It's really up to you if they have this huge high difference of not, or they might be able to change their height to be dig or small somehow. It's all cute in the end, regardless 😘.

A little conflicted at first….
I mean she’s into this tiny thing? How will that even work? How are you going to give her the attention and affection she deserves?
Honestly for this entire thing I’m going to picture you as a mechanic. So you’re close with all of the engines and components, especially since you expertise in the repair and such of electric trains.
That’s how Electra realizes, you can give him everything he wants. You know him very well through all of this, yes he has Wrench, but since there are official check ups (much to Wrench’s dismay) you do get to know him very well.
In the end he’s the one that confesses to you and such. You’re a bit surprised due to him being a giant train, but hey he’s hot as fuck so you say okay and you just kind of deal with him using you as a small stuffed animal.
Just because you’re so small to them, that doesn’t mean that you will manage to get away from their affections. They’ll give you just as much as the rest, even if it’s a bit difficult for them.
Wrench
Surprised at herself that she fell for a human, then again the way you work makes her kind of just stare longingly. She is surprised and then notes she shouldn’t be surprised.
Either way would keep quiet about it for a very long time, after all Wrench doesn’t really know how to go about this. She doesn’t know if you’re into huge anthropomorphic trains.
As well is not the person to ask you for things like that, because it’s none of her business and also there’s no way to subtly do that really. Eventually to ‘get rid of her feelings’ she decides to just throw it out.
And then you end up actually accepting her feelings??? Okay not what she was expecting, but she is certainly not complaining about it. It’s kind of a learning curve for her as she has no idea where to begin with a human.
But Wrench is notorious for being a fast learner. She does actually pick up normal nurse stuff as well so she can properly take care of you as well as the machines that she’s taught to care for.
Just like the rest, her first priority is your health and so by learning about the human body, she might not easily be able to patch you up since it would be like patching something up on a doll. She still manages to figure out how she can help you.
Killerwatt
Really confused. He’s already bad at feelings and now he has feelings for a human. Someone so squishy and… vulnerable. Nevermind he understands now, he just has this big feeling to protect you and he likes feeling useful, so it’s not that much of a surprise
He doesn’t really know what to do with himself though. Should he confess? That just seems like a dumb idea, somehow. He doesn’t know how to explain it, but he just doesn’t know what exactly to do.
I think he will not confess to you, I think you’re the one that has to take that initiative. Otherwise neither of you will most likely get together, but here you are pouring your feelings out to this giant security truck.
He is positively shocked that you would like him like that. Although it was welcome.
From then on he’s extremely protective over you. So just imagine someone trying to go up against you and then this giant anthropomorphic train just suddenly stands behind you, just towering over you and this person, shadowing the both of you.
You get insulted? Oh look a colossal is here to beat their ass. That’s crazy.
Obviously it isn't lethal in it, but he takes his job extremely seriously. It’s about you after all. It’s his entire world.
Volta
She’s always found humans fascinating. They’ve made things like trains and machines with feelings like them and yet they are so…. dumb…? Is that the world for it?
Either way it’s not really a surprise that she takes interest in this human. After all it’s one of the experts on electric trains and they were charming, had an interesting personality as well as their interests. She couldn’t help herself, they had to get to know this caring human.
And to say it simply, she did. She got closer to you and fell for you hard.
He’s kind of annoyed just how easy you made it seem for someone like him to fall for someone, but he guesses he can’t fully complain as it was his own fault getting close to someone so attractive to him.
They’ll deny it for a while though, like a long while. Eventually they’ll realize that this crush isn’t easily shaken and since you’re a human and probably don't think of getting a crush on a train, he’ll just…. get rid of the feelings.
That’s when you actually decide to accept his feelings, which just makes her confused and look at you with a look of disbelief.
Very quickly recovers though, because she scored you as a partner? Good enough for her. She hates feelings and crushes so the fact that’s at least over and can devote herself to you without it feeling weird somehow is perfect for her.
God she hates crushes, you’re hers now though <3 And you can’t do much to make her change her mind.
Joule
Oh this girl would be so into this. Usually she goes for impressive big engines or people that have big personalities and stuff. Her go to in types are usually big and loud or something similar.
That is unless she gets to know someone and even though they’re quiet they’re impressive. And then she meets you and you’re just… so small. Such a lil guy, hi there baby <3
Yeah she doesn’t take you seriously at first, like at all. You’re just so little, you might be good at what you do and she won’t minimize that, but you’re just a little squish, what are you going to do if a big bad engine gets angry once?
And then she once sees you practically wrangle Electra to the mechanic table when they’re once having a temper tantrum with like a lasso almost, just full cowboy style and she- ehm immediately falls in love? Yea.
She falls kind of really hard. Such a small little thing and yet so much spice and strength in a way. Maybe with the help of machines sure, but you are strong. It makes her gush and all.
Unlike the rest though this girl is extremely impulsive and would just almost immediately confess to you, telling you her feelings and not giving a shit if anyone looks weird about it.
Absolutely overjoyed when you say yes and absolutely loves giving you affection even if she has to be reminded to be careful with you sometimes.
Also I hope you’re ready constantly being carried either on her shoulder or in between her tits. That shit is comfortable, it's like a big pillow. Also yall know that sound of “What’s in your pocket?” “Oh it’s Jake :)” that’s you and Joule
Null
Honestly I feel Null would be one of the ones that would be actually kind of shamelessly flirting with you. He really doesn’t give a shit if you’re a human, train or plane for what he gives a shit about.
She’s interested in you and so she’s going to show it, no matter how small you are in comparison, if anything it makes it better for her. Honestly just imagine her laying on her stomach with her legs kicking behind her with a smirk as she listens to you prattle on about your knowledge on certain things.
Honestly you learn to love their company and grow to crave it whenever they’re gone. Eventually the two of you are together and it kind of slips from his lips. They almost immediately slap a hand over their mouth and start rattling off to save themself, but it was too late.
With a dazzling smile you accepted their feelings and the two of you started dating.
Don’t think that just because you’re a human that they will expect any less attention and affection from you than normal. Oh no he’s going to want all of it like always, no matter how busy you are with work.
At least he’s somewhat of a nice distraction sometimes and hey look at the bright side sometimes he actually shuts up while you do your work! It’s a miracle and a blessing all in one :D
Krupp
Would actually be so terrified that he’ll accidentally kill you.
Like he gets a crush on you rather easily and then the moment it sinks in he just pushes it far far faaaar away where you’ll never be able to see it again, because if you two are in a relationship he could misstep and it’d be the end of you.
It wouldn’t be that easy to do it, but he has a danger-ridden mind. Everything that is too much of a certain percentage of danger he won’t allow, he’s an armaments truck after all.
After a bit of coaxing from the others though, he manages to actually confess to you. It’s super stiff and still very unsure, but you welcome him with open arms.
Honestly in the beginning to make him comfortable about it, you jokingly started wearing a cat bell on your belt or on a choker, so he can hear you coming and be cautious. Ironically this helped a lot to lessen his worries.
As well as everytime he now hears the little ring of bells he’ll get super excited and happy as he thinks of you or that you’re near. The rest have teased him endlessly when they see the demeanor change when they’re out and it was some other set of little bells.
You don’t see it easily, but he’s super in love with you and will absolutely protect you till the end. Also I just imagine you sometimes hiding under his hat to do some work or hide from coworkers. I think it’s super cute :]
Purse
Would be under the firm belief that even though he has a huge crush he’ll never admit it to you. That it will never work out, he’s a train, you’re a human, blah blah blah. Just think of every possible excuse you can think of for this and he’ll use it.
Although he does like the fact that he’s bigger. It’s rather funny bc in my head this dumbass sounds like Veneer and so I imagine him doing the whole “I don’t want to kill the little guy.” And so that cracks me up-
Moving on though-
Is one of the most stubborn about not confessing. Honestly you would have to do it and then like assure you want him about 50 more times, because yes you know that he’s a large anthro train, but you don’t care he’s fucking hot.
Eventually gives it a try and realizes just how much he doesn’t mind the difference. Sure it’s a bit of a learning curve, but it’s almost as if two people from different cultures meet each other.
He teaches you about the races they do and what’s often seen as normal in train culture and you share your own culture’s rules that you practically abide by or don’t in that regard.
I feel like he’d just be a good learner when it comes to that, but all in all will absolutely love you no matter if you’re a small human and barely come to his lower calf properly
I need some red, white, and blue Electra boogaloo love up in here. Electra falling in love with a steamer reader, and the components are SHOCKED, like this is ELECTRA we are talking about. But unfortunately, Electra is having a hard time pulling the MASSIVE tree branch out of their ass, so the 7 of them have to play wingman/wingwomen for Electra till they get said tree branch out of their ass and ask out the realy cute steam engine.

