Their rude because Otherkin is an unhealthy cult that leads people to clutter reality and fiction, Chase dreams they’ll never achieve , generally be total asses and cause the death of a dog and a stalker pedophile who brainwashed a 16 year old.

Otherkin are horrible people and do no deserve

honestly people like that covers a very small percent of all otherkin. i do admit there are some EXTREMELY dangerous and problematic people who identify with otherkin, but for the most part it is a coping mechanism for some mental illnesses. also, its not a cult??? otherkins don't band together in packs trying to force others to become otherkin. and if they do, then that's exactly not what otherkin is about. people who have problems with disassociation can identify as otherkin to have something to attach too, and it helps with dysphoria to people feel  more comfortable with themselves. 

and yeah, sure, otherkin isnt a “”normal”” thing, but theres no reason to laugh and shit on an entire innocent population of people who just want to feel like they belong somewhere just because of a few extremely terrible people.

(and i am in NO WAY defending said terrible people. there are definitely very scary and problematic people in the otherkin community, but we do not want them here and we certainly don't want them to represent all of us.)
