I wanna see more fanfic with ftm that includes t dicks!!! I feel like most people just ignore the changes that happen to a body on T and sand the trans identity down to “man with vagina”which is a fundamental misunderstanding of the experience.

(To be clear you don’t need to be on T to transition, but when ftm guys are written to have been on T for years but also have 0 other bodily changes than a deep voice, I tend to feel a little jaded)

Could just be a me problem but I find it really flippant and dismissive whenever cis people a say their pronouns are “whatever is fine, you can call me anything lol” knowing full well that they prefer she/her or he/him. To me it reads like “unlike you pronoun people it doesn’t bother me when I am misgendered. Such things are below me” and it sucks because most cis people who answer like that try to be allies. - The world needs more better and amazing og!Shen Qingqiu fics and I’m here to deliver it all. For now, here it is!

Here’s some of my top all time favourite Shen Jiu centric reccomendtions! Just so you know I LOVE whenever Shen Jiu beng described as calculating and cunning the way he deserve to be.

1. When the Wound is Tired of Singing, It starts to cry, By Bananapink. (Unfinished BUT I SWEAR YOU WONT REGRET READING IT)

absolutely fantastic and the most beautiful fic that accurately describe Shen Jiu getting his second chance at having a good life. Nothing compared, in fact- I would say this is the best fic of Sheng qingqiu as it have no pairing whatsoever and merely focusing on Sheng Jiu reflecting on his faults and hardships he have gone through. Life changing fic 10/10, blows my mind and forever in my heart. NO SHIP!

Ooo, what if somehow Binghe gains his own little system sometime before the conference while on a mission, and its goal is helping him "achieve a satisfying and loving relationship" with Shen Qingqiu | Shen Yuan?

Like, for example:

Binghe: "System? Can you show me Shizun's current, ah...'stats'?"

System: [Opens a screen with way, waaay too much information. Health Bar, Mental Health Status (which is broken up into smaller units like happiness, stress, and two mysterious categories labeled '???'), hunger/thirst, and Status Conditions (which, at the moment, only contains Without a cure).]

Binghe: @A@ [overwhelmed]

Binghe: [snaps himself out of it] ònó "I will learn quickly. For shizun!"

And Binghe does, but for a long time, nothing he does seems to change anything in the Stat window, even as it tells him things like '+20 happiness point!'.

Then, as the conference looms ever closer, his shizun starts to become quieter, and the system starts jumpscaring Binghe with short, unexplained '-5 happiness points'/'+20 stress points' messages. They're easily fixed with good food and distractions, but no matter how much Binghe looks into the matter, he can't seem to figure out where his Shizun's sudden distress comes from.

(That day, when Shizun asks him if he's willing to do anything to become strong, Binghe's poor heart receives a shock when his answer earns him a delayed '+50 stress points!')

At the edge of the Abyss, even as things go horribly wrong, Binghe's system doesn't shy away for a second. Every few words, it warns him of severe point gains in the stress category; but if he's honest, he's too busy trying to convince his Shizun that he's still good to pay that the attention it deserves.

Later, when he finds a safe place to hide and cry, the system opens itself unprompted.

It turns out Shizun's stress levels rose drastically in the moments leading up to pushing him into this place. Not only that, his happiness points *tanked.* In fact, they tanked so drastically that it met the conditions nessecary to finally reveal those mysterious '???' categories.

Binghe sobs. The new categories are 'Fear' and 'Heartbreak', and one is already decently high.

Throughout his time in the Abyss, he constantly checks Shizun's status window. It's the only thing he has connecting him to Shizun, yes, and at first that is the only reason he looks at all, but as some time passes, he begins to realize that those stats labeled Hunger and Health are gradually falling into the negative categories. Mental Health is stagnating at an alarming low number as well.

"This one doesn't understand. Shizun threw me in, so why...?"

[Would Host like to unlock Stat Window Plus for a more in-depth experience?]

"'In-depth'...? Would that explain why Shizun is...like this?"

[Affirmative.]

He agrees. Suddenly, Hunger is accompanied by two timers showing how long it has been since Shizun last ate and drank. Health breaks down into sleep, hygiene, and energy. Status Conditions has added a timer, too, tracking the time between flare-ups as well as the percentage of Without a cure's slow conquest of his poor Shizun's body.

It's slightly underwhelming. At the same time, as he looks over the timers and the new subcategories, his mind starts painting an impossible picture.

Shizun isn't eating. Shizun isn't sleeping. His heartbreak points aren't lowering.

Shizun is *sad.*

Shizun... Was he missing Binghe? The same way Binghe misses him? Did he... maybe regret throwing him away?

The idea sinks in more every day. Gains traction with every hour Shizun neglects himself; for Binghe likes to believe he knows his shizun best, and skipping food and rest was most unlike his dear beloved.

When Binghe breaks free of the Abyss, he resolves to show his dear shizun that he is still good, just like in cannon, but he's less angry. Less heartbroken. Xin Mo has less to grasp onto in his heart, and so when Jin Lan happens, his mind is just clear enough to pay attention when System starts throwing bright red screens in his face informing him of rising fear points.

Binghe feeling conflicted when happiness points are rising followed closely by stress and fear points. Is Shizun happy to see him? Is Shizun afraid of how Binghe will react after all this time? How can Binghe reassure his Shizun? Every time he tries, the fear and stress points rise! When he declares he wants to make sure Shizun stays healthy! That Shizun eats! The stress and fear rise!