Oh my god it is the end of the world. At least that’s what Electra swears it is. After all they fell for a fucking steamer of all things. No he refuses, she’s not into this bucket of rust. It’s old technology, there’s no way that she has been charmed into liking you of all people.
Due to this marvelous realization on their part, they become actually unbearable to be around. They’re always in a mood and nobody will be able to properly get him to talk. Not even his components which is where the trouble sets in
That’s where the problems come in as if the components can’t properly communicate with their engine, problems arise. When problems arise then Electra becomes more annoyed and snaps at things faster. Which once again gets the cycle going.
After a while of this the components have had enough, they’re going to make sure their boss was going to get together with this steamer or just get over them at least. Anything was better than dealing with Ms. Always angry at every single thing.
All of them band together and just start doing things like showing approval of you, even if you are a steamer. Maybe this will finally get Electra to be happy with you. First they just stick with little things like these.
Eventually they realize that this won’t help and they have to do something bigger. At first they have no idea on what to do, no matter how many times they secretly brainstorm.
That’s when Wrench realizes: Electra’s main motivation is usually either for fame and attention, or out of spite and jealousy. From that she comes up with a perfect plan: Get Rusty and Greaseball to maybe flirt with you and have Electra get so huffy about it, that they’ll take you for themself.
Greaseball and Rusty are asked who kind of looks to their girlfriends to see if it’s okay. Pearl and Dinah think it’s hilarious and give the permission for both to flirt with you to make Electra jealous.
As you may assume, it works like a fucking charm. Wrench read them like a fucking book and they fall right into the trap that her and the rest of the components set up for her.
After seeing Rusty and Greaseball kind of flirt with you, they get huffy. Why are you with those two, you’re better than those two (I thought you were just a rust bucket… hm strange.)
All in all eventually he just kind of constantly takes you away. Obviously you have absolutely no idea about any of this, so you just get flirted with by Rusty and GB???? And now Electra is dragging you to places?????? Guess you won’t complain, but also what the hell is happening.
Eventually in the end Electra is just like. “You've been honored to be my partner.” Leaving you wondering is that’s how he does everything, either way you just jab back with a big smirk. “Sure I’ll go on a date with you, weird way to ask.”
Oh they hate you, but they love you. Yeah the two of you realize that after this you two really like each other and slowly get into a rhythm with each other. You simply call her out on her bigotry and she makes sure you get a new shine for yourself.
That way you can look like a pretty pristine rust bucket <3 All for you <3
I was just listening to meghan trainer's song "Marry Me" and OMG THE BEAST IDEA CAME TO ME! The components proposing to/getting proposed to by reader. Like who propses first, do they propose at the same time (one person proposes and then the other person pulls out their ring and then proposes to them as well) like it would be so CUTE❣️❣️❣️❣️ Then they tell Electra and the other components and their super happy.

Wrench was the one who proposed to you. As everything with Wrench it was incredibly well thought out and you didn’t have a single clue it was going to happen.
It was a perfect night with the two of you. All alone, cuddled up on the couch, watching a movie with each other. It was the perfect set up as everything went just to Wrench’s plans.
After a bit of just cuddling, she turned towards you and popped the question, practically whispering it in your ear. Something quiet and intimate. Of course you said yes and the rest of the night was spent close to one another.
She has bought you a simple ring to wear for now, something to show off the two of you were together and it was perfect.
After a week or so that’s when she decided together with you to tell the rest. They’re super happy for you and honestly we're seeing it coming from a mile away. The two of you always worked so well together.
Everyone is super happy for you and can’t wait for the wedding to happen.
Killerwatt
Killerwatt was the one who proposed to you. This honestly is a bit of a surprise with how shy he is about affections and such. Yet he really wanted to make this perfect for the two of you.
He was slightly procrastinating it as that ring box has almost burned a hole through his pocket for at least a few weeks already. He really wanted to do it, but he was unsure. Not of you, but of himself. Would he be able to do this well? Would he be able to treat you the way you deserve to be treated?
These insecurities plague him for a while, that is until he just found the perfect time to propose. He knew he had to do it when you two were out and happened to be near a landscape that was just breathtaking.
He murmured some loving words, before he got on one knee, taking you completely by surprise. Of course you said yes though and went home kind of giddy.
When you were home the two of you celebrated with our favorite foods and drinks. He is a pretty private person so he’d want to just spend time with you alone, no matter what you do. You’d probably have to choose what the two of you do due to him not having a clue.
As for telling the rest. I think he’d be surprisingly shy and nervous about it. Of course it’s all in his head, because the moment he does announce it together with you everyone is more than happy for the two of you.
They do absolutely start teasing Killerwatt- Join it, it'll be fun.
Volta
Volta was the one who proposed to you. The two of you had talked about proposing for a longer time already and she thought you were taking too long so they did it for you.
Of course it was planned to perfection and executed perfectly as well. Of course it was a spectacle for you and the components. She wouldn't do it in public, she doesn’t need random people seeing the affection she holds for you.
She even planned the celebration perfectly. A nice dinner for the both of you, go home and completely spoil you, before making sure you fall asleep in his arms.
The components were definitely a part of the proposal so they already knew, they immediately congratulated the two of you and some even started already talking about wedding plans and what your view was.
As for Electra, he was definitely watching so he did come up afterwards so she could properly congratulate the both of you as well. It seems they’re rather… amused and proud? You’re not sure, but it felt special either way.
Don’t think for a second you have to do anything for the rest of that day. She wants you to feel special and so she’s going to make sure she will do that, don’t test her.
Joule
You were the one who proposed to Joule. Listen after the two of you started talking about proposing you weren’t going to let her do her own proposal. That might result in a wildfire-
Honestly I think the best place to propose to Joule is a fireworks show. You did make sure to get her attention and scream it over the explosions in the background. You have seen one too many romance plots where the MC is obvious or the Romantic interest misunderstands what they say.
Safe to say, the moment you pop the question Joule fucking jumps you. Just kissing your face all over as she totally doesn’t cry. She’s too cool to cry. Stop saying she’s crying.
Afterwards, good luck trying to peel her off of you, I’m pretty sure you’d be dragging/carrying her all the way home, while she keeps kissing your face and such. It’s honestly kind of cute.
Either way the moment you get home, she just drags you to do some fun stuff with her, like baking or something. She needs to get all the adrenaline you just fed her out of her body okay? And this is what she enjoys doing the most!
The two of you telling the rest of the crew just makes everyone… Well let’s just say they’re super happy for you and Joule, but all of them are already kind of sweating at the thought of Joule being in charge of something.. especially her own wedding.
But it’s fine they’re going to help the best they can and since all of them work extremely well together, it’ll go just fine. Just never let Joule choose anything besides her makeup /j obviously a joke, but don’t let her be apart of the special effects at the wedding-

You were the one who proposed to Null. Who was surprised? There is no way he’s going to propose to you, he deserves to feel like a pretty special princess so you better make it true for her.
And make them feel special. You made sure everything felt like a true fairytale for him so that he could say yes in the most magical way that he could. You made sure you got him to a clearing somewhere that looked fairytale like.
That’s where you gave him this entire english writing essay of why you love him and if he would do the greatest honor to be your partner and spouse for life. He definitely didn't cry and ruin his makeup, the photos won’t fool you. Don’t let them fool you!
Of course you had hired a photographer, you know the way Null likes it and so you made sure everything was absolutely perfect. You at least think everything went perfectly, because he didn’t stop the proposal dramatically and pretended to be all ‘woe is me.’
When you tell the rest they are of course super happy for you and are excited to see the wedding. After all, when Null is planning it it’ll make for a spectacular thing. It’ll be the best thing that you can possibly ask for.
Honestly just let him do his thing, just tell him your preferences and boom the wedding is planned.
Krupp
Krupp was the one who proposed to you. It was probably planned out well, but a little stiff. After all this is Krupp we’re talking about. Did we expect him to be properly fluid with it?
He would’ve probably with the help of some of the others, made sure that everything is as perfect as he can make it. Krupp got a little booth place at a fancy restaurant and proposed, quietly, to you there.
Obviously you said yes and you enjoyed the rest of your intimate dinner, with a big dessert because of the special occasion. You won’t tell the restaurant though, because neither of you would like it to be a big deal.
When home he continues to spoil you as much as he can. He’s a little awkward about it, but he slowly gets into it. Let’s just say you can safely say you won’t have to stand up for anything that evening.
