This was meant to be a long WHY HAYLEY WAS IMPORTANT IN KING AND QUEEN VERSE but it turned into something else?       @avisplumis  we talked about this but if there is a part I forgot / need to change for a reason just LET ME KNOW.

Hope wanted children and knew that she wanted to be a mother.  She tells Roman that he took GRANDMA from her children meaning at fifteen it was a thought in her head.  When Roman screwed her over it felt like maybe she shouldn’t have kids.  Mentioned in another headcanon I had about the dreams of children calling her mother happen and she swears it isn’t ever gonna happen.

Hope swears she would do EVERYTHING that she can do to NOT have a child. She was taking the pill and using condoms because a CHILD was NEVER going to happen.  She gets a boyfriend in Landon and well,  they clearly have that spark and don’t move forward to that BIG STEP until after Malivore. He agrees to move to New Orleans with her and sometime during 19 / 20 years old Landon asks her to marry him.  The talk of kids is TOUGH and she had to deal with the fact that she feared EVERYTHING about it.

They end up getting married and the protection that Hope was so committed to falls away because for them to have a future,  she would take the step.  It wasn’t like she was DEAD SET AGAINST children from the start just TRAUMA shaped her thoughts for a while.  It takes time for her to go all the way OFF everything that she had set in motion.  The dreams of her future get BRIGHTER and more tailored to them.  It hurts to not have Hayley there to talk with everything.  Hope cries alone in the shower more times than she wants to admit because this was something her mother should be there for,  because she is SCARED of everything that comes with being a parent even.  There is pressure and she constantly is holding her breath waiting for the moment that she stops being able to TURN INTO A WOLF. Having your mother there to hold your hand,  give advice on the best ways to do the little things and remind you to take it easy were things Hope wanted but never thought she would have.

Hayley comes back from the dead when Hope is around 21 / 22 / 23 years old. They never really TRIED for the first kid (But they never did protect themselves either from the chance of pregnancy) . It was a “If it happens, it happens and we will love it if it did but putting stress into it takes the fun out of it.”. Hayley is there for Hope and Hope gets what she was searching for even without her father alive (She misses him).  Finding out it was a SON that they were going to be having lead to one request HENRY.  She wanted his name somewhere in there and Landon didn’t have an issue with that.  (Would have been some version of Klaus’s name but Freya already had that one).  

Hayley was MAYBE the one that tells Hope she could be pregnant the first time and MAYBE the second time around too.

Her SON’S whole pregnancy and his birth is without TRAUMA. There were no witches trying to kill her child  (Like her birth was)  there was no death on her end at all.  Sure,  there was stress because she was LEADING FACTIONS but aside from that?  It as normal as it could get.

Her son is EVERYTHING that she could ask for and it feels RIGHT even when she is EXHAUSTED and can’t even understand how she can move but somehow makes it up in the morning for her son.  Landon suggests another baby sometime after Isaiah was born and Hope does agree with his thoughts,  it likely was the first baby that these two PLANNED on having and were actively trying for. Two kids is PERFECT because they can play together ( Fight in the front yard like a bunch of wolves. ).  Both Hope and Landon didn’t really have ANYONE to lean on that understood the struggles so it made sense to have two kids at least.

Hope doesn’t hide her past from her kids but she also isn’t open to telling them EVERYTHING.  If they ask a question,  she answers it honestly.  Lives by glossing over details of her past when they are younger like her mother did for her. Shows her children that just because they have POWER doesn’t mean they can abuse their status.  

