This is just a bunch of ramblings from the off-kilter mind of a pre-med student. It's what I say to myself, or nobody in particular. 90% living Pokedéx completion!

To celebrate, I’m offering to breed Pokémon for anyone who waltzes into my inbox and asks for one. I’m a long time IV breeder so I’ll do 5 IVs of your choice, nature, hidden abilities (as long as my breeding stock has it), and even egg moves! I also have Pokérus available. Or, if you just want one without special breeding, that’s fine too. Leave me the specifics in my inbox, but make sure you’re off anon so I can trade friend codes and discuss trading times. You may also reblog with your request to help me signal boost.

If you’d like to help me reach my 100% completion goal (I mostly have legendaries left. I also need Porygon2 and Scizor.) or help me stock up on useful items (for battle or evolution) I’d be super grateful and might even give a rare berry or offer one of my extra “perfects” I have on hand.

Note: I work ~8-11 hours a day, so it may take a while for your request to be completed or to find a time we can trade. It can be anywhere from same day to 4 days, so please be patient. I breed all of my Pokémon legitimately and do not use hacks (aside from a 6IV Ditto to help speed things up), so it takes time if my luck isn’t good. Of course, if you don’t want any special breeding it’ll go a lot faster.

This update has me all kinds of hecked up. I just lost the second of my top two characters. It was bad enough that Terezi's gone, but now Rose... I need a mop for this pool of emotions I'm drowning in.

I just love ymir so much because she’s this total punk kid with a crude sense of humor and a “I don’t give a fuck” attitude but deep down she does give a fuck, she gives so many fucks, and she wants you to accept who you are even all the icky parts, even the parts that might be a monster because being who you are is punk and it’s rad and I just love ymir so much

Well, I finally got around to finishing the game!

The people in charge of Azran Legacy must have watched a bit too much Laputa/Castle in the Sky, but the game's end was as excellent as ever and the post-game scenes nicely tie in the prequels with the sequels. In all, it's a solid game that was worth the slow buildup from 4 and 5, and I love the way everything just ties up neatly (although Emmy and Descole just kinda disappear into the sunset). I guess the only part I was iffy about in this game was the five areas you have to visit for the eggs, as it slows the game down and feels rather detached (though it really showed off how well the team could bring different environments to life). I also wish the puzzles were a tad harder, although I can see why some people like the easier puzzles because beating yourself up over a puzzle can distract you from the main story line.

Overall I'd say it actually ties with Miracle Mask (but it doesn't quite make it to Unwound Future levels because that game made me sob). So, on my scale of PL games, I'd have to say my game order is now: 3, 5 = 6 > 2 > 1 > 4

(But honestly, that was a huge bombshell in a good way. And ngl, Descole giving up his name so that Layton would be adopted hits hard right in the feels.)

Can I just take a moment to appreciate the puzzle solved and puzzle failure animations for Descole?

This is a man with an ego to put Randall to shame; he gives you this cheeky little smirk at the very end when he gets it right with a "Thank you, thank you, I'm here all week", but get it wrong and he turns around with a huff and a cape flourish while saying "The puzzle was flawed" like a 5-year-old.

Also the same person who was greatly upset when his hair was compared to pigtails. And when people can't get his name right.  Such a huge and easily crushed ego. An intelligent, grown man with all the theatrics of a hormonal teenage girl. I can't believe I actually took him seriously as a villain back in Eternal Diva. He was the real diva all along. Bless this man.

I also love how immediately after the reveal, Professor Layton's love of MacGyver-ing flying machines out of random materials on hand comes into play. "Oh shoot, he's getting away with the key. Better make a fantastic flying device to come down from Reinhold manor a mecha fortress an EXTREMELY tall building (which are prone to very strong winds at the top) and prove myself both a genius and a badass yet again."

Also, PIPE VERSUS SWORD FIGHT PART II. Awesome.

Serious thoughts about Professor Layton in a fighting game. The man, though not keen on brawling, is a highly skilled fencer who can improvise weapons (Slot machine guns, anyone?) and all sorts of other gizmos. I've seen fighters get by on a lot less. And he's in pretty good shape, considering he can outrun a ferris wheel. Not to mention if it comes down to it he can always throw boiling hot tea at his enemies.

I can't help but get serious Attack on Titan vibes at Mosinna. A giant wall around a very rural city. Similar architecture, if a little less organized in general layout than AoT. Ancient, forgotten technology hidden under the brickwork. The name SINA. All we need are some titans.

In other news, I think I'm ready to stop dragging my heels on this game and just finish it.