Telling the others is just a thing of “they said yes.” You swear you see the faintest soft smile on Krupp. Now you have ammo, never let him forget it.
The rest is of course ecstatic for you and immediately tells you that if you need anything you just ask them. They will do their best to help you out with wedding planning and other things if you ask nicely.
Purse
You were the one to propose to Purse. They like to be spoiled, let’s face it he was waiting rather impatiently for you to propose to him finally. He wasn’t going to propose, also he expects a lot from you, so you better make it spectacular.
And you do, you even rope the others into helping with your proposal. Thanks to the rest knowing Purse a little too well it’s easy to make the big proposal that he would want.
He’d feel so spoiled and happy. Of course he’ll say yes, he sees how much you put into this proposal, so to say no now is just not a thing that would happen.
You of course because of all this don’t have to tell the rest as they see it happening and everything. They’re still super happy for the two of you.

The morning came back around and this meant the usual morning routine. Today however it was a bit different, instead of you and your partner doing your own makeup in your respective rooms, you had decided to get each other ready for the day or at least in each other’s company.
Electra
Electra huffed in annoyance as they tried to get their iconic face paint on for the day. For some reason they couldn’t get a single line straight. Eventually you jumped when you heard her throw the brush away and shrieked in anger. "Stupid! I can’t go outside like this if nothing will work with me!” He said as he crossed his arms as he stomped his foot against the floor.
You blinked for a moment and put your brushes away as you slowly skated up to them and silently looked over at the face paint, before a lightbulb went off above your head and you picked up the brush that he had thrown.
The electric engine raised an eyebrow as she saw you grab the brush. “What are you thinking of, starshine?” He asked while tilting his head just slightly. Without any words you straddled his lap and put the brush up to his face.
A look of shock washed over his face as he immediately froze, having been trained well by Null and Joule. She sat still as you started to do the face paint you knew so well as you have messed it up several times. Joule always enabled, Null always scolded.
Either way you know it by heart now. Electra sat there softly looking up at you with amusement and a glimmer of what you could swear was love as you sat there doing their makeup. “There, much better, yeah?” You asked as you stood up.
With a grin Electra stood up and let you lean against the vanity. “Perfect, starshine. Thank you for doing it for me.” She said and softly kissed your lips, before turning around and starting his day.
Wrench
Wrench looked through her rather impressive collection of lipstick colors, something she truly didn’t really care too much for, but Electra had insisted on the different colors as ‘they suit you’ or ‘we must match’.
You sat beside her, doing your own make up until she turned to you with a rather serious look. “Quick question, what color lipstick are you planning on wearing?” She asked as she looked at your personal lipstick collection, once again due to Electra insisting.
For a moment you blinked and looked over at her slightly confused at her sudden question, before shrugging. “This one suits well with what vibe we’re going with today. Why?” You asked as you held the lipstick up so she could see which one you were talking about.
“Well you know how Electra is very particular about colors?” She asked as she started sifting through her lipsticks, trying to find the same color you were holding up. You simply narrowed your eyes in confusion. “Uh yeah?” You said as it was sadly kind of an obvious thing.
“Well I want to be able to kiss you without Electra complaining about this ‘new color we didn’t tell them about’.” Wrench said, slowly looking over at you with a small smirk as you finally realized what she was saying. “Right… Well I know you don’t have this color so I guess you’ll just have to borrow mine.” You said a sly smirk coming on your own space.
“I think I know the perfect way.” Wrench said as she leaned closer to kiss you. Later Electra would complain at you two for being late, only to find the lipstick marks on each other. They were both unamused and extremely smug about the two of you being late for this particular reason.
Killerwatt
Killerwatt looked at you with an almost unreadable expression. That is usually the expression he took on, but you could tell he was somewhat concerned. “Are you sure you want to do this?”
“Watt, I know what I’m doing. It won't be that long so we’ll be late, chill.” You said with a soft smile as you guided him to the chair and put him down. “There, now sit back and let me do this for you.”
He didn’t say a word anymore, just sighed deeply as he put his hands on your hips to steady you as you started painting his makeup efficiently and proper just the way he liked it.
The security truck wouldn’t say this out loud, but he loved the way you cared for him so deeply. Which was so easily seen even in such a small thing like this. He wouldn’t do your makeup after this, afraid he’ll mess it up, but know that he appreciates this so much.
Once you’re done you wink at him. “Time to face the music.” You said with a soft kiss to his lips, before skating out with him already having done your own makeup as it was basically second nature for you.
Volta
Volta suddenly grabbed you by your couplers and pulled you backwards towards her. “Well time for you to do my makeup, you promised after all~” Her hot breath touched your ears, making you squirm slightly.
With a shaky flustered grin, you quickly got to work, ignoring the way that Volta grabbed your hips and pulled you close to her. You were just happy you were behind closed doors or otherwise you might’ve just exploded with all the eyes on you.
Apparently thought Volta was clearly in a teasing mood as she looked at you with a certain glint in her eyes. “You’re doing so good for me~” She praised you with a slight smirk on her face.
“Stop that.” You mumbled, feeling your cheeks burn as you tried to ignore her beauty, which was practically impossible while doing her makeup. The moment you finished though you quickly got off of her and with a big grin started skating away.
“Alright, did your makeup! Let’s move on!” You said, but you were grabbed back by your couplers once more. “Not so fast, I was going to do your makeup too, wasn’t I?”
Save your soul, I promise you’ll be fine :] she’s totally not going to make sure you leave incredibly flustered and maybe some blue lipstick on you :]
Joule
The two of you were running late and you couldn’t help, but sigh annoyed. “Joule, I love how you wanted to do my makeup for the day since you’re amazing at it. Can you go a bit faster? I do not need a scolding from any of the others for being late… again.”
Joule quickly shut you up with a pointer finger to your lips. “Shhhh, I only have to do one more step.” She said with a cat-like grin as she held up the lipstick. A sigh left your lips as you kept laying back while she straddled over you. She always insisted she’d do your makeup like the one lesbian meme.
You couldn’t exactly complain, but right now it made it rather hard to get her to hurry up. “Fine, just please hurry up.” You said looking up at her as she opened the lipstick and started applying it on herself. You glanced around before looking at her confused. “Joule why are you applying it on yoursel-” You couldn’t even finish your sentence, before Joule grabbed your face and started kissing your lips like a woman that was starved.
The moment you pulled away and managed to catch your breath you kind of stared at her for a moment. “That’s one way to do it.”
“My favorite way! Okay we can go now.” Joule said, while standing up. You couldn’t help, but trip her while she was on her way to the door. What? Serves her right.
Null
“Sit.” Null told you while patting on the bed, leaving you to stare at him blankly. “I’m not your dog, Null.” You said in a deadpan tone, before Null grabbed you and just put you where he wanted to have you.
The only thing you could do was sit there as Null did your makeup, working meticulously as he was one of the ones that often did the makeup artistry on Electra. If it wasn’t them it was Joule who had the honor.
Whenever he couldn’t do it on Electra, like today though his hands were just itching to help someone out, which is why you were his victim today. It wasn’t like you were able to complain much as he handled you with such care and tenderness as the brush flew over your eyelids and cheeks with practiced grace.
“Perfect.” Null said as she leaned back with a grin. Your eyelids fluttered back open as you looked up at her, the cooler truck smirking as they gave a soft kiss to your lips. “I guess the makeup is rather wonderfully done as well.” She whispered, before he turned and rolled out of the room.
Which left you sitting there for a moment, before quickly standing up. “Smooth bastard.” You mumbled under your breath as you went to skate after him.
Krupp
“I swear I told (Y/n) and Krupp to be ready by now! Where the hell are they?” Electra raged and raved about the two that were making the entire group wait. The rest could only wait as they paced up and down.
Purse put his hands on his hips while he cocked them to the side. “Usually they’re perfectly on time, so I have no idea.” They answered their boss as they didn’t seem particularly pleased about being kept waiting either.
“All I know was that (Y/n) said they were going to do Krupp’s makeup today.” Joule responded with a shrug that truly showed off she didn’t truly care about where they were and what made them late, probably happy she wasn’t the one that was last like always.
Null blinked. “Literally how would that make them late though?” He asked, before Wrench simply pointed towards the door. “That’s how.” She said in a deadpan voice.
When everyone looked over they saw Krupp covered in lipstick kisses. He almost looked flustered even with how stoic he usually was, while (Y/n) stood next to him with a rather smug smirk also surprisingly covered in lipstick kisses.
“Be so for real.” Purse said in the background only to get a middle finger from (Y/n). “It’s fashion, deal with it, Purse.”
Purse in fact did not deal with it.
