I just learnt “Unusualifiers” now exist for taunts in TF2, and I went to buy one for my favourite taunt, which I’ve had since the 2012 US election.

I named it this in 2012 because of memes, and the fact it throws money.

BLU Scout has had a texture error giving him the wrong color pants for 17 full years, and the game finally got patched so they're the right color.

Within a day, they reverted the fix because it doesn't match the 17 years of cosmetic items he has.

I feel like people have this idea that Roblox is a platform full of little babies that can hardly spell anything but if you go to like any game and look around for five minutes you can quickly come to the conclusion that Roblox isn't actually appropriate for children. it's just the most profitable to advertise to children. like with any platform that allows users to interact and upload custom content, despite the filters Roblox has in place (that they seemingly don't enforce), children are exposed to all kinds of "inappropriate" stuff on Roblox already. so me saying "cunt" is like nothing. they introduced 17+ Roblox for a reason I think but it should be bumped up to 18+ in all honesty. I've seen people straight up make out and fuck in vr. it's like the wild west of MMOs and I wouldn't actually let my kids anywhere near Roblox.

having a platform where anybody can do anything and then shooting the offenders after they've already made an offense is NOT how you run a platform for kids. It should operate on a whitelist with games and content that are "approved" to be safe. this would not only prevent kids from being exposed to things they shouldn't be exposed to, but also allow moderators to have a smaller pool of games/content to moderate and make getting anything that does happen alot easier. it just makes more sense. anyone with a verified 18+ ID (which Roblox already asks you for) can then proceed to go into the wild west instead of having a bunch of scared confused children wandering through it. that's how I'd do it, personally.
