To members of the Quiverwood High community,
As many of you know, the Quiverwood Gazette has been a beacon of despair, intelligence, and animosity for years since the Great Technology Purge of Before Era. When our benevolent and forgiving leader, Mayor Savina Digby, saved the greater Glummingbury area with her steadfast approach to curing the Glitching Sickness in the town by implementing a complete overhaul of all Insignificant Tec, she graciously bestowed upon Quiverwood High School a collection of printing presses and a complimentary family of printing spiders to help with production. This printing press and collection of printing spiders worked tirelessly to bring the latest news and announcements to the students, faculty, and Shadow People of Quiverwood High for over a decade. Through libel controversies, false accusations of corruption cover-ups relating to school officials, and an investigation into the treatment of Quiverwood Gazette Spiderfolk and assisting students, the paper has continued to serve this school vigilantly and without mercy.
Due to circumstances that shall remain undisclosed at this time, the Quiverwood Gazette Newspaper has been discontinued as of immediately. We want to encourage students to reserve themselves from spreading rumors regarding this decision, as the deans of each tier have been given explicit instructions from The Principal to send every student caught gossiping to the basement of bloodworms as punishment. That being said, Quiverwood High has been given explicit permission from the mayoral office to engage with Insignificant Tec to ensure the ever growing prosperity of the educational system that the Quiverwood Gazette set into place a decade ago and upheld for all its years of operation within the campus.
This blog will serve as an online continuation of the Quiverwood Gazette Newspaper, operating under a new name of Official Quiverwood High. Knowledge and awareness of the campus is a top priority at Quiverwood, which is why students and faculty have been given the direct privilege to carry an altered version of a cell phone to keep up to date with the latest Quiverwood and, by association, Glummingbury news. Those with clearance will be notified of when and where they can pick up these altered cell phones within a few hours of this letter being posted. Please keep an eye out for the green seal in your personal mail boxes in the campus post office.
One last thing, following the posting of this letter, a single, prior-chosen Quiverwood student will be made The Handler of this blog. The student handler of this blog will remain anonymous for their own protection per Quiverwood Handbook (QWH) Amendment XLII (see QWH.A Page 112 for more information). Any attempts to expose The Handler will result in immediate expulsion into the void.
Thank you, and remember, Go Eyes!
Signed,
The Quiverwood Administration.
