“i’m sorry about that, i thought when we got back together he would tame down on hurting people. are you okay?” she chewed on her bottom lip for a moment, worry flashing across her features because she didn’t want isabelle to have any reason to dislike her. violet actually enjoyed the girl’s company. “you’re welcome. i would love some fashion tips from you sometime.” not that she had ever cared before but maybe she could make a bit of an attempt to blend in.

violet looked over at the other girl from where she was. “do you want to talk about it?” she could be a good listener when she was curious about something and now she wanted to know about the other girl.

they’re running. it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that they managed to piss off more people-neither of them knows when to shut up and while violet usually wouldn’t mind standing up and fighting the people, she’s always painfully reminded that stiles is still alive and getting hit can cause permanent damage to him. she’s pretty sure the other people had only landed one hit but that was enough for her to grab his hand and pull him out of the place. of course the people had followed and that’s when the running had started, violet unable to contain a laugh when she was sure that they were a safe distance away. slowing to a walk, she dropped his hand and turned to face him, head resting against his shoulder as she got her breath back (something that’s completely unnecessary but it makes her feel alive). the next action is on impulse, just pressing a kiss to his chest. it lingers for a moment before she takes a step back and shakes her head at him. “you’re an idiot. you know that, right?”

violet simply stares as the woman speaks, lips twitching upward with amusement. “sleep is a good way to pass the time when you’re dead.” is all she can think of to say in response to that. at this point violet felt like she had managed to get her way back to a semi-normal life but that didn’t make it exciting and it didn’t stop her from constantly remembering everything that had happened to the house and there was the fact that she would never be able to get older. she actually let’s out a laugh when the woman hands her the card but there’s no amusement in the sound. “my dad was a psychiatrist and he did a pretty shit job so you’ll have to excuse me if i don’t take you up on the offer.”

violet wasn’t really seen as the type to show any signs of affection (unless you counted teasing the people she enjoyed spending time with). the only person who really got physical affection from her was tate and that was because he was her boyfriend and he still had to deal with all the teasing. silas had helped her though and she figured she owed him something, so she quickly stood on her tip toes and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “thanks.”
