hi all! this is a new blog and i’m still getting things set up / organized so please don’t mind the cobwebs. i’m october and this is my new indie! i’m semi selective, but my opens are always open to mutuals and non mutuals.

this is a 21+ blog dealing in mature themes and content. i do not tag triggers, but if there is something specific you would like me to tag, please let me know.

“Okay, try to contain your excitement here,” a dramatic pause to build up tension for a less than exciting announcement. a single pink ticket held between two fingers quickly morphs into two. “I’ve got not one but two tickets to spend the evening with pretentious film bros and stinky nerds at a shitty sci-fi movie marathon and you are coming with me.” what should have been a question was a statement. asha didn’t mess around when it came to movie marathons “I’m talking like b movie level bad; ooooh hopefully even z level”

caldwell’s eyes lit up at the invitation. he was ignoring the fact that he very easily fell in the cross section between ‘film bro’ and ‘stinky nerd’, eagerly seizing one of the two tickets. “oh, it better be z level, ash,” caldwell teased, adjusting his glasses as he flashed a crooked grin at her. “this is great. we should hit up the 7/11 on the way there and pick up some snacks. i’ll drive.”

plot: april married her high school sweetheart at a young age, but as she’s gotten older, she’s felt like she missed out on her youth. in an attempt to escape a bad situation, she ended up confiding in your muse which eventually led to an affair.

“i wish every first had been with you.” it felt like a foolish thing to say, but in the moment, nothing felt closer to the truth. april was only now starting to realize just how much she had been missing out on, and it took doing the unthinkable to come to that realization. but now that she’d done it, now that she’d cheated on her husband, she was surprised that she didn’t feel guilty about it.

  MUSE :   jameson, 40+, former magazine editor .                                                          OPEN  TO :   f .                                                                                          PLOT :   jameson and his ex wife agree to meet to discuss their children’s future. they get       sidetracked strolling down memory lane. can be soft, angtsy, bittersweet, go crazy.

they were supposed to be meeting to discuss the kids’ plans for college next year but they had gotten sidetracked. it had started when their song had started playing in the coffee shop where they’d agreed to meet. “i know you remember this one. senior year...? parked up on the look out...? in your dad’s car...?” jameson smiled, humming along to the familiar melody, now bittersweet all these years later. “we had some good times, didn’t we?”

"It's two in the fucking morning. What is so urgent?" Billy asked, as he opened the door to his house. "You're fucking lucky my dad's still at the bar." He grumbled, a click from the lighter being heard as he lit a cigarette and stuck it between his lips.

corey pushed past billy and into the house. he was visibly shaken, eyes flitting around the entryway as he drew in uneven breaths. he needed to calm down. “i didn’t know where else to go,” he explained, his eyes finally landing on billy, a wild desperation in them. “something happened. something’s happening. to me.”

“jinkies! it appears we’re standing under some viscum album,” velma observed, gazing above them. “er-- mistletoe,” she explained, her cheeks turning pink as her gaze returned to her very best friend, daphne blake. velma pushed her glasses up her nose, glancing away shyly. it seemed lately that she couldn’t help but get a little nervous whenever they were this close to each other, velma always rambling on endlessly to fill any sort of awkward silence that may result between them. “did you know that mistletoe is poisonous? in fact, ingesting it can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.” nice going, velma. definitely the sort of thing you want to hear to get you in the mood. velma grimaced at her own awkwardness, sinking a little into her turtleneck sweater, wishing for a moment that the floor would open up and swallow her whole.

“ah, don’t worry about me. this isn’t anything.” stu spoke with a smile that might be convincing to others, though he doubted his girlfriend would be as easily convinced. the truth of the matter was, he’d been a punching bag, but he could old his own…somewhat. a few scrapes and bruises weren’t all that big of a deal, and he’d been in worse scraps before. “what? you’re not still mad about that are you? if billy and i hadn’t stepped up to those guys who knows what they would have done.” he argued before tatum had the chance to, in truth he’d only gotten into the fight because billy couldn’t control  his temper, but one thing about stu that everyone knew, was that he was going to go out on a ledge for his best friend, regardless of the consequences.

“you’re such a dumbass sometimes,” tatum sighed, still studying the aftermath of yet another scrap that stu had gotten into. “you know if it hadn’t been two against one, steve totally would have beaten your ass.” tatum was trying to ignore the fact that of all the football jocks to pick a fight with, the boys had chosen stu’s ex girlfriend casey becker’s new beau. stu had told her a million times that he’d dumped casey to be with her, though sometimes tatum suspected he was full of shit. still, he was pretty cute when he was all bruised up, tatum’s annoyed scowl softening as she examined his bruises. “you’re lucky you’re cute, even when your face is all messed up,” she teased, kissing the corner of his mouth, her arms circling his neck as she leaned into him.

