Hello! 

so we already did a digital pre-sale in January, but there’s been a lot of interest in us doing a physical print run - in that case, we would definitely open up digital orders again and you could snag yourself a pdf then! If it’s happening, the print run and the subsequent reopening of stuff will probably happen sometime in June! 

The first volume of the zine was all fanart, and I think if (Big Big If) we do volumes 2 and 3, they will also be mostly fanart though with some twists and variation on the theme thrown in!

We’ve had a lot of people express interest in getting a physical copy of  Off Duty Vol 1, so we’re just running a quick survey to see if it’s worth us actually doing a print run!

Hello, are orders for physical books still available?

Hello!! So we only did a digital preorder and haven’t done a physical print run yet, but we’re currently in the works of deciding whether it’s worth it to do one. We’re probably going to do a survey or the like in the next couple of weeks, so please continue to watch this blog and our twitter (@offdutyzine) for more information on that!

Preorders are open for the digital copy of Off Duty Overwatch!

Off Duty is an Overwatch fanzine exploring the hobbies and pastimes of the Overwatch crew in their free time. This 35+ page full-colour PDF includes gorgeous finished pieces, a sketch gallery and a special Sombra gallery!

Off Duty is avaliable through Tictail for $8.00 USD; all proceeds will go towards paying artists and funding a print run!

We will open up pre-orders for physical books in the new year if there is enough interest for them; those who purchased the digital copy will receive a small discount!

Hi! This is Secret Future Plans territory somewhat here, but yes, we were planning on doing a couple of other Off Duty ‘volumes’ with variations on themes if there was enough interest in doing so, which there seems to be!

Definitely keep watching this blog, especially closely in March or April!

edit: i realized that i wasn’t especially clear on this, but “we” in this case refers to me (BYZ-ANTIUM) and Helia, the mods of the zine, and not everyone involved in this volume - if we are doing multiple volumes, we’d like as big a variety of artists as possible, so you’ll definitely have a chance to apply and participate in the future!

Hi! We mentioned in this post that we’re going to do try to open up physical pre-orders sometime in late January if there’s enough interest! 

We’re going to do some surveys and stuff in early January, as our digital preorder is winding down, so definitely keep watching the blog for more information on that!

Hey, I'm attempting to preorder the fanzine, but when I add it to my cart and put in my country and state, which is the US, it shows 'Unfortunately Off Duty Overwatch does not ship to this country or state.' Then I am not able to go any further in the checkout process. I'd really love to preorder this, so any help would be really appreciated!

Hi! Sorry about that - we’re still learning the ropes with tictail and figuring out how it works.

>SECOND WIP ILLUSTRATION DEADLINE: 11:59 PM EST, September 20th, 2016

>FINAL ILLUSTRATION DEADLINE: 11:59 PM EST, October 30th, 2016

>PREORDER WINDOW: Early November - Late November

So it’ll take a little longer to roll these out than we initially said; we’re sorry that it’s going to take a bit more time, but all this waiting means you’e also going to get a much higher quality product!

Off Duty Zine Status Emails

Hey everyone! I don't think we actually specified this yet, but if you are an artist who applied, you will get your answer regarding if you are in the zine or not by JULY 26TH, 2016 instead of on the 22nd due to the deadline extension. 

Everyone who applied, regardless of whether you got in or not, will get a reply!

What shenanigans does everyone get up to when they’re given some time to rest and relax? Come find out!

If you’re an artist interested in participating, please fill out this form  by July 20th! Depending on the response, we’ll either have one artist per character or two artists per character; please do get your submissions in and we’ll let everyone know the plan as it develops!

We are going to have digital copies up for sale for sure, and depending on interest and pre-order numbers, we can possibly do a print run!  Pre-orders will start sometime in early September.
