For the first time in two years I have a tv in my room and my xbox is connected and I started to play Dragon Age Origins and I'm so in love with Allistar it may be an issue. Cries a lot. I should sleep.

Uhura wasn’t a killer, but here she was, with deep crimson stained on her hands. And only inches away a man she feared, who laid silent and stiff on the ground. 

It was self defense! He had frightened her, became aggressive. She should have reached for her phaser. Set it on stun and keep shootinguntil he became numb. But her phaser was out of reach and her only defence was the mask hanging on the wall of her private quarters.

So she grabbed it, just in case. She had hoped to reason, but it fell on deaf ears to his hostility.

She hit him with it. And again, and again…until he fell.

Until the crematic of the mask broke.

Falling to the ground herself, her eyes couldn’t help but stare at her fingers. The same fingers that crafted sweet music.