Purse
You didn’t have much of a choice as you were practically dragged out of bed by your boyfriend and put on a chair to do your makeup. He made sure you stayed and then straddle your lap, starting to meticulously do your makeup.
He didn’t do it often, usually sticking to his own makeup, but apparently today he really wanted to do your makeup that he didn’t even ask and just put you there. Finally when he got to a certain detail you understood why.
Purse pulled out new packets of glitter you hadn’t yet seen before and sighed out. “You want to test out new glitter on me?” You asked almost deadpan as you sat there looking up at him. He simply rolled his eyes. “Duh.” And that’s all he left it by.
You looked down at him straddling you and looked back up at him. “Is this all really necessary?” Only for him to grab your chin to stop you from moving. “Stop moving, you’ll ruin my beautifully new bought glitter I’m so graciously applying on you. Sit. Still.”
Looks like you didn’t have much of a choice than to just sit there and let him pamper you.

Wrench
You best believe that dating Wrench will have you getting several check ups just to make sure that you’re doing alright. She wants to make sure you won’t just up and stop working. It almost feels like she’s working for you as well as Electra with how much she looks over you.
Luckily it doesn’t feel too overbearing even if she can be a bit pushy when it comes to these check ups. It’s just what she does best and if she can do anything for you, she tries to do just that.
PDA isn’t really a big thing for Wrench as she’d rather keep it behind closed doors, but sometimes a quick peck on her cheek or lips won’t be the end of the world. As well as hand holding, she does prefer the linking of the pinkies more than hand holding, but either way she’s rather okay with that.
The rest will be strictly behind closed doors as she gets slightly uncomfortable with anything bigger right in front of anyone. The only one she might be okay with seeing is Electra and the rest of the components.
Dating Wrench in general is rather chill. No big declarations of love, just quality time spent together. Often she's working on something while you’re working on your own thing in the corner. It’s how she loves it.
Although if your love language is something different she does listen carefully and makes sure to show you she loves you through that as well. She is a very good listener, trust me.
She is extremely serious about communication. If she does something you don’t like. Tell. Her. She will do the same to you and she’ll do it in a way that you don’t have to feel bad or anything, just kind of a heads up to not do that again.
She doesn’t really like when she does something and you are hurt and she’ll do it again and again because you won’t tell her. She hates the thought of hurting you, on accident or on purpose. So in the end she just wants to make sure she doesn’t do that ever.
Killerwatt
Very quiet protective teddy bear basically. He’s practically your second shadow as he follows you around to make sure you’re safe. As well as spend time with you.
Any time he’s dismissed by Electra, he’ll practically continue his job by immediately glueing to your side to protect you. Please for the love of everything make sure this man rests, otherwise he’ll be constantly tense and that cannot be good for his body.
Luckily it’s rather easy to coax him into doing something relaxing with you, sadly it takes a while before he’s truly relaxed and if anything seems to happen then it can be he’s back to square one.
He seems like the guy to give good hugs though and honestly that’s the only thing he’ll let you do in public. This man is also not great with PDA and is even more reserved than Wrench is.
In other words hugs are okay, everything else in private please. Even with the components and Electra he gets a bit awkward if you do any kind of PDA in front of them. Although sometimes teasing him and seeing how red he gets with the people he trusts most is rather amusing.
He just shows he loves you by making sure you always have a safe space with him. He’ll do everything in his power to make sure you feel safe around him. Always protecting you, listening to you when you need it and making you feel at home.
Killerwatt cares super deeply about you, even though he has a hard time truly showing you much of the normal relationship stuff. He tries to make up for this by doing what he can do and he’ll truly give it his all.
Volta
A relationship with Volta is rather intense in a way. She is rather high maintenance, but that’s not the thing that is the most intense in the relationship.
She’s just kind of a huge personality and she will not tone it down for your comfort. So if you don’t like her as she is then there's the door. Obviously if you stay then she will be more than happy to show you her side of paradise.
Volta is very affectionate, always has something touching you. If that’s simply her standing at your side or if that is their arm around your waist. It just makes her feel at ease to be besides you. Plus she likes pampering you with affection.
Honestly she doesn’t care much about PDA, she’ll love you behind closed doors or in front of people. She doesn’t hate it, she doesn’t love it, her main focus is making sure you feel loved.
She’s super no nonsense though, obviously he can take a joke here or there, after all I feel like they can be a bit silly at times. If you go a bit too long though or she feels you’re going a bit too much off track, he’ll reign you in with a simple command usually.
Listen this woman is a girlboss and although she obviously lets you do your own thing, she does expect you to listen somewhat to her. She likes her people to be compliant. Obviously a little bit of sass here and there isn’t that bad, after all she has to deal with people like Electra, Null, Purse and such. Too much she doesn’t like it though.
Very protective of you though. If anyone tries to say something bad about you, or tries to swing at you, best believe they have to deal with a whip to the face. Or at least to the shins or something, something nasty.
Not to mention the verbal lashing they’ll get. I don’t think anyone who tries to fuck with you like that will be much of the same for a while- But then again that shit is hot to see. What a fucking woman.
Joule
I hope you like chaos, because otherwise you’ll have a persistent headache as much as Joule comes and goes. She is a free spirit and being in a relationship better not tie her down, otherwise she will cut you loose to be free once more.
Of course she loves and cares deeply about you, but you simply cannot control wildfire and that’s how you can describe her perfectly.
Honestly if you can match her wildfire though, best believe that everyone hates to see you two walk into a room. You’re both good at your job and you can fuck around so much that people might get headaches while dealing with you both.
She loves loves loves PDA, she loves showing you off and making sure people know you’re hers. Oh she loves saying that you’re hers as well, maybe a bit possessive, but hey it’s hot so are you really complaining?
It might be a good thing though if you can reign her in just a bit sometimes. Obviously do it too much and she’ll feel caged, not to mention she’s super spontaneous and reckless so she might just easily cut you off.
Sometimes it’s needed though and she actually appreciates you making sure she doesn’t do anything dumb she’ll regret later. The line is pretty easy to see so it’s not like you’ll be dumped without seeing what you’re doing.
Other than that a relationship with Joule is simply just a fucking adventure every day and is best described as a rollercoaster. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s bad, just know that through all the ups and downs Joule loves fiercely and she’ll make it worth your while for sure.
Null
I hope you’re ready for a lot of snide comments. Most of the time they’re pointed towards other people, but sometimes they are most definitely pointed at you.
Listen Null is rather petty and so if you do something he doesn’t like he might just instead of communicating it to you, make snide remarks until you notice that he isn’t pleased and ask.
Honestly it takes a bit to get used to dating Null. That’s mostly because Null also has to settle into the dating life. I feel at first it’s a bit of a stumble, this is because Null realizes that the way he usually communicates is a lot different than he should in a relationship.
She wants to make you feel loved and cared for, not for you to run the other way because he’s being a rather big red flag to you.
After that first struggle together with them, they’re actually wonderful to be around. She’s amazing at make up and so if you ask for her help she’ll be happy to do so. As well as if anyone even dares to touch you he’ll have this person obliterated by words faster than you can say AC/DC.
He’s very confident in the relationship and in you, but sometimes please tell him you love him or show that you do. This might be an obvious thing, but sometimes he feels just extremely small and the need to be reassured.
Either way he’ll make sure you’ll be almost rewarded for loving him. He likes to spoil his partner and obviously you deserve the best, so let him love you with gifts and such and he’ll be more than happy with you.
Krupp
Kind of the same as Killerwatt and yet so different all at the same time. Although he’s super protective over you, he doesn’t constantly hover over you like a shadow, although he is usually nearby for if you need his help he’ll be with you shortly.
Shockingly he’s rather into PDA. He kind of likes it that people show off that he is theirs, although he doesn’t outwardly say this outloud as she is almost shy about this fact. He doesn’t hide it, but also doesn’t go out of his way for people to know.
This might be a bit of a side tangent from what I was talking about, but this man would have the best hugs. Killerwatt’s are good, but Krupp’s are fucking godly. This man would be able to just completely hide you, I don’t care if you’re taller than this rather short man. He would have amazing teddy bear hugs, thank you for listening to my ted talk.
He’s really sweet though. His relationship with you is rather lowkey in a way, but he loves you a lot. Krupp really doesn’t know what to do very often when it comes to the relationship, because quite frankly he’s not that great with showing off his feeling in general.
That’s why he does everything he can do, because he won’t force himself to do something emotional when it makes him uncomfortable or something like it. So he leaves little notes, words of encouragement, always remembers what you like and dislike.
Also nobody can tell me otherwise, this man can fucking cook okay. He’ll learn to cook all of your favorite recipes and perfects them so that you always have your favorite comfort food within reach. You just have to ask him nicely.
