LGBT pride is direct definace of what is wanted and expected of us. It is spitting in the face of those who want us dead. It’s stomping on the people who wanted to keep us hidden away or under wraps.

LGBT pride is being proud of who you are within the context of people hating you and wanting you dead for it.

the thing i really hate about the split attraction model is how easy it made me to hide and suppress my sexuality.

it is so easy to say you’re a panromantic demi-grey asexual demi-pansexual or whatever instead of just saying you’re a lesbian !!!!

the split attraction model made my compulsory heterosexuality so much stronger. it took me years to realize that im not attracted to men because i kept thinking im autochorisexual, aegosexual, autosexual, demi-pansexual, whatever !!!! it is SO! HARMFUL! especially with all the homophobia i already faced.

it was so freeing to realize that im just a lesbian, i don’t have to like men, and the attraction i felt towards men wasn’t real !!!!

my Akoisexuality was just comp het, because i kept feeling like “oh i would have sex with him!!” only to end up having him wanting to see me in person and having a huge panic attack over it for reasons i couldn’t really explain
