about the group
On the first of January, Dove Ent released the first episode of their variety show called Taking Flight. On the program, the 10 trainees chosen battled to make the cut and become part of the four-member girl group that the company was debuting in October of that year. During the program, of which an episode a week was released, the ten girls participated in cool activities and events to let their fun personalities shine, such as arts & crafts, random dance challenges, traveling, or even sky diving. Every fortnight, a song, plus a dance practice for it as well, was released at the end of the episode, each track written, produced, and put together by the girls themselves. At the end of every month, the company reviewed the songs and dances the girls put out, and the member they deemed the weakest was removed from the program, although they were free to remain as trainees. By the end of June, 6 people had been kicked, and the final lineup of HaH was born!
On the 13th of October, HaH (which stands for Half a Heart) finally made their debut on M Countdown, with the member's Jay, May, Nancy and Cat, and the song "Lovely In Hell," which won them their first win exactly one week later, on Music Bank. The girls had spent the months leading up to their debut bonding, having fun and training, while they documented everything on Taking Flight, as well as also still releasing a song and dance every two weeks, much to the delight of their fandom, Hearts.
