Tarir already has, in game, mesoamerican influence within it's architecture. My character himself is also Mexican Indigenous, so I felt particularly emotional about the thought of leaning into that. So Here is Aurene inspired by Mexica art! In my mind, the exalted created this mural shortly after her birth, to commemorate it and soldify Leo as her champion... embedded into the walls of her sanctuary.

Just watched the GW3 trailer....

Where are my Charr...my asura...most importantly my fucking DRAGONS??

It looked exceedingly generic, and if I didn't know it was Guild Wars related I wouldn't have immediately clocked it.

It seems like it's a prequel as well...I'm kinda disappointed can't even lie lol

Tbh I wanted something like...the next dragon cycle.

It's been a few hundred years, and the world has continued to advance...Technology has grown leaps and bounds under Asuran and Canthan influence...

And Aurene has awoken. And you get to raise the new generation of elder dragons and the dragon you pick to guide prompts where you start off. Add in Tengu/Kodan playable races but keep all the others. I want my plants and war cats and goblins and shape-shifting giants!!

Idk man. Given I haven't gotten to play VoE yet I know I may be missing some things but they gave us SO much in GW2!! And that's the lore I fell in love with and dedicated an entire decade plus of my life too with running this blog...and I miss my dragon daughter 😭

WE KILLED BALTHAZAR ONCE its on sight with that mf I don't care about a damn prequel with literally none of the cool races or lore I love lmao

I had an unclear idea for what I wanted to do for Pride Month art with my Commander/Wayfinder (Commfinder lol) but I surprised myself once I sat down to draw it!
