I know my blog hasn't been around that long. I just want to take a moment and spread some love and positivity to all my followers and those I just follow! You guys are AMAZING and talented people. It's a joy to see you all on my dash. I have amazing threads going already even though just a few but I would love to get more going. I want to get to know you all. This fandom has been the best and so open to me! I know my muse is an original character but you all took me in no matter what. You have no idea how much that means to me. I love all you guys, don't stop being amazing!

@shcstough : OMFG Taylor you're an amazing person. I know we have recently just started talking and writing together but I already call you a friend! Your so talented and you bring Joyce to life. I love our threads together so much. Daniel loves Joyce like a sister and would do anything for her.

@demodcg : You have a special place in my heart! You have had my back from day one girl. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be here, thank you so much for putting up with me. I love Dart so much and Daniel would die for him.

@trustcop : You're one of the best Jim Hoppers on tumblr. I know we just started role-playing but I'm having a blast! I hope to do so much more with you.

      wow. low blow, kid. she felt a pang of guilt run through her and for a moment, she considered it, but jim was trusting her with his little brother. she wasn’t about to blow it just because he was CUTE….right ? ❝ and you’re supposed to be the not-annoying hopper. ❞ she gave him a teasing poke in the stomach. ❝ besides, sleep is IMPORTANT, mister. how else are you gonna get taller than jim ? ❞

      Oh no, she was going to make him go to bed anyways. Jim had entrusted her to watch over him. He had to change her mind, just this once.  Unlike his big brother he had a different bond with Joyce. She was like the big sister he never had.   “--- Lame, I thought you were supposed to be this kick ass big sister?”  He shot back in a playful manner. A small chuckle coming from him as she poked him in the stomach. “Sleep can wait, please? Besides I’m the better looking brother. How can you say no to these looks?” He gave a another grin. He had heard that line come from his big brother once before.  “Please, please, please!” He repeated over and over. Chocolate brown eyes begging, and just for effect Daniel gave a slight pout.

I can see Daniel’s parents with a very concerned Jim coming into Daniel’s room to find Daniel moved from his hospital bed and the room in a violent mess. Not knowing the close by is very angry mindflayer that wasn’t his body.

He said, through excitement, eyes carefully watching Daniel. The movements of the male made Dart’s lips curve into a grin, but also. They made Him want to scream. He felt like throwing the covers off the other. Why, was Daniel being so difficult.  He let out a small Hiss, as fingers curled around the bed sheets, giving a swift tug. .He didn’t know why the humans wouldn’t be eating the minute Christmas Morning began. If it had been Dart, he would have gotten dinner ready at 3 am. 

Soft features snapped into a snarl, like a child having a tantrum. And climbed onto the bed with the other. Pressing knees into the bed frame, he flung his body over the other male. He may not be able to eat for awhile, but there were still presents in the living room. Ones Daniel had bought for him, and Dart had managed to get for Daniel as well.

❛  Get up, Daanny!    We can still open Presents.  ❜

He felt as the covers were torn from his body and the weight of Dart’s body fall on top of his own. He gave a slight grunt from the sudden movement. Brows furrowed in irritation, arms went to wrap around the demogorgon’s waist and flipped their positions on the bed. Daniel now hovered over Dart, his expression wasn’t happy.   “You're a rentless little shit aren't you? I’m trying to sleep, Dart. Thanks to you that’s not going to happen.”   He could strangle the male at times, this was one of them. Yet, he HAD promised when morning came presents would be opened. Expression softened as he leaned in kissing the male on the lips before pulling back with a sigh.    “Presents it is.”

     “--You could technically let me stay up one more hour.” He was stalling for time. He didn’t want to go to sleep, bad things seemed to happen when he slept. A sly grin formed on his lips.   “I mean my mom and dad aren’t home. C’ mon Joyce you’re the cool one remember?” He was begging. He knew Jim would make him go to bed but he Joyce was more to letting him get away with things.

His tiny form TREMBLED and it wasn’t from cold. It was happening again wasn’t it? Fear radiated from the boy. Lips trembled, arms crossed over his frame. He wanted to go home. He KNEW this place wasn’t a nightmare even though he was asleep. He had been here many times and it always ended the same, running from the monster.  “---Please, just let me go home.” His voice wavered slightly. Tears brimmed close to falling.

Monsters aren’t real. That’s what any parents would tell their child before putting them to bed right? Children are supposed to be safe while sleeping, just harmless nightmares. Daniel wasn’t a normal child, when he slept, his dreams could be good or bad. Those dreams would come true during his sleeping state even his nightmares. That’s what they supposed to be just nightmares. Yet, that kind of power in a child could draw out something evil. Before anyone ever knew of the upside down, Daniel lived it. The shadow monster (mindflayer) was drawn out, when it felt the power the boy possessed. A living body it could take, put the child into a coma state. One morning his parents found Daniel to unresponsive to waking up, he was taken to the hospital. Were later on the doctors couldn’t find the reason behind it, the boy was healthy. All they knew is that he was in a coma and no one knew if he would wake back up. After a serious of tests, and confusion later, Daniel’s parents were able to take Daniel home. The mindflayer wanted the boys body and more importantly the power Daniel had.  Before Will, before everything that lead up to what has happened in Hawkins. It was happening with Daniel, only years earlier. This went on for months, and strange things would happen around Daniel’s room. It wasn’t until the Daniel’s parents reached out desperate to find out what was wrong with their son that Dr. Brenner stepped in, helping the family find out what was happening. All the while Daniel was hiding and fighting to stay away from the monster that wanted to take him over. It wasn't until they found what they were up against that action was taken. Daniel had to find his way back to his body and out of the upside down before the monster got him. He was lead back with the voice of Dr. Brenner but not without a fight from the monster.

(Just a little backstory, yes.)
