The meaning of name Emre in Turkish: It means "Wanted (wished for)" and "Loved" (More of a platonic way). It is already fitting, isn't it? considering his backstory.
But it doesn't end here.
It comes from an old Oghuz Turkish word, amrak, that meant "Peace, Peaceful,Serenity, Serene, Calm" and had a semantic shift.
("Amrak ol!" "Be calm!" "Calm down!")
These meanings are not known at all unless you are a linguistics nerd like me who happen to search the meanings and origins of names in their free time.
I am quite sure they only named him Emre because it is a popular name. But...what if they thought?
Isn't it a wonderfuly tragic irony now, considering his situation? Now everyone sees him ruthless and destructive, absolutely not calm.

i don’t know if you’re on there but the enhablr (enhypen tumblr) community has been hell lately with multiple “expose” blogs coming out and accusing so many authors of ai. it’s gotten to the point multiple accounts have quit and i’m just like ugh
I didn’t know what enhypen is. I did just google it. and apparently they are a k-pop boy band? but unfortunately I don’t know them.
that said, ai witch hunts and accusations are unfortunately common in most communities that have creative writing. some places are worse than the others. but overall this is exactly why I believe ai witch hunts ruin the writing community as much as ai does, if not more.
and also all these “expose blogs” are nothing more than a bunch of bullies who want to find a “morally correct and noble way” to harass other people. they don’t care about the writing community they claim to protect if all they do end in people—genuine writers—leaving the community, and nothing is actually done about the usage of ai.
also, I do not like ai fics (and if I think a fic is ai, I’ll either exit it or continue reading it for the benefit of the doubt, but I’ll never make any public comments about how I think it might be ai), but even if someone does choose to let ai write for them, that is still their business and their rights to engage in their hobby however they want. and under no circumstances will harassment ever be justified.

If you receive one of these comments, do not click on any of the links in it, reply to it, or interact with it in any way. The links in these comments lead to sites asking you to verify your identity by providing payment information. This is a common credit card scam. AO3 does not ever ask users to provide payment information, and the Policy & Abuse committee will never comment on your works asking you to "complete an identity verification process".

Select the "Thread" button on the scammer's comment. This will take you to the specific comment page.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Policy Questions & Abuse Reports.
In the "Brief summary of Terms of Service violation" field, enter "Spambot".
In the "Description of the content you are reporting" field, enter "This is a spambot, their username is USERNAME."
Reporting in this fashion helps us auto-sort your report so that it can be handled as soon as a Policy & Abuse volunteer is available. To help us address reports about these types of bots as fast as possible, please only submit one report per account, and don't include multiple accounts in the same report.

Vampires are not weak to garlic in particular. Rather, any allergy a vampire had in life becomes a deadly bane in undeath. The garlic thing is just a matter of one famous vampire having that as their thing.
