"I wore a shirt!" Sonarë told him, smiling brightly.

Merry looked toward the Maia, a small grin coming across his lips. “That’s great.” He noted with a small laugh.

"It actually was very uncomfortable, and I'm never going to wear one again." With that, Sonarë grabbed Merry, pulling him into a hug. "I missed you..!"

Aulë began to rearrange the objects around his anvil as the other spoke, feeling free to continue working around him instead of ceasing. “People do come to me, I do get visitors, but it’s usually for people who need something from me. Being the vala of crafts I can create innumerable amount of things and It’s been useful for a great deal of people. I’ve been visited by lots of lost creatures and sorts, but very rarely do they come because I’ve been missed.” he chuckled, though it was a sad sort of chuckle from the humble hearted vala. “And thank you for the compliment. I do try my hardest no matter what I’m making, whether they be armor for the cavalry or scissors for the weaver.”

"That sounds… quite sad really." Sonarë sighed, and shook his head at Aulë. "I don't get that problem since the only thing I hold any power over is freshwater. I think the only reason someone would come to me for something was if they needed the waters to be a little calmer around the rapids than they are usually. Besides that…" The Maia shrugged his shoulders slightly, releasing a breath. "It's wonderful to know that you do your best on a pair of scissors. I'm sure whoever got a pair of those from one such as yourself would be overjoyed with them."

As she floated through the water she noticed something on the bottom. An unusual shape, seemingly just a waving green water plant, imbedded in something softer, lighter. Aneleth used gentle hand movements to stay in place against the water flow. She took another gasp of air before diving down to see what it was. 

On the bottom, in the a bed of fine white sand, she distinctly saw a face, with deep dark eyes staring straight at her. Startled she trashed her arms, disturbing the sand and that instantly made the water cloudy.

A silent scream made large bubbles that escaped her mouth as she swam off to a rock nearby. Pulling herself up, she coughed and cleared the water from her nose and eyes. What was that… A dead body lying decaying in the depths of this stream? It was unlikely for it had appeared to stare at her, actual intelligence. Since nothing came up to get her, and above water nothing was out of the ordinary. Aneleth could not resist her curiosity. Her breath slowly resumed to normal, though her heart was still pounding nervously in her chest. She allowed herself to be carried by the flow to the spot where she had just seen… something.

“If it is a dead body, then it is nothing that will harm me.. and if it wanted to harm me, it would have done so already.” She said aloud. A robin at the edge of the stream, taking a bath looked up at her. She took a breath and dove down again, trying to stroke back her hair that was limiting her sight. The sand had settled down again and the water was again clear enough for her to see.

The level of surprise that this female had shown had Sonarë blinking slightly, as her panicky movements took her away from him. What had he done to make her so surprised? Did he look that odd? The Maia looked down at himself, lifting a hand to brush it over his green tinted skin, before shrugging. Oh well. He had been told it was polite to apologize to those you frightened- so slowly, he moved, bracing his feet against the sand, and stood. Walking along the river bottom like it was no problem at all, he was about to climb into the shallows and reveal himself- when he heard the distinct sound of the stranger getting back in the water.

Odd.

Walking towards her kicking feet, he saw her pause over the spot where she had seen him, before diving down, presumedly to see his form again. Sighing, he pushed himself up from the bank, his head breaking the water above, and swam towards her, lightly brushing a hand over her back to alert her to his presence.

Ossë huffed his agreement as he followed after his little brother, stepping through the doorway. Curiously he took a deep breath, only to force it back out quickly and crinkle his nose; it smelled like the time he’d stuck his head into a jar in the kitchens and had his first sneeze. Everything was so sugary here.

"In the future, I’ll bring you things from my Elves," he muttered softly, not wanting to draw attention to them both from the shopkeep and other patrons. "No need to barter, and no trips to these cities." Surely Cirdan would spare him some treats for his sibling, after all.

The look that Sonarë gave his brother was one of absolute joy, as he grabbed him, hugging Ossë tightly, a laugh escaping his lips. "That sounds wonderful!" He told the elder, pulling away, ignoring the odd look he got from the shopkeep and his customers. "You can visit me even more then!" Pushing some of his hair from his face, he glanced around, nibbling the inside of his cheek. Now that he had a moment to look around.. there were so many sweets. "Will you get me anything I want?.."
