It was by pure chance that Tobias had ended up in Portland; nor had he intended to stay, not so long as his family remained out there somewhere. Three years ago today he had been separated from his sisters, when another group descended on their camp bringing anarchy and chaos in their wake. Since that day he had been determined to do whatever means possible to find them again. And if that mean sticking around in Portland long enough to gain the trust of those around him then he would do just that. He hadn’t planned on coming to like the place, let alone enjoy the company of a couple of it’s occupants. That had been an accident. Distracted by these thoughts the male failed to recognize the figure that now lurked in the doorway, light streaming in around their darkened form. “You gonna’ say something or stand there in silence all afternoon?”
