Of All Things is a Pokemon fancomic that takes place in the Johto region. The plot is based off the Pokemon Soul Silver game. You can read it here! It's written based off the events of a nuzlocke challenge with a bit of a twist to it-- the starter pokemon was randomized.

Hey Taratara, I have a question for you about the senrets. How are they like the way they are? What allows them to remember speech perfectly, and how does sending messages with them work?

Hmm.. basically, Sentret are really good scout Pokemon. They have very good memory over sight and sound which allows them to never get lost. They rely on their really good memory over everything. I talked to a sentret about this when I lived in the caves. He told me that a Sentret remembers messages through sound, not words.

In other words when a sentret relays a message to you, he's relaying the sounds and inflections of the speaker exactly, not their message. Kind of like how some birds adopt the speech of humans without internalizing the meaning of those words.

If that makes sense.

@Everyone: Who's the team's Most Valuable Pokemon in your opinion and why? Also, @ Aeya: Did you really want to evolve? You seemed almost sort of reluctant when you did. Or was that expression because of everything you had just seen?

The most valuable pokemon? Oh gosh, that's a tough one. I guess I seem to be used a lot, though, so maybe me.

That's easy. I'm the most valuable. I've never even struggled in my battles.

I think we're all equally valuable in our own ways. All of us contribute something different to the team.

Valuable? In what sense?

If you're talking about being valuable to our trainer, I think Yami values Popcorn the most. But if you're not talking about Yami, then I think we value each other equally. None of us wants to see anyone else leave or die.

Hell, it was hard enough seeing Unibrow leave. He was with us for a long time. Hopefully at some point I'll get to see him in the flesh again.

Okay, so... I know it's been a while. And I don't want to make any promises. I AM working on the update. But I have no idea when it's going to be out. I do want to finish this story. I do.

I realize I haven't made anything in like.... god damn, I think the last time I published something was April. So a full season ago. I just wanted to say sorry for that.

I've been really good about updates up until this point. But the problem was that I wrote myself into a dead end.

I didn't see fallacies until just now, and it's bugging the crap out of me. I don't know what to do about that story, because now I see the glaring hole in my story. I

It's really difficult to write on a foundation that's so flawed. I feel like I'm bullshitting people.

I still really, really want to write this story, but the problem still remains that I wrote myself into a hole. And I've been trying to figure out how to fix it. Without retconning any of my ideas. But it's... really difficult.

I've ended up distracting myself with other things, things that I love. But that doesn't mean I've given up on this story. I don't want to quit. I REALLY don't want to quit.

I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I'm really sorry, for all of this waiting. And for the incompetence on my behalf. So so sorry.

Hello! I hope you don't mind me asking this, but what happened to your white 2 nuzlocke? Is it just simply on a hiatus or have you discontinued it?

I honestly haven't decided yet. I do want to continue with those characters but the truth is that nuzlocke wasn't really eventful.

To, Yamikaisu, exactly how do write the story? I'm thinking of starting a Nuzlocke soon, and some of my friends say just draw whatever comes to mind, and what ideas sound the best. I just wanted your point of view on it? If you don't mind answering, that is.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by how I write the story. Just pay attention to how the nuzlocke makes you feel, pay attention to your feelings. Write those feelings down, incorporate them into the story.