Hayley being there for Hope was helpful.  It took the pain of not having her mother to call in the middle of the night when the baby won’t stop CRYING or when Hope is about to start crying herself.  Hayley gave breaks that were needed,  advice on raising something that NO ONE knows about,  reminds these two that not knowing everything is normal.  Hayley is that voice of reason and while FREYA and REBEKAH could do it?? It’s not the same as having Mama there telling you that your kid can tell when you are stressed,  that you don’t need to read EVERY book on parenting that you can get your hands on.  Hayley there for Landon? I’m sure.  Reminding him that he is doing okay,  that he is going to be / is a good dad to his kids.  Likely was there to tell him to back up for a second when Hope is a cranky mess that wants to actually bite someone.  REMINDS HIM NOT TO OFFER A VEIN TO HIS WIFE WHEN SHE IS PREGNANT because Landon did offer himself up to Hope once in ear shot of Hayley and it is still funny.

Let’s not forget,  Hayley kills the threat to her grandchildren in Roman ( She did tell Hope not to go searching for him herself in the first thread we did there.  “I’ll take care of it.” ).  Has her own issues to deal with coming back from being dead and watching the world around you having changed.  Watching your own child be completely different than the girl that you knew.  Finding out about MALIVORE even.

NOT SURE WHAT THIS IS.  Again,  this started out as a WHY HAYLEY IS IMPORTANT post only to end for it to be something else. I LOVE THIS VERSE SO MUCH.

RAISED BY BEX.

Hope Andrea Mikaelson was given to Rebekah Mikaelson shortly after her birth. Raised to be more like Rebekah in terms of what she likes.  This version of Hope likes clothes,  shoes,  jewelry,  etc.  Never really knew her parents in this verse aside from an odd letter / gift sent to her with a fake name.  She grew up hearing stories about them and knew that one day she would be home.  Hope KNEW that see was a PRINCESS in her own right and that never scared her.  At fifteen,  the threat was thought to be gone and Hope was able to lay eyes on her parents for the first time for real.  She gets a small window of time to be happy before it comes crumbling down.  Hope triggers her werewolf curse,  her parents die for her, and Rebekah is once again left standing to pick up the pieces of a broken girl that has to forgive herself for something she didn’t do.

Hayley died in late January or early February.  Klaus died on or right after Tuesday, February 9.  Hope was FIFTEEN when her parents died and it was the Mardi Gras parade in or close to the final episode of The Originals.  Now,  take that and add 2012+15= 2027 which gives me the year that Klaus and Hayley died.   I got the date of Feb 9th because looking up when Mardi Gras would be in 2027.

The year is  2029/2030 when Hope is seventeen and turns eighteen in may of 2030.  Her twenty-first birthday is the year of  2033

Hope is one of the strongest creature in the world.(That we know of) She is stronger than Freya is even. The only people that will surpass her abilities are her own children. If Hope doesn’t have kids then she will forever be the only tribrid.  (  If Hope has children with a supernatural creature that isn’t a witch or a wolf.  she would still be the only tribrid ).

Hope has been known to have dreams that often tell her about things that are about to come. She never could decode them when she was younger and even now it isn’t something she can easily guess. As a child, she once dreamed of her home burning down and a few weeks later a wildfire happened.   ( In season four,  Hope was shown to have a gift in making art about what was going to happen.  Hope drew things of the hollow before it was mentioned on screen )

When Hope’s magic is uncontrolled, she breaks things and can burn a whole building to the ground in a fit of rage. Her magic is connected to her emotions so in times of stress or fear things shake, burn, blood will come from her nose.   (  This was SHOWN in season five when she yelled at Freya to leave her alone and a fire started around her  )

Hope can’t be compelled by anyone BUT her original vampire. She does like to pretend to be compelled if a vampire tries it.  

Hope is unable to compel an original vampire BUT a low-level vampire that is not a part of the original vampire is game on. She is the original tribrid after all.

Hope believes in free will and tends to give a choice to her sires on everything. Will never take away their right to do whatever they want. Henry was a perfect example of Hope’s want to give him choices. Hope will use her sire bond though to help a newly turned hybrid whenever she can. ❝Feel better.❞ Hope had ordered Henry and he had suddenly felt better.      Her belief in free will changes depending on what is going on.

