I have a headcanon that Tony and Steve had a bet going on who Natasha would end up with. Tony was betting on Clintasha because he assumed they were already together and Steve was betting on Brutasha because he saw something there. And that’s why at the farm, Tony insisted they were all agents; because he didn’t want to lose a bet to a very smug Steve.
