Welcome back to the Offical Oxford Dictionary!
That's right, it's back. This dictionary is new and improved and ready to define anything your heart desires, but first, some ground rules and notices.
1. When submitting a word, only submit one word per ask.
2. There is no limit to how many asks you can send per day but any words that have already been defined will not be defined again and if you send a ton of asks at once they may not all be defined on the same day.
3. NSFW words are allowed to be submitted but may not be defined if deemed too vulgar or if the moderator of this dictionary is uncomfortable defining them.
4. When you submit a word, it is not guaranteed to be defined, the moderator reserves the right to leave any submission unanswered without explanation.
5. Any words that have been defined on the old dictionary (@oxford-dictionary-offical) do not count as already defined here. For example, the word "defenestrate" has already been defined on the old dictionary but, if chosen or submitted, can still be defined one time here.
6. Do not spam the same word in the submissions. If your word has not been answered, the moderator probably hasn't gotten to it yet.
7. Instead of a Word Of The Day, this new and improved dictionary is goung to do Word Of The Week due to the moderators change in schedule.
The tagging system for this dictionary is as follows:
#officalverse, #oxford dictionary - any and all posts
#word of the week - all posts about the word of the week
#submitted word - any post about a word that is submitted
#found word - any posts defining a word or words found in a post, this tag will be followed by a number representing the amount of words defined
#not definition - any posts that are not related to a definition