While sire bonds are rare in vampires, they are not rare in hybrids because every hybrid Klaus sired was loyal to him and put his interest above their own.  

Hayley Marshall-Kenner is the ONLY unsired hybrid that was naturally according. Hope’s blood was in Hayley’s system when she died.

All hybrids that are sired to Hope have to feed on her to complete the transition. This was shown in the show.

As a witch/triggered werewolf/untriggered vampire the way she has to die is generally along the lines of stab wounds, overdose on medications, MAYBE a blood boiling spell but who knows. She generally tends to die to become a full tribrid with her throat cut like her mother’s had been only it is a completely different turn of events.

As a witch/triggered werewolf/triggered vampire, she can not die unless she wills it. True immortal (ALMOST. Hint, Malivore. She jumps in as a full tribrid and she can go bye-bye) Nature doesn’t like things to be unbalanced BUT since they had to have Hope to get rid of Malivore, they can deal with their ‘mistakes’ . White oak stakes can kill her but given that they used the “last one” to kill off Elijah and Klaus, there are none of those left. Granted,  originally white oak was meant for the ORIGINAL VAMPIRES but going with since she stems from one biologically,  it becomes her weekness as well.

Hope NEEDS blood to survive even when she isn’t a full tribrid. Little cups every week do her just fine.  Rare food (not cooked all the way through) such as a rare burger was served to her at the boarding school as she was Hope Marshall. It was done as a special diet that she was on so every week they had to have at least one meal of Hope’s that was undercooked enough that students wouldn’t notice. It wasn’t enough really but it “tamed” her a little so that she didn’t expose herself.

You might be wondering why I say Hope needs blood to survive without being weak even when she isn’t triggered of werewolf or vampire yet but for this, I’m going with the fact that she was born with these traits, born to an immortal hybrid and a werewolf she is bound to show signs of both of them before anyone else would.  

When she becomes a full tribrid, Hope will need to increase her intake of blood to a blood bag a day. She will be able to survive on human food just fine even without blood purely because she is also a witch and a werewolf. Although, if she doesn’t get blood every day, she is more likely to be sluggish, cranky, unable to focus, and magical outbursts tend to happen at unexpected times.  *  Subject to change.

Wolfsbane (Aconitum) the one thing that weakens a werewolf can still be used on Hope BUT only when she has triggered her werewolf side before when she is untriggered it doesn’t work at all.  

Vervain (Verbena Officinalis) is used to weaken vampires and to keep people from compelling them and it can be used on Hope BUT only when she triggers her vampire side.

Here’s the catch for both Vervain and Wolfsbane, Hope can use it for magical spells, has gotten used to it burning like Katherine had in the show so that Hope is able to do blood magic with ease since she heals fast. 

Werewolves that bite vampires produce a chemical that is toxic and will slowly kill them within a day or two UNLESS they have the blood of the Original Hybrid or the Original Tribrid.    (  Seen on the show MANY times  )

Hope has vials of her blood locked away in New Orleans and Alaric has some in his office. Going to get Hope’s blood to save a friend is a noble cause but you better be ready to bleed for the life that is dying because she is done playing nice while everyone uses and abuses her.

Drinking her blood from a siphoner’s point of view is high off the magic that one could spend the rest of their life chasing. Hope has so much magic rushing around in her system that she is pretty much a drug.    

Can still have children after she turns into a vampire. She is nature’s loophole. She also still has magic when she turns into a vampire because she was born with all of these sides and was not created but made.    (  This might be the most “AU” doesn’t make COMPLETE sense ability that she has.  ).   

Hope can make hybrids of ANY kind with her magical loophole blood as long as they are mixed with a vampire so a werewolf/vampire, vampire/witch (So rare though even for her).     * This is more to make fun for plotting and AUs more than anything else.

Her blood is the only thing that can stop Malivore when she is a full tribrid. Her blood was the only thing that stopped Josie from dying at the end of season 1 from a bullet that was made from Malivore.