“i can be your nightmare or your dream come true…that all depends how you want to play it…” kendall smirked, his confidence never waning as he introduced himself. he wasn’t new to this, but clearly they were. that was why they’d called him in, a professional, and he’d take it easy on them, as long as they were fully on board for what this was supposed to be. “we can start off slow. a walk in the park, a trip to the supermarket. before we hit any red carpet events together.”

the last thing ronnie wanted was a bullshit pr relationship. but her management had very strongly suggested that she consider one in order to facilitate a successful comeback. something about softening her image and making her more approachable to a wider audience. how fucking boring. “a walk in the park. how cute,” she snorted humorlessly. she narrowed her eyes a little as she studied him. she could understand why this was who her team had picked out for her. he was clean cut, had a nice body, approachable, but with a bit of an edge to him. a sense of humor. “i had something a little different in mind...” if she had to do this, she was going to have some fun with it. “i heard about this new club that opened up down town. would you take me?” she asked sweetly, her eyes getting a bit wider, her scowl softening into a bit of a hopeful pout, her lower lip sticking out just so. she was an actress after all.

“i won’t tell if you don’t.” his voice low as he looked at them, his arms still firmly around their waist. it’s a risk, they both know it, but it didn’t stop them from continuing to find each other in a crowded space and managing to disappear together undetected. up until now the entire thrill of…whatever they were had come from the forbiddeness of it. “you wanna get out of here?” 

the muse: hendrix ( miguel herran ), twenty four, bisexual. open to anyone: best friend’s sibling, boss’ daughter, whatever else you can come up with ( no minors, no incest )

“my lips are sealed, baby.” while she wasn’t exactly known for keeping secrets, kirsten was having too much fun with hendrix to spoil it just yet. they’d all warned him about her, and yet here he was, hanging on to her every word. the feeling was addicting. “where you taking me, lover boy?” she asked, her arms snaking around his shoulders, her fingers tangling themselves in his hair. “some place nice, i hope.”

it was unseasonably warm for october, but corey was shaking, eyes wide as he stared down at the blood on his hands. blood that wasn't his. "what's happening to me..."

“a favor?” the angel asked, lighting his cigarette with the tip of his finger. he paused, taking a long, languid drag of his cigarette, exhaling tendrils of smoke through his nostrils. “you know i don’t do favors.” his dark eyes finally flicked up to meet the others, sizing them up. he had a bit of a reputation for being able to get just about anything for anybody. but that always came with a price. “tell me... what is it you can offer me?”

“had a craving for some pancakes,” rob answered, which wasn’t a complete lie. he really could go for some pancakes. but he could have gone anywhere for pancakes. the fact that he had chosen this particular establishment had nothing to do with that particular craving. “you don’t look happy to see me,” he pouted playfully.

with gloves on either hand, joseph carried the deceased woman’s body through the woods.  “okay. we’re gonna have to come up with a story  ..  a reason she died.”  but with the way his wife had murdered her, it wasn’t going to be an easy story to come up with.

he was always getting her out of trouble. that was just his way. he loved her too much for his own good, and lauren didn’t deserve it, especially not now, when lauren had done the unthinkable. she still couldn’t explain to him why or how it had happened, only that she was terrified, that she needed him, and true to form, he was prepared to do whatever he could to get her out of trouble again. she was walking beside him, arms wrapped tightly around herself. “an accident. accidents happen.” she was still a little numb, still in shock that she was capable of doing something like this. “they’ll believe you, won’t they? they trust you,” she looked up at him then, her eyes wide and pleading, desperate for reassurance.

“Hey–Hey, wait!” Kat gasped between giggles, stumbling backwards as he kissed her. “Are you insane? My parents are down the stairs! You’re lucky you’re even allowed in my bedroom!” She laughed as she tried to avoid his kisses, her cheeks a light pink. She couldn’t help but sigh a little when she felt his lips on her neck, brown eyes rolling to the back of her head as she tried to stay focused. “C’mon, we can’t… We should be studying for exams next week. I need to pass English if I want to get into college…” Katherine tried to distract him, hoping he would take pity on her.

cillian had no interest whatsoever in studying. honestly, kat should have known better by now. after all, they had been sort of ‘seeing’ each other for a few weeks now, longer than cillian had ever ‘seen’ any girl before. he didn’t have the best reputation when it came to relationships, but that only seemed to make girls want him more, a fact he wasn’t exactly complaining about. “mm, i’m testing you right now,” he mumbled into her hair, his lips reattaching themselves to her neck as he kept going. “gotta be prepared for any distractions during the exam.” his hand was moving up her thigh now, his lips returning to hers, his other hand tangling gently in her hair.

PLOT :   gavin  is  an  amateur  ghost  hunter  and  has  dragged  your  muse  to  an  abandoned  home  to  investigate .  trouble  is ,  gavin  is  terrified  of  ghosts .

“  did  i ━  did  i  hear  that ?  hear  what ?  i  didn’t  hear  anything .  ”   absolutely  had  heard  a  creepy  noise  coming  from  down  the  hall ,  but  gavin’s  not  interested  in  investigating  anymore .   “  in  fact ,  this  place  seems  kind  of  boring .  should  we  leave ?  i  feel  like  we  should  leave .  ”

“you’re not scared are you?” stevie questioned, clearly amused by gavin’s sudden desire to get the fuck outta here. and just when things were getting exciting! “this was your idea wasn’t it?” she questioned, not even trying to hide the playful sort of grin that was tugging at her lips. “aw, gav, do you wanna hold my hand? i promise i won’t let any of the big bad ghosties get yah.”