The sect is more willing to accept him back in, writing everything off as a misunderstanding. Of course Shen Qingqiu would assume falling into the abyss would be sure death for Binghe. The fact that Binghe survived was a miracle that the peak lords are willing to gloss over if it means one of their own will stop grieving like a widow!

Binghe resumes his place beside Shizun, but while he can raise the low hunger and health levels... Every time he manages to make Shizun's happiness rise, the fear and stress increase too! Sometimes Binghe has to hold himself back from asking if Shizun wants to be happy. Would Shizun be happier if Binghe disappeared again? Was Binghe's thoughts that Shizun was sad when he was gone false conjecture all along?

so bingge never really knew liu qingge, right? he'd died before bingge came to cang qiong (or at least before he was old enough to know much about the sect outside qing jing)

so im imagining bingge shows up in svsss world, probably chasing after sqq or something weird post extras, and suddenly he comes across an ethereal cultivator facing off against some mythological beast. he remembers having trouble fighting the creature when he encountered it himself a few years after he escaped the abyss, so his instinct is to step in

only, before he can take xin mo and save the maiden (?), the cultivator rends the beast's head clean from its neck, flicking the blood off their blade with a practiced flourish

bingge is ??? (and also maybe horny? uh??)

he steps closer to get a peek and is shocked to see someone who could be liu mingyan's double, just broader, and a bit taller. he's even more shocked they aren't veiled, knowing what troubles his wife faced due to her looks

it's only after he follows (stalks) the cultivator throughout the countryside for about a week, watching them defeat demons and beasts alike without breaking much of a sweat, that he realizes this must be the Bai Zhan War God Liu Qingge, a man he'd never met in his own world, and who's death he'd handedly avenged at the behest of his wife, Liu Qingge's younger sister

the man is impressive, to say the least. he handles foes that bingge faced with only slightly less grace and efficiency, wielding his sword like an executioner's axe, brutal yet indifferent, as though the slaughter was nothing more than a duty he excelled at

it's exciting

he watches as liu qingge returns to cang qiong, watches as the man drops the carcasses of his conquests on shen qingqiu and that imposter's doorstep, so clearly pining and yet left alone in the cold, served with nothing but subpar tea and a glare from bingge's wretched counterpart, a wound only eased by the tempting, gentle smile of his soft shixiong

bingge begins to put the pieces together (as wrongly as one possibly could), and starts to realize (again, incorrectly) that the difference in this world must be that all his wifes-to-be are indeed husbands-to-be, and bingmei was just slow on the uptake, having only garnered one marriage thus far. he hasn't run across liu mingyan yet, so it's entirely possible her and her brother's fates had swapped here. perhaps this man's survival is why sqq didn't have such an awful reputation in this world? (he doesn't take the time to consider why that might be, not entertaining the idea he could have been wrong about his world's shen qingqiu's involvement in the bai zhan peak lord's demise)

watching this all unfold, he hatches a plan

if bingmei's pathetic self won't take the opportunity in front of him and marry liu qingge, an evidently unparalleled beauty just like his sister, then bingge will. he has never claimed to be selfless, and intends to be as greedy and self serving as possible by pursuing the cultivator who is clearly desperate for connection

connection that bingge is all too happy to provide

I love the idea of a Cozy modern AU (flower shop/coffee/tattoo artist AU) with the caveat that Luo Bingge is there visiting Shen yuan as a customer every day and being absolutely smitten but also such a raging asshole narcissist that Shen Yuan builds a slow but steady love-hate relationship with him until it all boils over and the reverse transmigration reveal happens.

Actually…Shen Yuan to be a potter. That’s cozy, and he could teach LBG how to throw and pottery is a super patient hobby so LBG would have to learn how to take his time and not get instant gratification. Imagine him planning out drying times LMAOOO LBG would riot. He’d try to rush the process and he’d have an S crack by the end, and Shen Yuan would smile patiently at him and say: “It’s okay, let’s recycle it. Do you want to say goodbye?”

And LBG would look at him in utter despair like: “Wait what do you mean?? It’s just a crack, right? We can fix it, right?”

And SY would look him in the eyes as he tenderly snaps the bowl in half. OOIUUUGGJGH.

this post has genuinely inspired me to maybe write a fic where these all take place in a semi role reversal backstory world (jiu ge escapes the manor and meets wu yanzi before killing him at a conference like canon and getting picked up by the peak lord that he impressed (said peak lord only did it for shits and giggles and to piss off th sect leader) and xiao qi ends up burning the manor down on accident after trying to stop forced incest from happening and runs away in fear of retaliation from that guys extended family) and lemme just say xiao qi never even becomes sect leader jiu ge just walks up to his peak lord (my ver where he's lowkey a sleaze and lazy af but sj does his paperwork so he doesn't come off as it anymore and everyone knows why he's more competent now so some of them (an ding) are praying he keeps that disciple) and is like you WILL officiate our wedding and have us move out into a private dorm instead of having us slumming it with all those other gross men in the male dormitory or i will stop covering for your ass whenever the sect leader drops by and you try to run off out the window like a child. and my guy does because he finds the entire situation hilarious. and also somewhere along the way he makes sure xiao qi cultivates and gets a non fucked up xuan su and cleans up any loose ends from his husbands accidental arson double homicide situation. xiao qi is absolutely 1000000% on board with all of this except he's a little iffy on the murder part until jiu ge mentions that not tying up these loose ends will come back to bite them both in the ass. and we all know yue qi would do absolutely anything to keep shen jiu safe so that clears up any hesitation on his part.