                                                      Aleister Mikaelson

A chocolate spaniel that turns JET BLACK with magic when he is away from his master for too long. He was found lost in the bayou around the time Hope was seven years old. Hope begged her mother to let him come home with them.  His eyes are a beautiful blue color (Bright blue like Raven’s green). Smart, well trained.

but for my Hope rpers I can say this:

To me, the only painting we saw of hope so far is this one above showing her family so I cannot say which styles she leans on, but it does resemblance what a family portrait was in neoclassicism, the scenery seems staged, I’m sure they didn’t all sit down for her to do this, she is doing it by memory. 

Even the palette seems similar though Hope’s seems tone down.  Which again, goes with neoclassicism 

somewhat dramatic lighting, and a rather clean style, with hard edges and bright primary colors in painting and smooth, highly polished marble in sculpture.

To me, it makes sense Hope would lean to that style, which was meant to be very clinical, down to earth, show the reality as a fantasy but also as it is, no allegories. However, I can also see Baroque in the dramatics of the color and the chiaroscuro (the contrast between lights and shadows). example

the Baroque style was known for the dramatics, sharp edges, use of a very dark palette (in the protestant branch but that is another discussion fam) :

  Some of the qualities most frequently associated with the Baroque are grandeur, sensuous richness, drama, vitality, movement, tension, emotional exuberance.

I think it’s interesting, if my little analysis is right how these two styles are very different, one is dramatic, dark, exuberance, and the other is clinical, light, static. Kind of like representing the turmoil of Hope’s mind and her conflict.

No one is kind to a liar. Hope lied about who she was an addition to that, Hope was a MIKAELSON, something that EVERYONE feared. She never wore her Mikaelson necklace or had anything related to the family at school. NO ONE KNEW WHAT THE MIKAELSON’S LOOKED LIKE so Freya coming to town? Wasn’t ever an issue. Freya could drop by and no one would know who she was. THE TRIBRID BABY was a MYTH until it wasn’t because the child was sitting in SCIENCE class with them.  Suddenly, no one felt safe and no one wants to be friends with someone that MURDERED her mother and father (rumors that she grows to believe more each day).  The twins were the ONLY ones to know she was a MIkaelson from the start but that means nothing when both HATE her.  Alaric acted as if it was ALL Hope’s fault she had no friends in season 1 but really, it was the LIFE that was set up for her. She comes OUT as THE MYTHICAL TRIBRID FREAKSHOW and suddenly, no one cares even more so because they fear her now. Before she had people wanting to talk with her but that was because she kept to herself after it was no one wanted to be KILLED next.  Hope BEFRIENDS people from MYSTIC FALLS HIGH SCHOOL instead, hung out with them and does stupid shit with them like smoking weed and seeing who can jump higher, talk about things that parents shouldn’t know. She has FRIENDS just none at the SCHOOL of people that FEAR her.

Hope sings the Frozen soundtrack to the twins when they were little and stressed. It is also very likely Freya and Hayley sing all of the songs and rotated through them when Hope was stressed out.  If Caroline was the main helper bee when Hope was at the Salvatore school (Of keeping Hope’s identity a secret) it is likely then as well that there was another person that sung songs to her when she was freaking out. It’s also the go-to the movie that she watches when the world is scary and too much for her. Even years later, Hope will turn it on when she is stressed out, curl up with her bunny that she put away at fifteen. She will watch it as many times as it takes for her to fall asleep and it has taken two and a half watches before her eyes closed on really stressful days.

Landon wouldn’t have figured out her secret go-to movie until likely after she got back from Malivore and they started dating again and even then, it wasn’t intentional. He was sworn to keep it a secret. After her parents died, she put things away that were childish but her love of Disney movies. Frozen and the Descendants are the movies she watches during times of need but ALWAYS Frozen first.

                                         Meet Raven Mikaelson, a black cat.

