im not rlly an idols fan tbh, but raiders has made deep cut grow on me a LOT, so... maybe my answer before this would've been tentatively Marie. but its definitely and solidly frye now, followed closely by shiver and big man
made some mechanic ocs. i got five bc i have... five possible timelines (good-ish endings) in my ocverse. im greedy u see.
Kaura the left, Harlequin in the middle, Chelsea on the right
Kaura belongs to the Heartbeak timeline, Harlequin belongs to the Squidsuit timeline, and Chelsea belongs to the Oceanside timeline
aaand reassigning two of my already existing ocs to the mechanic role:
Spade on the left, Foray on the right (doll maker)
Spade is the mechanic for the main timeline, Newbeak, while Foray is the mechanic in the Maritime timeline.
these two ocs already existed in the ocverse tho so they've got other roles/things they were doing. Spade is DJ Sango in all timelines, and is actually Agent/Captain 3 of the Squidsuit timeline. Foray isn't anyone special by comparison, they're just the replacement member for the hole left in their ranked team by Newbeak's Agent/Captain 3.
on that note i think there is a potential timeline in which Foray is Newbeak's mechanic instead of Spade bc that Captain would feel a certain way about seeing their replacement become someone so incredible and amazing on par w themself
I feel he'd be into ANG-L with his current loadout right now.
