this is my official hiatus notice. with it being my last semester in uni with two research-heavy majors, schoolwork has taken more out of me than i anticipated. in about two weeks i’ll be able to be online and do replies as usual but from now until further notice, if anything gets written, it will be queued rather than there being a mix of immediate posts and queued replies.

an exchange ? that caught his attention. caspian was willing to part with this dagger. he was not going to use it and has no plans of doing so. " what kind of exchange are you offering?" he asked. " i mean you do not have to do such a thing." caspian did admire the dagger before placing the shiny dagger on her hands.
it was a weapon that was a present to him given when he was crowned. he just places it on the shelf of treasures he calls it. caspian was so surprised by his gesture. she was so friendly.
╰ ˟ ⊰ ━━━━ ✧ THERE IS A BRIEF MOMENT OF HESITATION ; a small inhale before she lets out a quiet laugh. she is the embodiment of chaos ━━ of mischief && nearly everything in between. above all, however, she is a loyal && tenderhearted friend. ❛ a fair exchange, i promise you. ❜
aveira waits not a moment longer before slipping her hand into her boot && unsheathing a dagger of her own. its blade is sharp && its handle encrusted in rubies. a gift from a friend who no longer was. she thinks it only just to pass it along. ❛ a dagger for a dagger, my friend. what do you think ? ❜

the prince looked up. he was having doubts about himself and what he can do.
he can sense the fear and worry from her. caspian then looked at the decorations that were on the wall. " being well this. a prince? i , i never even believed i had royal blood in me since i was not raised here." he says. caspian looked down upon his feet.
all of these people are counting on him, to be their leader, but he feels like maybe someone else could do better. " i bet someone out there was a better candiate than i am." the prince did want help, maybe he should ask her for assistance. his dark eyes then look up at his friend.
╰ ˟ ⊰ ━━━━ ✧ A MOMENT OF SILENCE PASSES THROUGH THEM. she considers what he says, his fears && concerns every bit justifiable. but, she disagrees.
aveira knows doubt very well. she once wore it like it cloak, day && night. it was once a shield ━━ protecting her from hurt && disappointment. now, she knows better. now, she knows she cannot allow her friend to live with such a thing. ❛ no. ❜ a simple word said with great edge.
she lets a moment pass before shaking her head. ❛ you cannot think that way, caspian. ❜ there is the slightess hint of desperation behind her voice as she shifts closer to him. ❛ you are prince for a reason ━━ there is not a person that can take that from you. ❜

╰ ˟ ⊰ ━━━━ ✧ A HONEYED SMILE GRACES HER LIPS. she dips into a low curtsey, hair the color of midnight gently sweeping over her shoulders. ❛ your grace. ❜ the sweetness of her voice matches that of her smile. when permitted, aveira stands up tall && loosely folds her hands in front of her. there is a regal aura about her ; from the way she carries herself with such grace to the pink flush of her cheeks && the glimmer in her eyes. she is a soft silhouette but beneath it all lies a will && determination that could level cities. a spirit made of want && desire. the crown that sits atop her head is every bit earned, even if it was suddenly left behind by her parents. a fine QUEEN she has turned out to be. but what kit was doing so far from the comfort of his own kingdom, she did not know. ❛ i must admit, your arrival has surprised me. take this to no offense ━━ my doors are always open to you ━━ but i hardly believe you just so happen to be passing through. ❜
