It always baffles me when I see a post or read a fic and they mention WE employees being paid minimum wage or not having good insurance, or Wayne Insurance being a thing and being as awful as other insurances.

Hello? This is BRUCE WAYNE we are talking about? The guy that keeps giving his money away to the community to make it better because it breaks his heart to see people suffer? That acknowledges people turn to crimes because they need money to survive, so he tries his best to support people, that believes in rehabilitation so much he is against killing criminals?

In the comics, he gets sad af when, as Batman, he sees two of his interns doing crimes, and he goes to meet them as Bruce Wayne, to tell them that if they need money, they can just ask. In the comics, he build apartments and house for free homeless and poor people. He is the one financially supporting Leslie's free clinic. He pays for any of his workers' education and personally encourages them to pursue education. He calls people that try or succeed to kill CEO "vigilantes" and not criminals because "they were not giving back to the community + participating in climate change, so they had it coming". He has been shown to finance research and development for better health care and treatments of mental ill patients.

This man may be sending people to the hospital, but it doesn't mean he will not pay for it himself. If a rogue destroys something, Bruce Wayne is paying personally for it. There's no way anyone is paid minimum wage at WE, this man will not authorize that. If you think he is against universal free healthcare, you are wrong. You could probably approach him and ask him to pay for your hamster's surgery and he would, because he doesn't care about money but he cares about people not needing money.

I want an AU of villain! Bruce who’s absolutely dog-shit at being evil.

Firstly: The worst thing he can think of doing is not donating to animal shelters or charities . immediately feels so guilty he throws up.
