Becoming a vampire was the best thing to Anna. She enjoyed travelling the world, getting what she wanted from anyone she saw fit, having nothing in her way. It was the perfect life. The pair hit it off from the first moment, but Anna ran away from her feelings, putting her new found “heart” in her closest friend, Jasper, who she had loved for a long time. Leaving Sebastian to marry and settle down with him, even beginning a family.
