Had a lovely time out to tea with friends for Family day, spending time with my friend-family ♥ Decided to go for a bit of an old school gothic-classic look and wore this velveteen Atelier Pierrot OP with a puffy blouse under it! I had plans for really cute shoes, but ended up in my regular boots because of the snow we got here in, it kind of worked with the old-school vibe tho

as someone whose wardrobe mostly consists of items that make me look like i'm going to a funeral, i definitely wracked my brain this morning to come up with something that was remotely in the spirit of valentine's day for our comm's vday meet. did it work? i hope so!

i found this occasion to be a great time to finally wear btssb babydoll since i don't own any cute/heart themed prints, and this dress (to me) is very cute, especially compared to the rest of my wardrobe lol

i only own two things that are actually heart-shaped; a ring with a cross from romantic 1996 that i got from ursa major this past winter, and the dr. martens heart bag, so this is truly my best attempt at a heart-y coord lol. this bag is quite massive, which is great for someone who always overpacks their bag any time they leave home (me)

while not visible in pictures, i actually wore a short-sleeved atepie blouse underneath with the intention of taking it off when i got to the event, but it was a bit chilly so the jacket stayed on. in retrospect, i think that it would've looked more sweet if i'd taken the jacket off (i meant for the jacket to be mainly coorded gothic), but trying not to freeze my butt off definitely took precedence. it reminds me of the business blazers that i used to wear pre-covid, and in a way i think it made this coord a bit more serious (?) which was interesting!

forgot to take close up pics, but i also really love the mossbadger ring (it's a frame with a lil cat inside) and i wear it outside of lolita sometimes as well because i find it so endearing

This Soufflé Song jsk makes my legs look so loooong, I love it. Lil test coord with this jsk and these shoes I wasn’t sure if they would work well with egl but honestly i think they do, they look great with ega and goth coords especially. Maybe I need some of those moitie ribbon socks for this, too. And my hair in big fluffy buns. This just needs….. more.
