fun fact: males do all of the nest building, incubating, and childcare! kind of reminds me of male seahorses :)

!!!!! I FEEL LIKE I HIT THE JACKPOT this is such a good bird for him!! Somehow I have never considered sandpipers as a symbolic bird for Grace but it fits in such a multitude of ways... and I see spotted sandpipers on my local beaches all the time!! So delightful thank you so much YAYYY

was thinking about how many of my current fav ocs are based on old versions of Dan, so I present to you: The Daniel Mitosis Chart.

not including a lot of other Dan offshoots, such as the TOH AU and Slumbering Mages AU, as they’re still very tied to Daniel himself, and not including other ocs slightly inspired by him because really, I can only write like 4 characters ever so all my guys are inspired by each other. These are the main ones that really still feel like Daniel to me, even though current Dan isn’t very similar to any of them anymore. Yay
