Also the last trailer beginning with Orange Inkling staring at the Smash Ball was also surprising emotional. Like it began with those funky squids and the fact that end called back to that moment... It was really nice and meant a lot to me, for some reason.

splatoon 2 but FOUR years

Just some team blue headcanons because I am in the mood:

▪︎ Bobblehat is the youngest of Team Blue, which makes everyone keep a very close eye on her. Yes, they're all silly kids but they especially want to be watchful of her .

▪︎ She's not even that much younger. Like she's the same age, just woulf have a December birthday. So she thinks kts silly that they do this but it also makes her happy they care so much.

▪︎ They all tend to have a sleepover at Googles or Spec's house. Goggles because his Grandma makes the best treats and Specs because his house has a lot of space to mess around and kinda practice in.

▪︎ Specs is a rich squid kid. Not Emperor rich but still rich. I do not take criticisms.

▪︎ Headphones has few food allergies, so the team is always trying to make sure they choose somewhere they can all snack at. Goggles also makes sure to order something that has nothing she's allergic too. That way in case she accidentally orders something with it, they can trade.

▪︎ If cars were a thing, Specs would be the only one legally allowed to drive. Once again, no criticisms.

Mini Empacer(?) Headcanons, because I'm in the need for some soft content:

▪︎ Growing up with his parents being distant was very difficult on Emperor, even if he likes to deny it. A larger portion of his anger is due to them neglecting Prince, but a small part of him is hurt for feeling abandoned himself, and only N-Pacer knows that fact. Not even SK.

▪︎ He loves all of his team dearly (Even Laceless, who's become a second little brother to him) but he doesn't let anyone really see him vulnerable besides N-Pacer.

▪︎ He trusts her, with how much she's taken an active part to be in both his and Prince's life. Without a second thought or hesitation, N-Pacer has always been a constant and calming factor for them both, which is why Emperor feels as if he can be open around her.

▪︎In turn, it makes him determined to dote on her and let her know that he's there for her just as much as she'll be there for him... Which means a lot to her. She isn't the most vocal person, but she trusts Emperor as much as he trusts her.

▪︎They just have a very quiet, but sweet and trusting relationship.

I know this isn't a Smash blog, but hear me out. In some sort if smash bros universe, when a character enters a game they take the appearance of whatever the game art style is. So, imagine them in say a splatoon setting... What I'm trying to say is, Link but an Inkling.

hey can u write some hcs for the orange inkling girl who has a best friend (the blue inkling boy) that has a crush on her. But she likes the handsome joker boy from smash and she's getting really annoyed with blue inkling boy because of his dumb jealously. if u could do that that'd be really cool thanks xxx

I know who sent this and you think I won't do it but here it is 👀:

▪︎Orange Inkling literally thinks Joker is so cool because he has a gun.

▪︎Blue Inkling also has one, but his isn't cool like Ren's (His name is Ren I don't take criticism).

▪︎So Blue Inkling gets upset and stops playing with Orange because of it.

▪︎Orange is stressed and sad because she feels like she has to choose between her childhood best friends and the new friend she made, and maybe has a bit of a crush on.

▪︎Meanwhile, Joker deadass has no idea he is in an inkling love triangle. Listen, he just enjoys being feral with the Orange Inkling and just wants to have a fun time with his new squid kid friend.

▪︎Blue, I'm sorry, but you just don't have the stylish flair that Ren does.