Purse
High maintenance. Like super high maintenance and I’m saying that in the most loving way I’m able to say. Which is a lot because people swear Purse is my favorite component (I promise I love all of them equally COUGH WRENCH IS MY FAV COUGH)
Anyways. The reason he’s high maintenance is because he cares about his own looks, but also his partner’s. He also loves to be spoiled and lastly it can be a real tiring experience to constantly deal with his pettiness.
If you thought that Null was bad with pettiness, you should see Purse. Yet even though he is super high maintenance he’ll make sure the reward you practically get for dating him is just as big if not bigger than what you have to deal with.
He might like getting spoiled, but he loves spoiling as well. Buying you things, making sure you are treated well, and the best products. He always keeps track of things for you as he knows that most people aren’t as good at math as he is. Either way he keeps everything on track while also spoiling you.
He absolutely loves PDA and practically demands it. You better show off to people just how amazing of a boyfriend he is and he’ll absolutely do it to you too. If you get easily flustered it’s only better for him as he absolutely loves to see the warmth radiating off of your cheeks.
Either way when Purse loves, he loves with his entire being. He also hates his entire body, either way he’s very all or nothing and as long as you treat him well and go out of your way for him, he’ll do the same to you.
Plot twist I'm asking for the Bochum Engines this time. (Just for some variety) The first time racing with them, as their S/O on top of that. The world finds out that coach/truck/ freight reader is dating a champion racer on their first race together.

This is one of the proudest women in the fucking world. So the fact that you’re behind her makes her even more insufferable in that regard. To the others that is, she cannot stop bragging- That’s just a plus for you though
She has no doubt in her mind that she’ll win together with you. You’re perfect for her after all so there is no way that you will slow her down in any way. You two will win together and you will celebrate with each other’s company in the end
This might be the first time riding with you, but the two of you know each other so well by now that she knows, not thinks, knows that it will go perfectly.
Then you have the others finding out about you being Coco’s S/O. They’re actually shocked, what do you mean Coco has a partner? And one she debuts during a race?!...
Actually that’s very in character for her and the moment the others realize this, they all just kind of. Deadpan? I think that’s the best way of saying it. They do congratulate you and her for being together.

“FINALLY!” Yeah no he’s been waiting for a long time for the next race or in general the fact he could race with you behind him. He absolutely loves the fact he can show you off and is literally no better than Coco, even though he’d like to try and deny it often.
He’s making sure everything is absolutely perfect for this and the moment the announcement comes in calling out your and Bobo’s names, he takes all the applause and points at you to get the audience to clap for you as well.
Nobody is surprised that Bobo has a S/O because he literally will not shut the fuck up about you. He absolutely loves talking about you, showing you off, reminding everyone you exist that the moment he shows you off it’s kind of a long time coming.
Coco just greets you after the race, as she’s seen you before and has to hear Bobo constantly talk about you. Please save her, she’s sick and tired. She wishes to talk about literally anything else, even though you’re wonderful.
Either way he’s honestly at his best when you’re behind him, easily swerving and going through the motions of the race. Before you know it, it’s the end of the race and the two of you did amazing as expected.
He will shower you in attention afterwards and is just so happy that you would race with him. Careful though if you’re not much of a racer, he’ll just kind of look at you with batting eyelashes until you’re ready to do it again as he loves racing with you.
Bobo would never push you into doing what you don’t want to do, but he is a bit of a whiny baby about it, trust me.
Espresso
Will absolutely attack you in kisses the moment you want to race together with him. Oh he would be so incredibly happy and honored and he could just eat you, you’re so cute.
You’d think he’d not be able to be more extravagant with his acts of love and such things like that, and yet here he is making himself shine even more than he usually does, just to look perfect for you when he races with you
Please ask him to do your makeup for the race, trust me he’ll love it so much. He’ll make sure to put extra details in there to make you so beautiful that you’ll definitely take the breath of the audience away.
At this point the competition needs sunglasses with how shiny and bright the two of you are. Which honestly would work in your favor so don’t change anything no matter what anyone says.
I will say that I feel Electra in the background would be so offended that you two are more shiny than his LEDs and like that’s funny so continue to rub it in, it’ll be funny.
With Espresso people finding out about the relationship is the same exact thing as with Bobo: Nobody is surprised. Like at all. He constantly gushes about your beauty and your shared interests and how cute you are when talking about interests he doesn’t understand for a moment.
Doesn’t stop him from continuing to show you off, his talks about you now finally being able to be viewed by every and all trains in the yard as well as the audience. He’s so proud to call you his and he’ll continue to show it off.
Ruhrgold
Super honored, but does give you a bit of a warning with how dangerous it is to race. Especially after last year when he almost was thrown off the railing by Greaseball and absolutely beaten, he’s very hesitant to let his S/O do anything honestly.
After a lot of convincing and ensuring that you’ll be okay, he does agree in the end. He does love the idea of having you behind him, it makes his day even. Be prepared to be very protected though, because he won’t let anyone touch you before, during and after the race.
People are actually quite shocked about the fact that Ruhrgold has a partner. Everyone would just be surprised as he does seem the one to be open enough to share he has one, but honestly it would just be things slipping his mind as other things are more important to talk about at that moment or other understandable reasons.
Honestly they’d love to meet you though! I think it’s the only proper introduction you’re going to get in this line up honestly. He introduces you to all the engines, kind of blocking you still in case someone thinks they can snatch you away cough GREASEBALL AND ELECTRA COUGH COUGH.
In the end though he enjoys the race with you. After realizing that you won’t just go down by a little hit he feels a lot better and does his best with you behind him. He’s incredibly proud of you and although he won’t know how to properly say it, he’ll definitely show you how proud he is!
Manga
Very honored that you would want to ride with him. The moment he asked he played it cool, but you could see a spark in his eyes light up as he agreed to race with you.
Will be extremely humble about it and honestly would talk to you about how you would like to be treated during all of this. Would you just like to join him behind him and enjoy the moment like the normal races go? Would you like him to go a bit out of his way to show you off?
The moment the two of you come out, he’ll stick to what you two discussed. He’s polite like that. Although you can practically see him beaming for you to be behind him as the two of you get announced.
I don’t think people are surprised by the fact that he is together with someone. Manga is pretty mysterious and so people don’t know much about his private life, because of this they know to not expect anything, but also not to cross anything off.
Either way everyone is rather nice to you. Outside of the race that is, we all know how crazy the races can get… and do get.
Manga truly enjoys racing together with you and is just happy that you two participated. As long as you two are safe and have fun, that’s all he really cares about. Obviously he’ll do his best, but he won’t throw a tantrum if he loses.

Turnov
Honestly a bit unsure, after all if you look at just how crazy and intense the races are, you’d understand why he wouldn’t be too happy to just thrust you into that position. After all, if you're a threat, people will want to get rid of you.
After a bit of back and forth he does eventually cave and let you race behind him. Be warned though, if someone even slightly touches you he’s throwing hands. This man will fight for your honor, do not test him.
Honestly I think people would be surprised to see him together with someone. He isn’t really the person to be showing off, so for him to like let the entire world see his partner behind him in the race? It’s shocking to say the least.
The two of you absolutely kill it in the race. As you two are completely in sync as well as a power couple. You won’t let people get in cheap shots and Turnov would rather crash than let anybody touch you.
In the end he shows you off a bit, proud of you. After that he needs to recharge though, instead of celebrating he’ll grab you and have a night in. Enjoying your company.
He’s really sweet, but rather quiet when it comes to post race stuff. He needs to regain his energy and so he makes sure to just take it easy with you so he can properly celebrate with you.
Brexit
Man’s so happy that he can finally race and he gets to race with you? Double win for him. After all the last time he tried to race he kind of had to drop out so the fact he gets to actually do this now.
Oh how he’ll talk non stop about how he’s super excited to race with you. It’s just so thrilling, the races, with other worthy opponents and with you behind him. He can picture it so clearly already.
The moment the race is on and the two of you get announced I feel most engines are rather shocked at the sight of Brexit together with anyone, but they get over it quickly as they decide to just focus on the race.
Both of you work together rather perfectly and smoothly, but due to the way the race goes you guys don’t particularly win.
Brexit does not really give a shit though, he was just happy to have raced with you. Normally he cares a lot more about winning and yet he can’t seem to give himself a shit when he’s with you.
He celebrates the race with you either way, winning or losing. He’s just happy you’ve had your first race together and can’t be more proud of you and himself. Expect him to spoil you a bit after everything
Electra
It wasn’t a given that you were going to race with them?- Well. Eh. You’re racing with him, I don’t think you have much of a choice with this diva.
