That being said, I will be sticking to the portrayal of Lestat that SAM REID brings to life in the AMC series, INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE. There will be heavy references to the second and third book in the TVC series, THE VAMPIRE LESTAT, and THE QUEEN OF THE DAMNED within my writings. I will also add in THE TALE OF THE BODY THIEF upon request but I tend to leave that separate till we see this happen in the show.

⟢ 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓! I portray every era of Lestat's life and tend to keep it all in a consecutive order. Every era will have a different type of Lestat that he projects to the public. For example, Paris Lestat is ENTIRELY different than NOLA Lestat and rockstar Lestat. When sending prompts / starters you can either specify which Lestat era you'd like to interact with, or you can leave that up to me and I will surprise you.

Hey guys! Just officially signing off here till after June 7th! I most likely won’t be back officially till after June 10th for roleplaying, but I’ll be back to talk about the episode on June 7th after I’ve watched the ep for myself! I just CANNOT be spoiled! I am so excited for this holy shit it’s something I’ve been waiting so impatiently for since I started this TVC journey. TVL is my most beloved book out of the series and it’s been an absolute pleasure to be in this fandom. 025, an empty balcony while a party goes on inside.

𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒, 𝐁𝐀𝐑 𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐀𝐑 … it all began to look the same, feel the same. Though he craved the limelight and the endless attention from every angle, 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐕𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓 was feeling... homesick.

Nostalgia ran through his Godlike frame whilst a heavy heart weighed down his feet that near dragged across the penthouse floor. Thumping rave music pound into his ears and beat against his heart, seemingly bewitching the organ's beat to match the mind numbing 'UNN-UNN-TSS-TSS' that played on a three minute track.

For hours he was the life of the party, drinking and kissing strangers with tongue while grinding and dancing and stealing un petite coup from the various necks of ( extremely high ) partygoers.

Now, he began to sober up at the thought of him. But was there ever a moment his head was free to think of anything else?

He makes it to the empty balcony, sliding the underside of his forearms against the cool metal railing. Cobalt eyes glowing bright from the jarring lights of the great city below. It wasn't NOLA, it wasn't his home. There was a melancholy taste on his tongue.

The wet muscle prods past his pink lips to wet them nervously. A gust of wind glides up the side of the building and cuts through the Rockstar's curls, blowing them back and over his broad shoulders.

There was a sudden preternatural presence behind him that stood in the doorway, he could not decipher if they were a friend or a foe. Friends were hard to come by now a days. Foes were expected.

“If you're looking for an autograph, you're out of luck,” he paused and he turned around, now resting his back and elbows against the railing; chin raising slightly with an air of superiority about him. “I left my sharpie in someone's pants.” He scoffed, knowing full well this creature wasn't here for a fucking autograph.

008, inside an old abandoned house

𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐖𝐒 𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐖 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐋𝐘 in the light of a nearby candle, who's flame ate away at the remaining rose scented wax. The claws danced rhythmically against a flat wooden board which was carved into the likeliness of a piano's keyboard.

Through the small speaker system of an iPad stolen off the body of one of his fledgling's past victims, classical piano music played softly. Filling the musty air of the abandoned home with a sweetness it had not seen in years.

An equally grubby looking creature hunched over this keyboard, rocking back and forth in a rhythm that kept in time with his finger movements. His slick blond hair was damp and slightly greasy, and he wore an old fashioned black robe with golden embellishments woven into the fabric.

He was a moonlight monster, this creature, this guilt ridden thing who played the wooden board like a functioning instrument.

The sudden sound of a floorboard creaking caused him to stop his playing. A delayed and slightly startled glance over his shoulder. Golden curls heavy with neglect dangled off his shoulder.

A mortal, a woman, seemingly stood in his living room doorway out of no where and he did not hear her coming. He was far too lost in the soothing, therapeutic song.

“What is it?” He asked sternly with a hint of caution to his thick, velvety voice. He spoke to her as if she had been a roommate of his, bothering him on his personal downtime.