Hope found her, or rather Raven found her after her parents died. It was needing a pet project, something to keep her from drowning. This kitten shows up outside of a dumpster so skinny that it likely wouldn’t survive another day but Hope brought her home, felt called to save her and this kitten lived a week…two…three and everyone was shocked that within a month this skinny starts to put on weight, would sit on Hope’s lap or under her feet during times Freya would teach Hope a new spell to keep her mind away from pain. 

Unnaturally green eyes, a black cat that is said to be evil along with many other superstitions. A cat that would have sooner been dead if not for Hope. Sleeps right by Hope’s head at night and is often not far from her. 

                        Had Raven on my blog before but she was never there in this role before.

Roman took a SHINEY and NEW teenager that believed in LOVE and smashed it with everything he had. He manipulated her, made her feel like she was SPECIAL and then turned on her to please his MOTHER and in the process, her MAMA dies. Yeah, when Landon comes back around, the idea of being NEAR him gives her stomach knots. She STEALS from the school and her brain goes straight for death. KILL HIM BEFORE HE KILLS HER. Roman taught her anyone that LIES, STEALS, LOVES HER will try and kill her. Roman Sienna ruined her ability to trust easily, a thing she had never had to deal with before because her mom and aunts gave her a room full of people that would FIGHT FOR HER and NOT AGAINST HER.  Landon FANCIED her from the GRILL (show seems to forget that Hope used to go for the milkshakes because he was working there. I mean she looked so giddy when he was her server like ugh, cute). They DANCED when she thought she was going to DIE for her family and then, all happiness went away when her daddy died.   Roman took a LIGHT out of her and she gets it back after she spent from FIFTEEN to SEVENTEEN wallowing in guilt and pain. Landon HELPED get her out of her shell, the safety net she found herself in but he didn’t make DEPRESSION + PTSD just GO AWAY.

Beignets.            Hope makes beignets around the holidays and gives them to family and friends.  She used to have them with her father for the SHORT time she had him in her life. Beignets are home in a treat. Hope will have these expressed to her from New Orleans even by one of her aunts.

KIDNAPPING HER MOTHER.       That didn’t happen. Hope did NOT kidnap her mother. She did not put her mama in a COFFIN and call daddy to come back because her mother is missing KNOWING full well WHERE her mother is. No, her BOYFRIEND of SIX MONTHS did that.

CHANGING HENRY INTO A HYBRID.       Still happened but it wasn’t FOR PAYMENT. Hope HATES bullies, she even said that in the show. She changed her FRIEND because he was being bullied. It wasn’t the smartest idea, changing him to a rare species but she wanted to HELP him because Henry was her ONLY friend at the time. The boy that would play with her in the bayou and not let her win because she was the Alpha’s daughter, no he lost because she was GOOD at hiding and seek. Henry’s death still happened but it wasn’t because he was in THE GARDENbeing PUNISHED for helping Hope kidnap her mother. No, he was put into the wall for murdering Poppy in his bloodlust, and a bunch of vampires so pissed off and hating the species backed Marcel into a corner where he had to punish a teenager even for a little while. Henry was TAKEN from the Garden and still strung up, murdered by vampires, and Hope still got to see her ONLY friend DEAD and HUNG up.

HAYLEY’S DEATH.       Was still to protect her daughter from a bunch of people that HATED her tribrid status. She still bound herself to give them what they wanted (even though I hate this. I am trying not to change things that would directly be in line with other characters like Hayley even though most Hayley blogs ignore this too).  Hope still watched her MOTHER die (not really, she still passed out).  She got to see the BOY she trusted become her ENEMY in a blink of an eye. Roman could have gone up against his mother, said no because he “loved” the halfbreed monster that they both hated.  He didn’t love her, there was not a HINT of loving her either.  