She wants to win, but also looks pretty. You’re her partner so you’d work perfectly with them and you’re fucking eye candy come on you’re racing with him, get your ass in gear.
The first time officially racing with them is still something rather special though. So he makes sure to be extra shiny and such to make sure you are completely pampered before the first race you two will go into together.
Not going to lie the components really pamper you as well and it’s almost like you’re going to prom more than going to your first race with Electra, not that you’re complaining though.
The moment you step out together with them the only shock that comes to everyone, is how Electra pulled another component out of his ass- They truly think you’re one of the components at first and that he had you be home for some reason.
Electra is almost offended, but then again the idea of you as his component rings absolutely right in her ears. Either way she didn’t bother with the other engines and is just set on winning.
The race is everything he wants it to be. Both flashy and fast. Electra is absolutely happy with the end of it and decides to immediately pull his entourage behind him together with you to celebrate. He doesn’t even bother with interviews this time, aren’t you a lucky carriage?
Greaseball
Oh you know that he would love for you to be behind him while he races. I feel if you’re the one to ask he’d like practically spit out anything he was drinking and then try to keep it cool.
Either way he’d be like practically waiting for you to race behind him. We all know how much he likes showing off his partners. Especially in something as flashy as the races.
Why didn’t he ask himself? Well he has a pride and reputation to uphold and since he’s seen as the whole heartbreaker he waited for you to ask. As well as he totally didn’t want to accidentally force you- what Greaseball being thoughtful? Unheard of.
Either way he’s happy to finally have you behind him for the race. He’d probably be even more pleased if you end up matching colors with him, oh he’d be almost on his knees. Figuratively of course, can’t have people thinking he’s a simp.
As for people finding out. People are honestly really baffled. Everyone was thinking that he was dating Dinah- Since when? What? Hah? They’re confused to say the least. A shock factor that might help in the race.
Then for Greaseball he’s extremely proud to be showing off as the one behind him in the race. Like look at his amazing partner, they look so amazing and you’re gonna look even better when he wins the race.
After the race he decides to spin you around while picking you up and carry you to a celebration together. The two of you deserved it and nobody will tell him otherwise.
Rusty
He’d be so excited and happy! He’s someone’s first pick? Oh he’s so happy, he lets out a few whistles of happiness and says that he won’t let you down. He’s not about to show that you shouldn’t race with him again, he’s going to show you made the right choice.
He’ll even try to shine himself up as much as he can so you just have a partner you can be proud of being behind. What he doesn’t realize is that you’d love him either way, he doesn’t have to do good in the race for you to enjoy yourself.
When you come out with him I think people would actually be a lot more respectful due to the last race, so they won’t like to harass you for being with a rusty steamer. You can't help to see some side glances and hear some under their breath comments, you don’t pay attention to them though.
Honestly with you behind him I think Rusty kind of crushes the competition, he’s just so set on proving to you he’s good to race behind, as well as so happy that you are behind him. In the end he’s just like “See? Told you that you wouldn’t regret your decision.”
Just hit him with a “I would’ve never regretted it, even if we lost Rusty.” And he’d be all blushy and cute. He’ll definitely celebrate his win with you and doesn’t really care for all the official victory laps and such things like that.

Incredibly stunned. She would assume that most people would pick out that she’s Electra’s repair truck from a mile away. After all she kind of literally says it in her intro and she’s practically glued to his side, just like everyone else of the components.
She’s not against it though. If anything, the fact that she suddenly gets called yours actually fills her with a warm feeling in her stomach. She can’t help, but smile while she tells the person that she is not in fact your component, instead she’s Electra’s repair truck.
On the outside she doesn’t even flinch. She looks surprised for a moment, but quickly corrects the person in a professional way that only few can truly master. On the inside though she’s kind of giddy as it brings a smile to her face, maybe one day, but Electra was an amazing boss so she’d stick with them for as long as she’ll have her.
What she wasn’t expecting was you having listened in on the conversation and slowly rolling up to Wrench and wrapping your arms around her waist from behind. With a grin on your face you leaned into her ear. “You’re not my repair truck, but you’ll always be mine.” You whispered in her ear before giving her a soft kiss against her temple.
She pushes you away with a fond eye roll and a smile on her face, but you made her heart absolutely explode with love. Wrench in the comfort of her home is definitely going to have to recover from this one as she never thought she’d get this happy from one single comment.
You’ve captured her heart and she couldn’t be more glad that it’s you who did it.
Killerwatt
???? He’s???? Literally????? With Electra???? All the time???? He’s even more stunned and confused than Wrench was. He’s the security truck of Electra and spends a lot more time with the electric engine than you, because it’s his literal job to protect him.
He’s kind of too stunned to really process it properly. He just corrects the person as nice as his blunt and serious personality can and then just leaves it at that. He won’t let it show just how confused he is, but know that he is extremely confused.
You simply chuckle while rolling up to him. “I guess you’re not my security truck, but I’ll always feel safe for you. After all you’re all mine, forever.” You said with a grin and leaned towards him to kiss his jaw.
Becomes the cat gif with a loading circle on its head, because he doesn’t get it for a bit. When the entire conversation that just happened fully processed he actually gets a light blush on his face and tries to kind of hide his face by looking away and such.
He feels a little shy about being called yours and your words hit him right into his heart. You make him extremely happy, he just doesn’t know how to properly deal with those feelings.
So instead he just rolls up to you at some point in the day, wraps his arms around you protectively and just stands there hugging you for a while. It’s his way of saying thank you for your kind words and saying I love you.
He’ll always protect you, no matter what.
Volta
Will be stunned by the sheer audacity. She is kind of standing there like “??? Are you dumb?” Don’t get her wrong, she absolutely loves you with all of her heart, but anyone with a brain can see she’s not your component and is actually Electra’s and is quite frankly offended by anyone thinking differently.
Although she likes to be called yours, in regards to job stuff she does not like to be in her eyes ‘undermined’ in that way. She’s just really dedicated to her job and doesn’t like for people to kind of throw away all of her obvious hard work for Electra in that way.
You kind of stayed away from her for a little bit to stew in her anger for a bit, before she sighed out a long breath, letting it freeze over. You rolled up to her and gave her a soft hug from the front. “I know you’re not my freezer truck, but I’m really proud to call you mine in every other way.”
She wasn’t expecting that comment from you and she hates the fact that she completely melts into your touch after you say it, but for now she can allow herself to be vulnerable. For now at least.
She’ll let you have this moment with her this time. We don’t talk about how she really needed this as well and that she’s enjoying just as much as you if not more.
Volta does love you with all of her heart and will absolutely love the way you call her yours, even if it’s not for a job. Then again it’s never a chore or job to be around you for her <3

Laughs immediately. She would think it’s so hilarious that she got confused with being your dynamite truck instead of Electra’s. After all, in her eyes it’s pretty obvious who’s she really is.
But she’s never been the one to really correct people. If anything she immediately agrees with the person just to cause some chaos. It was getting boring around the yard anyways and this was practically a gift from the starlight itself.
You saw this all happening and fondly rolled your eyes as you knew what she was doing and were used to it by now. You rolled up to her side and side-hugged her with a small grin on your face. “You’re my dynamite truck all of a sudden? I doubt Electra would be happy with that.”
“Exactly! It’s fun to rile them up.” Joule said while wiggling her shoulders into you with a playful smirk on her face. You were used to this from Joule by now and it was extremely fun to always see.
“Well even though you’re just playing with them. I’m lucky I can call you mine.” You said with a kiss against her cheek. You actually managed to throw her off her rhythm if only for a second.
Be prepared to catch her, because she will pounce and put her legs around your waist and will attack you in kisses and there’s nothing that you can do about this particular part.
Absolutely will poke you to call her yours more often, because it really makes her happy and she really is kinda craving more of that kind of attention.
Null
Honestly, look at the person if they’re stupid. Like have they not seen him introducing himself as Electra’s cooler truck?? What did you not understand from his introduction? He’s confused and judging the person, because he’s a mean boy. (Also in my brain they’re all a thing so Null is the cooler bc why would someone have two freezer trucks?)
He would just stare them down with a ‘Oh you’re dumb’ look until they leave. He’s not going to sit there and take that slander. Yes he loves you with all of his heart, no he doesn’t work for you and it doesn’t take a genius to see that.
When you roll up to him he’ll be all over you, just like he is whenever someone did some stupid shit. He just likes hanging off of you dramatically whenever some shit happens. It’s his favorite thing to do. So he’s just hanging off of your arm complaining about what just happened.
