22 from Soul is agender, no I won't take criticism

Other Animated Movies: If you have a black main character they have to be turn into an animal or something cute.

Pixar: Why?

Other Animated Movies: I don’t know... to sell toys.

Pixar: Well in our movie the guy is in a cat’s body for most of the movie but his body is still on screen with him and he’s around a lot of other black people. 

Other Animated Movies: If you do that your movie will fail.

Pixar: At least we make people feel welcome and don’t make it seem like they need to be turn into something they not just to please other people.

Pixar is a GOAT and puts other studios to shame sometimes. Go watch Soul, the trailers does not do the movie justice at all!

Joe continues to be a teacher and inspire kids and he plays with the jazz band every weekend and he’s happy, but he can’t help but occasionally wonder how 22 is doing and where she ended up. 

And then one day, a few years later, there’s a new kid in his class. She’s snarky and sarcastic but is so full of life and she comes to class finishing a slice of pizza and when she takes things out of her backpack a bunch of helicopter leaves fall out, and Joe just lights up because he knows.

It’s her.

I am so mad that no one gave SOUL a chance...it's such a good wonderful movie....it wasn't even trending when it came out... like why bruh?

Soul was beautiful!

There was one scene where Joe was just remembering his life and I cried at that moment it was beautiful and hit me right in the feels.

And something great is joe was an average joe, a middle school band teacher, and he did what Mother Terresa and other amazing people couldn't. He helped 22 get their spark. He got 22 to want to live and see they were good enough they dont need a purpose to be ready to live. And that was beautiful.

Finished watching Soul. For all those who had dreams, have them now, who feel lost, or like they aren’t good enough or stuck…Please go watch it!

Please watch Pixar’s Soul. It’s better than the trailers imply. I think it handled the frustrating “ black/POC turned into non human creatures” the best. It’s a really good movie. If you want a fun but calm movie then Soul is for you

Go watch Soul because it actually has black people on screen for most of the movie.

Go watch Soul because we’re not caricatures or flat, one-note black stereotypes.

Go watch Soul because it actually has an important message on one’s passion and purpose in life that I refuse to spoil here.

Go watch Soul because the trailers DON’T actually give away the plot and the movie’s genuinely better the trailers.

Go watch Soul because you bet your ass corporate’s gonna blame low numbers on the film having vast majority black characters and try to stop this kinda movie from ever happening again.

Go watch Soul because judging the entirety of a movie before it even airs based on the freakin’ trailer (which is hardly ever actually put together by the creators of the film itself and is more tied to the marketing department) instead of the actual film itself is an incredibly ignorant thing to do.

Go watch Soul and form your own opinion instead of jumping on a woke bandwagon.

Hey I'm happy that Twilight is coming back but I can never get over the fact that Stephanie Meyer thought it was a good idea to write in that the werewolves have to cut their hair or else their fur would be long & shaggy to maintain.

As if most Native Americans literally don't cut our hair for spiritual reason. We literally believe it's an extension of our spirit. Its painful to cut, it's the evaqulant to cutting out your soul.

That's why we literally only do it when someone dies. Because its to show your mourning. Only to show your love and how much pain you're in.

Not all tribes do this but enough do. I literally went 3 years without cutting my hair once. Some have gone decades.

But naw turn to doggy cut hair regularly. The first set of Native actors they had literally got recasted because they refused to cut their hair. What did you THINK was gonna happen Meyer?

Notice how Booboo Stewart has always had long hair since his Twilight days?
