me: Listen, there are a great many different types of force users and cultures out there, and kylo ren is Not a sith. he was trained as a jedi and then fell to the dark side. he is a part of the knights of ren and that is why he is called kylo ren. sith lords traditionally take the title darth and follow the sith code, whereas dark or fallen jedi may still feel a strong affinity to the light side and may be openly conflicted about their use of the dark side. they are jedi who have /fallen/ and who did not join the sith. this distinction is extremely important and the best previous example may be asajj ventress, who is a dark jedi, whereas count dooku was a sith lord. he took on the name darth tyranus when he left the jedi. this is honestly a very simple explanation and i recommend further reading and research into the history of the force, its users, and the different factions that study under it. there will be a test on friday if you wish to continue speaking to me.

████ I am so FUCKING tired of hearing shit about Kylo’s character in TFA being some punch ass, fucking emo kid, with emotional daddy-problems. If anybody actually took a second and looked into the story a little further, one might know that HE WAS BEING WATCHED his entire goddamn life. Hell, they even said that in the movie. Snoke is the ass behind it all, who corrupted his mind and turned a normal kid into a puppet. He was used to do the bidding of an evil being, so fucking corrupted by the dark side that all he saw in Ben Solo was the potential to twist his head and point his power in whatever fucking direction he wanted. And you know what? I guarantee that Ben had NOBODY to go to in his youth. Could he go to Luke? Fuck no. You know why? Because he probably figured anybody he opened up too would presume he was some sort of six year old fucking satanist. Kylo Ren has been nothing but afraid and seduced his entire life. And in result, he is the STRONGEST and the most ENDURING character I have ever seen in a Star Wars movie.
You underestimate the power of the Dark Side.
he’s actually in pain - force or no force
#can I be honest here and say this is one thing I actually really admire about this character? #He . Does. Not. Stop #hit after hit after hit this guy just keeps going. He pushes and pushes himself #he’s got so much fight in him #he’s not invincible #he’s not invulnerable #he’s very much human and very heavily injured and at this point in the film he’s also emotionally compromised #distressed and in pain but he forces himself to keep moving #even though he’s fighting the heroes #the people we should be rooting for#I cant help but root for him a bit too… just for still being on his feet and still proving to be a challenge for them. #good or bad I just admire characters who keep getting up in a fight. who dont give up no matter how bad of a condition they’re in #to top it off he actually USES his pain #im sorry but seriously calling him weak or a punk bitch is fucking laughable #imagine him in a perfectly healthy state at full power. #this boy will wreck you