You just let him hang off of you and go. “Well you might not be my cooler, but you’re mine.” You just grab him by his hips and pull him close.
How to get Null to want to do everything for you. Tell him those words exactly. He’ll want to do everything for you, give you all the affection, cook for you, clean for you. Literally everything.
He will stare at you with love eyes for the rest of the day. I don’t make the rules I just follow them
Krupp
Isn’t confused or surprised or anything really. Just gently correct the person, because no he’s not your armaments truck, he’s Electra’s and he is very happy working under his boss so that’s not going to change very soon either.
He would be kind of worried he’d make you upset by the bold statement he kind of threw out there almost immediately, but the fact you come rolling up to him with a grin on your face, immediately puts him back at ease.
You rolling up to him and just burying your face in his chest and then looking up at him with a grin like. “You’re not my armaments truck, but I do like the ring of you being called mine.”
Kind of stares at you blankly, but you have been enough around Krupp to know he’s kind of flustered even though he doesn’t blush that easily. You just felt the warmth of his cheeks and just the slight movement of his face that gave him away.
You just giggle. “Love you too Krupp. I’ll be sure to call you mine more often.”
This man is extremely happy, but in a stoic kind of almost shy way. He’s not good at feelings, but he enjoys being called yours a lot and will absolutely do little things to keep you calling him yours <3
Purse
The most lethal side eye that someone has ever seen from him. Like you’re saying that his obvious dedication for Electra is not being shown? His hard work as being an accountant and the literal money truck for the ever famous and rich Electra, is not being obviously seen? Audacity.
Honestly he doesn’t even stop and think that he was called yours for a moment. He just kind of moves on with his life and later complains to you. He gets kind of annoyed that you start laughing at him and is all pouty with you.
That is until you pull him on your lap and smirk at him while going. “Well you might be Electra’s amazing and competent money truck, but you’re all mine besides that.” Also giving him a kiss against his lips.
That’s when he’s just like “... Oh…. oh” and what I imagine is kind of like the Debbie Ryan hair tuck, because he’s super into that. Suddenly is kind of obsessed with you calling him yours
Your nickname you use for him better now include ‘my’ in front of it or ‘mine’ in general because he’ll take absolutely nothing less from then on. He wants to be called yours all the time and if anyone makes the same mistake again? Well maybe next time he won’t get as mad as he did before..
Ok, I've had a few ideas for Joule X Fire engine (most likely steamer) reader (aka a fire fighter reader) that I want all of your opinions on. I'll probably bo all of them at some point, but I need you all to pick one so I can focus on one at a time.
OK, HERE WE GO!
1. Reader comes home after a hard tramatizing day at work and needs their GF's cuddles.
2. Reader goes on a dangerous mission on a broken bridge with their team, and Joule is watching on the monitors form the yard. Reader nearly falls off, and Joule sees the hole thing. Neather of them are ok after that and need to be in each other's arms.
3. How Joule won the heart of the lead fire engine with her feisty personality and clever pyrotechnic skills.
-At first she probably thinks you're just another of her many fans
-However, you're one of the first to actively try to get closer to her! Sure, a few other fans have tried, but most did too much ,to a point of restraining orders, or stopped after a week, usually finding a new obsession
-But not you. You stayed persistent, while respecting boundaries :)
-she revels in the attention you give her; you honestly need to be careful, before her already-over-the-top ego grows even bigger!!
-whenever she decides she needs extra attention, she'll just wait for you to come around, and goes "I'm so pretty, aren't I?" or purposefully works out in front of you, and she'll fully expect you to feed into her ego, once again (you do) (this is canon, this is basically just "pumping Iron"-)
-Eventually, you become a constant in her life, something, or rather someone, she can rely on to be there, even during the chaos of the races.
-she doesn't even realise that she looks longingly after you, when you do have to go. Starlight forbid anyone ever calls her out on it, though :p
-She really notices this, when you weren't there during a smaller race (maybe you got sick, maybe you were busy racing yourself, ect.). She finds herself visibly annoyed at the lack of attention before the race. Sure her fans were there, but it just wasn't the same. She beat up so many other trains during that race.
-When she gets back to the yard, she just sits there for a while, contemplating. because your missing presence should not affect the champion this much.
-Eventually she comes to terms with the fact that she likes you, and starts to reciprocate your affection ever so slightly. For example, if you hug her, she'll put an arm around your waist!
-It may not be much, but it's a start! she isn't used to caring this much. yet ;)
Rusty
-Poor boy is shocked.
-There are so many powerful and fast engines rolling around the yard - the champion herself is there! And yet you like him? a shunter engine?!
-Safe to say, he isn't used to the attention; it flusters him!
-Every time you as much as put a hand on his shoulder, he turns red and steam comes out of his ears! Every time you hug him, he just freezes in place, as if turned to stone! The first few times you thought the corrosion had finally eaten away at his train equivalent of a brain
-However, he'd be lying if he said that he minds; he isn't exactly used to attention, let alone kindness. Sure, the carriages are nice, but aside from Pearl, he wouldn't be surprised if it's out of pity - not to mention, that it's a nice change of pace, compared to the bullying he endures from Greaseball and her Gang
-Despite how shy he gets, he tries to reciprocate, but he usually ends up making it awkward.. He doesn't mean to, he just genuinely doesn't know what he's doing, he's not used to this level of affection!
-But you don't mind - you'd dare to call it endearing :) and that gives him some confidence, that you won't leave the moment you have a chance with one of the big shots
-He slowly starts to get used to your affection, and becomes less awkward himself! He no longer breaks at every touch! In fact, he starts to lean into your touches, finding them more comforting than anything
-Eventually, he even starts seeking you out himself, especially on days where work was exhausting, or Greaseballs gang was extra mean
-You become a sort of save space for him, someone he knows he can always turn to, someone who won't judge him for being himself
-By now, the way he looks at you has by far surpassed your own heart eyes. You may have fallen first, but he fell so much harder :)
Hydra
-Another smug one, but in a less egotistical way
-After his constant preaching about Hydrogen being the best option, it just feels good to be appreciated for once, instead of turned away!
-...even if technically isn't exactly because of that.. shhh, let the guy dream
- He really just lets you, he won't exactly reciprocate at first, but he doesn't mind! simply takes it as a compliment, and side hug you, at most
-Though conversation are bound to happen, considering how much time you spent around him; no matter if he's practicing for races, doing his job as a fuel truck, preaching about hydrogen, or simply taking a break, you are almost always around the corner
- Turns out you two actually have a lot in common, and you don't mind his passion for protecting the environment either!
-After a while, you two can usually be seen huddled together, laughing about something stupid, or simply talking about the most random things, barely ever even inches apart!
-The other freight trains definitely tease him about it; they give him teasing looks when you're together, or jokingly mimicking you two
-Just like with the previous two, it starts to be a lot weirder for you to not be there, instead of the other way around! whenever you two haven't seen each other in a bit, whether it's been a few days or just a few hours, it doesn't matter: when you see each other again, he'll be standing there expectantly, with his arms open :)
-You are definitely the person he trusts most, by now! after all, it's pretty hard to spill each others secrets while constantly around each other!
Dinah
-The girl is surprised; usually she's the Lovestruck one!
-She found your Lovestruck gaze adorable, and was honestly flattered to be the receiver of it
-While, unlike Rusty, she can still function, in spite of all your affection, she is certainly a blushy mess through and through!
-You two fit each other perfectly - once she got used to your affection, she is just as affectionate! Some would describe the two of you sickeningly sweet
-The other coaches get to hear all about you, and not as a passing comment either! No, you are the main topic of their girls (+Tassita) night, with discussions that go late into the night
-All the coaches are very supportive of you two, they're glad that Dinah is happy!
-Eventually, you two spent so much time together, that it's almost weird to see you two apart! And she couldn't say that she minds, you make great company, in her opinion :)
-It already felt great to have her love language be appreciated, but to have it reciprocated? she couldn't wish for more!
-you two are truly the perfect duo, complementing each other perfectly; according to rumours, you two are the cutest couple in the yard!
-You're the type of pair, to steal the attention from the actual race, because the cameras are busy getting all your cute moments for the fans

-Likes to just hold you, really. Her personal favourite is the two of you laying down somewhere, you laying on her chest with her arms around you! Basic, but good :) plus, this way she gets to use you as a weighted blanket; something she didn't know she needed
-Falls asleep pretty fast. The moment you two lay/sit down, and you're comfortably in her arms, she's out like a light.
