“Thanks, I appreciate it.” Thomas replied, sending the woman a small smile. It was becoming more and more easy for him to meet people in Atlanta, although he still hadn’t made too many actual friends at this point. Moving somewhere new was always hard that way, because it was like starting over completely. Thomas sat down in the chair, making himself comfy. “Oh trust me, you can’t be more boring than I am. I go to business school and deal with numbers all day and then usually just go home.”
“Yeah, no problem.” Vanessa replied softly, focusing on the page once more before flickering her eyes up to meet his. “Okay, maybe you do win.” She joked, laughing a little after her comment. “I was an art major, so I was always doing something fun in school. I stopped dealing with complicated math after I graduated high school.”
