She knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but it could be fun. “As long we don’t burn the kitchen.” She joked.
He just laughed at that. “That’s why we have the internet, so we can’t burn anything down.”

She knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but it could be fun. “As long we don’t burn the kitchen.” She joked.
He just laughed at that. “That’s why we have the internet, so we can’t burn anything down.”
stormwvrnings‌:
“So, you know I’ve been doing some thinking.” Charlie said, resting his elbow on the table in front of him, chin resting in his open palm. “And for the next ball the theme should be Carrie. You know, the book or whatever.” Smiling he shrugged, “to keep up with tradition.” The ghosts mind wasn’t in the same state it’d been in before he died and Charlie found himself not caring much about the entire ordeal. He was just happy to have a few extra ghosts running around town.
“Why? Why on earth would you want anything to be Carrie after what happened?” Robert frowned at the ghost in front of him, there was something new, ghosts. Weird.
jxliabrooks‌:
“I don’t know. I guess I should have followed my gut.” She thought it was just anxiety being around many people, but at the time she still didn’t feel right. “I didn’t want to be there, but yet I still went.” She shrugged. As least she only had a patch on her neck. She could have gotten way worse things. “Glad you didn’t go?”
“I wouldn’t say glad, it’s just not my type of thing and Sarah was exhausted from work so we decided to give it a miss.” He shrugged his shoulders.
sarah-shakespeare‌:
“Yes we do.” She chuckled as well. “Since we’re talking about staing… Do you think I should cook more often?” She asked after all they would eat in the same restaurant over and over again.
Robert raised a brow when she asked if she should cook more often. “It’s your choice. We’re both usually too tired to cook. Maybe moving here, we could give it a try?”Â
vamp-delacy‌:
“It comes with my position.” She said not wanting to dwell on what had exactly happened. Hearing him ask about the death toll made her clear her throat. “It is not something I wish to discuss. There were a lot of lives lost and I do not want it getting out further.”Â
“Oh fair enough.” He nodded his head when she said that she didn’t want to discuss the death toll, understandable. ”Well, the gym is open to you until further notice.”Â
nurse-isa‌:
“I just wanted to make sure, since I was hearing generalized statements.” She nodded as he continued to speak. “You have a good point and I wish these vampires would have protested outside of the borders instead of subjecting innocents to something so horrible. I apologize for having not been able to prevent what had happened.” The regent apologized though she had not caused or done any wrong in this situation. However, Isa felt the weight of her species on her shoulders. “Could you point me to your injured, so that I may care for them?”
“Yeah, you will. Damn shame.” Robert shook his head at the entire thing. “I wasn’t here, but I imagine how frustrating it will be, all being put in the same category because one group is unhappy.” Then he moved and pointed out some people waiting for medical attention on the camping beds scattered throughout the gym.
danicacaspian‌:
She waves off his words, not wanting anyone to focus attention on her.  “It’s fine. There are others far worse off than me. Do you need any help sugar?”
“This is true.” Then he looked in the gym. “I guess there’s a few fae in here that could use some kind words from their Founder?” He suggested.Â
kat-rosewood‌:
“Don’t know and I’m sorry but it’s a little too soon for me to want to talk about it.” Kat still felt sick with worry about her friends and heart-broken from Sunny’s betrayal. Right now all she wanted was to get herself patched up and try to forget that wretched night.
“Fair enough, it was just a general question but I get it.” Robert didn’t ask again. “Are you looking for anyone? could be in the gym.”
jxliabrooks‌:
Julia let out a sigh. She already had a bandage on her neck from being bit. “Power or something.” She said. She couldn’t wrack her mind around what happened, and she was still in pain. “I knew I should have never went.”
“Don’t be like that, lass. How were you supposed to know it was going to end like that? No need to be so frightened, you’re safe here.” Robert tried to reassure her.Â
danicacaspian‌:
Danica glanced around the gym, nodding in approval. She stopped by to make sure things were running smoothly. At Robert’s question she shakes her head, regretting that decision as it made the mermaid feel lightheaded. She had lost quite a bit of blood, her neck bandaged. “We’re still looking in to it. Thank you baby for helping out. Sorry to ruin your time with the wifey.”
“As a doctor, Sarah understands.” he chuckled. “She does have a bigger role than me to play in it after all with the causalities.” Robert smiled a bit then pointed to her neck. “That looks a wee bit nasty.”
sarah-shakespeare‌:
Sarah smirked and drank some of her ice tea. “I would never lie to you.” She told him, she knew he wouldn’t had realized that, besides it was a harmless teenager crush. “Of course you did.” He would never leave such thing as a chance. “If I can help with anything just let me know.”
Robert nodded with a smile. “See, this is why we work. We got each others backs.” He chuckled a bit.Â
nurse-isa‌:
“I’m a nurse, so I can see some of the people in the gym.” Isa replied as she approached the man. “It was not all vampires and I will make sure the ones involved are punished justly.”
“No, I figured it wasn’t all the vampires. There’s always a group who will never be happy with the set-up of things. A group of humans often protest just outside the borders against us living here. So there’s that. I know it can’t compare, I wasn’t making a comparison, I was sharing an example.”Â
vamp-delacy‌:
“Thank you for doing that. I appreciate the hospitality.” She said looking at him with a serious expression not sure if it was the time to talk about this. “They did not agree with the boundaries I have set. They would like more freedom to hunt humans and I will now allow for that to happen.”Â
“I see, I see. I’m sorry you have to deal with all that, lass.” Robert was genuine in his tone of voice, “Did many people die? The news hasn’t really said all that much and I wasn’t there.”Â
"I’ve opened up the school’s gym for those who want to take a moment there instead of going home and for triage so the hospital doesn’t get swamped. Such a tragedy, does anyone know why the vampires turned?”Â
sarah-shakespeare‌:
She chuckled when he put his hand over his heart. “Besides you might not notice but many of your students got a crush on you, You’re the hot teacher and that beats any vampire.” She smirked. “Is okay, I also have been busy at the hospital.” She said trying the pancakes. “Parantes don’t like when you give them homework, but I’m sure they will do it.”
Laughing, he shook his head. “Aw come on, now you’re just playing with me. I seriously doubt that any of my students have had crushes on me.” he let out a short scoff. “We’ll see what happens. I order a few things in bulk, just in case.”Â
the chariot: thoughts on astrology?
Bloody hell, I’m too old to believe in things like these now.Â
sarah-shakespeare:
She chuckled at his scare face. “I’m your wife, is my job to massage your ego.” She teased him back. At that point their pancakes and drink had arrived to the table. “This does looks good. I’m glad we manage to have lunch together.” She smiled.
Laughing, he shook his head at her a bit. “Ouch.” He put his hand over his heart now. “Sorry I haven’t been around all that much, prepping for a new term is tedious.” Robert started to eat the pancakes. “Then I had unhappy parents because I asked them to do some school supply shopping.”Â
