hiatus notice!!- i'm dropping the ball for a bit. not that it really matters, since my activity's been lacking recently anyways. logging on here feels a bit like a chore, and with my grades slipping, and both the act and the sat coming up, when i'm goofing off on tumblr, i wanna do it on a blog i'm excited about. i'm going to focus my energy on setting up a couple of other blogs i've been wanting to start for a while, and i'll revisit here after exams to see where i stand then. until then, i'll still have this blog up on my phone probably, and know i don't have any intentions of dropping threads, so feel free to message me for my aim if you want to keep in touch until then.

WHEELS.
“that was not a funny story and i don’t care for it… but fine. where do you need to go?”
“i thought it was a riot, mind you. just a couple of places. the library, the pet store, church, and the doughnut shop. easy peasy.”
"No matter how famous I get, no matter how crazy everything gets, I’m always gonna be true to who I am and true to who I love."

WHEELS.
“okay, but i don’t see what this has to do with me.”
“-- well, that part's a funny story. i got my license suspended, and i was hoping i could bum a ride or dozen off of my good ol' pal.”
she hates wearing her hair up, and she hates her shoes, and she hates that she came to celebrate someone's happiness when her own seems lightyears away, but she was offered free drinks out the ass, and who could say no to that? after a year in rehab, probably willow, but one night under full supervision of noah wouldn't hurt. she ran her thumb over the texture of her clutch, and stood idly to the side as she watched him greet what she could assume from a few polite introductions was his family. she kept a kind enough grin throughout it all, but as they made their way through the line, she huffed through gritted teeth. "you think the bar's open yet?"
Imagine your OTP proposing repeatedly at different restaurants to get free food.
#AND WHEN THE REAL PROPOSAL COMES AND THEY GET FREE ICE CREAM OR SOMETHING#PERSON A IS LIKE ‘omg that was a good one the whole speech was a nice touch where did you get this ring it looks so realistic omg’#and person B is just like ‘r u fucking kidding me’
From personal experience, I know it can be hard coming up with archetypes and things and I came across some generators that (honestly) have been super helpful when i’m stuck in a rut with what I want to write.
here’s a archetype generator and here’s a personality generator
this one generates different motives and it’s honestly really cool
here’s a family tree generator like how many siblings they may have and if their parents and grandparents are in good health.
this ones an appearance generator and it’s honestly a+++
okay okay this one is one that just throws things together to make maybe a background character and it includes things like their religion and their job
ADRIAN.
adrian eyed the petite female, arm still casually draped across her shoulders ere his gaze swept back towards the other guy, eyeing him up and down in what he hoped would be understood as jealousy. “making friends, hm? well,” he noted, feigning a grin at the other male, “my name’s adrian. the boyfriend. i’m sure you won’t mind if i steal her away for a second, would you? haven’t seen her all day, after all.” and with that, adrian tucked her away, leading her back to the table he had formerly occupied without breaking physical contact to keep up the appearance should whatever the other bloke’s name was still be watching. he raised a brow at her, grinning lightly as he shot her a look. “you okay? that dude seemed a bit pushy.”
brennan was silent, as she watched him navigate, a bit shocked to see this sort of kindness from a stranger in a bar. among horror stories, and sad sights she had seen herself, this was a silver lining of sorts, making the unwanted affection from a stranger seem more like a fluke than a definite side effect of a night on the town. she happily followed him away, without so much as another word to the man at the bar, and it wasn't until he spoke that she realized she'd been holding her breath. "-- 'm good, thanks. i'm sure he's fine and dandy, but his bar manners are a little shabby. but i suppose that could be the alcohol.."
LUNA.
“uh — two things. number one, i’m only scary because i’m not into selfies and i’m pretty quiet if people leave me be to sit right in this spot and do what i need to do. and secondly, your friends are weak like c’mon, i’m 5’2.” luna’s brows knitted together as she gave a roll of her eyes. “i am too fun, never once have i complained about you dying the sink with your latest hair related adventure. i can’t remember what i was like back in high school, the same i presume. i still call in sick for you sometimes, i did that a lot when you had chemistry tests.” she’ll tap brittle nails on the side of her cup as a chuckle passes through her lips. “doozy? please stop watcjing back to the future and the brady bunch.”
“perhaps scary was the wrong word, but intimidating fits all the same. you're 5'2, but 5'2 of what appears to be anger, judgemental thoughts, and not half enough cheese.” he informed her, matching her expression. “you'e like, mom fun, and that's not real fun. you're like a cool mom, do you really want that being your claim for fun-ness? and doozy is a perfectly functional and fine word. i can't tell why it ever went out of style. i dare you to say it again without smiling."