THE HOLLOW.         Hope still takes the Hollow into her body knowing it might kill her but she is a fifteen-year-old girl that had LOST her BEST FRIEND, the first eyes she looked into. She still asked Freya for help (Although she would have done it herself).  She still KILLED a room full of N*zi vampires that believed in a PURE species. She still had HELP from her dad to release that ANGER that the hollow fed on.

THE OLD MAN’S DEATH.     Still happened the way it did in the show. Hope killed him on accident when killing those vampires.  She didn’t mean to kill him, he was human and sweet and she met him a few times in passing around time but nothing that stuck with her until after she saw him dead.

ROMAN’S TORTURE.      Happened but Hope was not gentle, she actually went for it.

HOLLOW DESTROYS.      Still happens. Klaus still outsmarts his own kid and takes the hollow into himself. Wheather Elijah and he both die depends on who I am rping with but generally, both of them are dead by the end like in the show.

GOING BACK TO SCHOOL.   No one is kind to a liar. Hope lied about who she was an addition to that, Hope was a MIKAELSON, something that EVERYONE feared. She never wore her Mikaelson necklace or had anything related to the family at school. NO ONE KNEW WHAT THE MIKAELSON’S LOOKED LIKE so Freya coming to town? Wasn’t ever an issue. Freya could drop by and no one would know who she was. THE TRIBRID BABY was a MYTH until it wasn’t because the child was sitting in SCIENCE class with them.  Suddenly, no one felt safe and no one wants to be friends with someone that MURDERED her mother and father (rumors that she grows to believe more each day).  The twins were the ONLY ones to know she was a MIkaelson from the start but that means nothing when both HATE her.   Alaric acted as if it was ALL Hope’s fault she had no friends in season 1 but really, it was the LIFE that was set up for her. She comes OUT as THE MYTHICAL TRIBRID FREAKSHOW and suddenly, no one cares even more so because they fear her now. Before she had people wanting to talk with her but that was because she kept to herself after it was no one wanted to be KILLED next.  Hope BEFRIENDS people from MYSTIC FALLS HIGH SCHOOL instead, hung out with them and does stupid shit with them like smoking weed and seeing who can jump higher, talk about things that parents shouldn’t know. She has FRIENDS just none at the SCHOOL of people that FEAR her.

SELF DESTRUCTION.      Risky behaviors,  willingly to throw her life away for others. Alaric Saltzman doesn’t help by letting her play partner in monster crime. She smokes, she gets high and doesn’t care about others anymore. She doesn’t seem to actually care about her life at all in the show. She fights monsters, kicks ass, never once let others in until Landon.

PTSD + DEPRESSION.   Hope has mental health issues that aren’t shown well on the show. They will be shown more here just like it is shown on my Lizzie blog. It is APART of who she is but it isn’t THE ONLY part of her.

ABILITIES.    Hope’s abilities are not as weak as the show makes it seem like. Just because there is an ability listed doesn’t mean she uses it on your muse, she is very into FREEDOMs.

RELATIONSHIP WITH ROMAN.    This relationship lasted SIX MONTHS in total. So from JUNE of her turning FIFTEEN to DECEMBER of her being FIFTEEN. Roman was her first everything. First boyfriend, kiss, the first time.  He took her sense of SAFETY away from her when he tricked her. He was the FIRST person to say I LOVE YOU that wasn’t FAMILY.

The original SHOW was DARKER, therefore, I’m following suit with things since I can’t see writing about VAMPIRES, WEREWOLVES, WITCHES along with: MURDER, ABUSE, TORTURE, BLOOD without it being more like the ORIGINAL show. Default, Hope is EIGHTEEN years old.  She should be EIGHTEEN years old ANYWAY in the show because she was seventeen in season one anyway.

𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐑:   This is NOT what the show had put down as their relationship but they did call him her boyfriend.  He did help kill Hayley indirectly and it is my decision to fix a writer’s mistake because it is my belief that someone trained to LIE about who she is wouldn’t just trust him with a big secret so soon after meeting him,  after him starting to talk to her.   This is coming from a show that had Caroline in a relationship with a man that was 25 years old when she was still in high school,  that assault is to be swept under the rug.  I UNDERSTAND that not everyone likes this version but I can’t see how she fell so fast even at being fifteen years old and full of hormones that make you do stupid things.  Hope is a survivor of manipulation,  emotional abuse,  deceiving into a physical relationship with someone that she didn’t know the full truth about who he was.  This show RUSHED the final season of The Originals and instead of bringing back someone from earlier seasons that would have a reason to destroy the game (there are a lot of them) they decide to bring in a new group that wanted to off HYBRIDS and TRIBRIDS alike.  I’m fixing the mistake of how I see fit.  Beyond nervous about this headcanon being written out.

Roman took everything from her,  he was that relationship where you go all in thinking the guy is the one to care only to find yourself crying at night.  Roman played her well, was her boyfriend for six whole months and in those months she gave him whatever he wanted.  The sweet and innocent girl gave him her heart and soul.   He was her first everything in a relationship and when it was all said and done,  she didn’t even have her mother to hold her and promise that relationships aren’t meant to be like this.  ❝𝐌𝐘 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐒 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐀 𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐘 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐕𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑.❞  She jokes about him because how do you tell someone that you thought he was the one because he made you feel like a princess?  That he got inside her head and made her feel like she were special only to have him turn on her?  She kissed him, slept with him, promised him forever long before she said the words    ❝𝐈'𝐌 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐀𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍.❞  He knew who she was before she told him thanks to Ric Saltzman’s file on her.

Hope was not raised to just let her guard down for a guy she has known for less than a month.   ❝𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋. 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋.❞  She was drilled to learn that was the name she answers to, no one is to know you are the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson. Hope wouldn’t go tell some vampire that broke into her dorm room and made her all fuzzy and warm that she was a Mikaelson unless she had thought to have known him.  five months and two weeks into a relationship is when it comes out and it is by her coming to New Orleans,  showing up on her balcony in the middle of the night and by then her proved to be trustworthy and when he hands her a Christmas gift early long before he was done,  it was as if he was worthy of her secret.

Henry Benoit was Hope’s FRIEND,  her only friend at a school full of people that thought she was JUST A MARSHALL.  Henry held her hand,  kissed her cheek and pulled out chairs for her because Lisina WANTED Henry to go to a KID and most likely sent him there to be friends with Hope and keep her safe because she was the QUEEN’S KID.  Henry was most likely meant to be there to keep Hope’s secret safe,  to be her friend and because Henry was soft there was no worries he would try and power grab from her.  Henry was BULLIED to the point he wanted to DIE and Hope offered him an option that would bite them both in the ass but it was better then DYING for real.  Hope offered him a chance to be a HYBRID and be stronger then the wolves,  who in Legaices you see beat the CRAP out of people and force them to SUBMIT to their Alpha.

When Henry died for real,  Hope could point out EACH of the wolves in a crowd and she went ahead and BEAT them into submission but even then she never took the Alpha tilt, she just beat them until they had to go to the nurse because they HURT her friend,  making him want to die and got away with it.

HENRY WAS SUICIDAL AND THE ADULTS DID NOTHING.

Now imagine after Hayley is gone, it’s just Freya really being the main support system.  Imagine going to your aunt and crying in her arms that you had wanted to die, that you had slept with someone that lied you wouldn’t feel like this if you had listened to your mom and waited on the physical until you were sure things would have been different.  That you are so unsure of everything in life.  Hope holds it in and like a victim of abuse blames herself.

If you hadn’t been so easy to manipulate if you had waited to have sex if you had been stronger no one would be dead right now. If you hadn’t liked him your mom would be downstairs making breakfast and not Freya. YOU killed your PARENTS.  

Trusting ANYONE including family is now seen as a curse,  as a way to kill them so what does she do?  She shuts her mouth,  is distant and does what she has to do to survive.
