@ogjohngirlpaulmccartney
ian james literally has to be the most silently fucked over figure in beatles history and it's the funniest thing on earth to me bc I simply can't imagine if my fucked up and gay middle school situationship who ditched me for a guy who looks exactly like me then turned out to be one of the most famous men on earth. with that guy. and you helped him pick out his jacket to meet that guy. no one has a disaster gay middle school situationship quite as rough as ian james
and does alec baldwin have anything to say about the new paul song
ringo should do a reaction video when the album drops
this is my favorite mclennon tweet
Paul with Julian, Weybridge, 1968.
Photography by Linda.
JY moved into Kenwood temporarily in November 1968 (Cyn had moved out) and seemingly Julian visited them there. This could be one of those visits. Interesting that Paul and Linda were still making social visits to John and Yoko atp. I think they all socialised together more than is assumed up to about the second half of 1969.
they need to ban people from being funnier than me about Oscars fashion
What if I told you David Byrne had that dog in him?

pls enjoy this clip of paul mccartney trying to kick something for martha and almost eating shit instead
Happy Birthday, Yoko Ono (b. 18th February 1933)
every night the paul mccartney sexuality rabbit hole gives me new beautiful things
I was dicking around on the beatles bible and ran across a party of brian's joe orton went to and met paul at, where they chit chatted back and forth about the proposed 3rd beatles movie they were eyeing him to write. and this party is imo definitely implied to be a gay one just so we're clear
anyway paul said "the only thing I get from the theatre is a sore arse" which. I'm not even getting into that. but followed that up by saying the only play he hadn't wanted to leave early was orton's "loot"
and being that it's almost 2am on a work night I have nothing better to do than read the play and I'm genuinely in tears from how obvious it is why he liked it and I'm not even 10 pages in
the story follows two young boys committing crimes together which is bad enough as is. but you guys will never believe this one. the main character is a bisexual catholic schoolboy whose mother dies and he's very cold about it. I'm not even a tenth of the way through this
ft a really incredible screenshot I'm just enjoying imagining paul mccartney getting hit with 2 minutes into this play and deciding yeah I can sit through this
"Now that the Beatles were in an experimental art phase, of sorts, Epstein thought [Orton] might be the perfect author for the third film. Another reason, actually, is that McCartney was a fan of Orton's work, and had invested a thousand pounds in one of Orton's plays, "Loot." (x)