-She always claims that she's just tired after a day of hard work, but really she finds cuddling with you oddly comforting, like she can just escape her busy schedule for a bit
-Has a death grip on you, once she's asleep, you aren't going anywhere. I also believe her to be a deep sleeper, so waking her up isn't easy either (she'd also be moody if woken up)
-Despite that, if you do manage to escape her grip, for whatever reason, she is up within the minute, and she is not happy. Will hunt you down, especially if it's already late out, and drag you back to your cuddle spot, probably while grumbling something incohesive
-Another type of cuddle she likes is to just come up behind you randomly throughout the day, wrap her arms around you, and not let go till she has to go back to work
-Doesn't care if you're in a conversation with someone, you're her partner! She doesn't even pretend to care about the conversation; if the other person asks what she's doing or tries to include her in the conversation, she will just stare them down
-You'd have to be the one to tell her you don't want to cuddle at the moment, she'd act annoyed and grumble about it, but ultimately respect your wishes
--she just really enjoys holding you, it makes her feel like your protector :)
Electra
-While they're more reserved in public, in private they're as affectionate as can be!
-Always has to be touching you in some way when it's just you two, or when the only ones around are their components, so they're always happy to cuddle
-While they don't mind being the little spoon, they prefer to be the big spoon - they enjoy holding you a lot, it makes them feel important. It also shows them that you have a certain level of trust in them :)
-I don't think they're the type to fall asleep while cuddling, they much prefer to give their attention to you; talking about nothing in specific, maybe discussing the newest gossip, simply relaxing in each others arms..
-Don't worry about falling asleep yourself, though! again, to them it simply shows how much trust you have in them! They also adore how peaceful you look asleep - simply adorable in their opinion
-They'd admire your sleeping form, perhaps run a hand through your hair.. and while they won't fall asleep themself, they'll use the moment to relax a bit, closing their eyes and just enjoying the peace and quiet - which seems to be something very rare in this chaos of a yard
-Starlight forbid someone tries to wake you up, though. They already hate it when others interrupt you two - but if they might wake you? Nothing a small electric shock, of varying strength depending on who it is, and a mean glare, can't fix though
-The only time they'll fall asleep while cuddling, is if you're cuddling at night, and even then they're probably awake before you. Chances are, you won't ever see them sleep, unless you got a very messed up sleep schedule or get up before the crack of dawn
-If you're okay with it, the components may occasionally join your little cuddle sessions! Usually after a especially rough day, could range from just one or two, to all of you creating a straight up cuddle pile. But if you want it to just be you and Electra, they completely respect that
-The amount of cuddles would increase in the winter - especially if you aren't a electric, and therefore naturally produce warmth! Electrics don't produce any heat, so the winter is even crueler to them, than it is already are to everyone else; and cuddling, especially somewhere cozy, just happens to be a very nice way to warm up :)
-If you're a steam engine, or in other words literally run on fire, they would just not let go of you in the winter
Dinah
-Literally the sweetest, will take any chance she can get to be affectionate with you!
-Another one that doesn't care whether she is the little or the big spoon, though she is more used to being the little spoon
-I would recommend letting her, at least occasionally, be the big spoon, though! especially after a rough day, her hold is really comforting!
-But no matter how you two are cuddled up, it is always a really soft and sweet moment; you two are usually talking about whatever comes to mind - anything from a deep discussion about the state of the world, to planning your next date, nothings off the table :)
-While she claims not to have a favourite cuddle position, she adores it whenever you two are cuddled up on the couch, with a warm drink in hand, and her head on your shoulder. Bonus points if it's in the winter, and you two are quietly watching the snow fall

- All you could ever wish for in the winter, and your worst nightmare in the summer
-Seriously, Steam engines run hot! it would be like sleeping right next to the fire place, or cuddling with a living, really warm, heating pad
-You'd probably end up still cuddling in the summer, because he loves being close to you, but it would be more you holding onto his arm - he wants to get closer, but understands you not wanting to overheat
-...also the first few nights, during your first summer together, he probably thought he did something to upset you, and that's why you don't want to cuddle, and you just couldn't stand that sad look of his
-It's a whole different story during winter, though! You'd probably be the one holding onto him all day! and he wouldn't mind at all, were it not for work
-But the moment he's off the clock, he's speeding directly into your arms :)
- You guys would end up in all kinds of different cuddle positions, all your limbs usually tangled by the end of it
-I don't think he has a favourite position, nor does he care about being the big or the little spoon, he just wants to be as close as possible to you. He isn't exactly used to being this loved, so he'll take anything he can get

-It was a spur of the moment thing, most likely after a winning a race together
-One moment you're relishing in the applause and celebrating your victory, the next there's suddenly a pair of Lips on yours
-I feel like she'd kiss you first, mostly because she wouldn't hesitate to. If she wants to kiss you, and you don't say no, she's gonna kiss you - who cares who's watching, or that it's your first kiss!
-I don't think she'd wait that long to kiss you, maybe a few weeks into your relationship, at most a month
-I'd say she's a pretty good kisser, seeing how the show makes her seem like a bit of player, so I do think she has at least some experience
-A bit rough, but honestly really passionate! As nonchalant as she may act at times, she truly does care about you about you, and it shines through in moments like this
-Definitely not a short kiss - not quite making out, but it does last longer than just a few seconds
-Despite all her big talk, she's smiling like an idiot after, and there's a slight blush coating her cheeks
The audience erupts into cheers and applause, as the two of you cross the finish Line. but what else did you expect, when racing with the champion? The two of you come to a stop, as you take it all in, looking around at all people celebrating you two, not noticing Greaseball looking at you instead. Before you even realise it, there is suddenly a pair of hands on your hips, and the Engine you've come to love mere inches from your face. When you don't pull away, or look uncomfortable, she goes for it, and finally kisses you! Her lips were a bit rough, and perhaps a bit callous - she never did seem like one for skincare. But in that moment you didn't care, because as imperfect as either of you may be, this moment was all you could ever dream of. And despite the cheers only growing louder, as you close your eyes and wrap your arms around her, everything else seems to just disappear.
Electra
-I feel like it could be either of you initiating the first kiss, really just depends on how forward of a person you are
-I mentioned in a previous post, that I think of Electra as more of a private person, so it probably happened while cuddling, a stay in date, or while somewhere where no one else is (Like while stargazing on an empty field, or taking a walk (a skate?) through a less travelled by area!
-I don't think that they wait a specific amount of time for the first kiss, instead just waiting for the right moment, so it could take anything from 2 weeks to 2 months till it happens
-While they are a at least a decent kisser, i actually don't think they have much experience (unless you view them and the components as a polycule ofc), and that inexperience does shine through a bit
-It would be a soft kiss, them being slightly hesitant, but a very loving one
-as for how long the kiss lasts, that's entirely on you - they're not pulling away until you are :)
-Bit of a basic headcanon, but they might accidentally shock you while kissing; not the type to actually hurt you, it just makes you feel a bit tingly for a moment! It's a good thing, though, that's them letting their guard down around you
It's a quiet night, for once, with you and Electra cuddled up on the couch. Only starlight knows where the components ran off to, and even the freight crew seemed to be asleep for once, and Electra couldn't imagine something more blissful. Their eyes wandered from the window to you, laying on their shoulder, in peaceful silence. They always find you beautiful, but today the light seemed to fall on you perfectly, making you seemingly glow. "what?" you question with a soft smile, now staring back at them. They open their mouth to answer, but instead their eyes wander to your lips, and before they realise it, they kiss you. It is as gentle as the night, and if they could, they'd make this moment last forever
Rusty
-you'd definitely have to be the one to initiate, even if he wants to, he'd get to flustered and chicken out
-That also means you're in charge of how long into you're relationship until the kiss! Tough I don't think he's the type to rush things, so maybe wait at least a few weeks ;)
-Most likely while out on a date - I can see you two on a spontaneous date, stargazing somewhere (can you tell that i like stargazing?), and he's rambling on about constellations and maybe the starlight express, while you're just thinking about how pretty he looks in the moonlight, before you simply decide to kiss him
-He'd be so shocked at first, he completely freezes for a moment. He has no idea what to do.
-I don't think he has much experience. Honestly? You're probably his first kiss ever, so even after finally realising that he should probably kiss you back, he'd still be a bit awkward - He's absolutely giving it his all, tough :)
-There is so much love in this one kiss, it's unbelievable! While he may not know what he's doing, it's still a very soft kiss
-He'd be blushing like Crazy after, and is more likely than not to flustered to look you in the eyes, it's cute, really
Both of you had looked forward to this day for a while now: you're shared day off! You've just been running around the yard together, doing whatever came to mind; neither of you had planned anything specific. And now, to end the day, the two of you had settled on a patch of grass, near the tracks, watching the stars!... Or rather, you're meant to be looking at the stars, but instead your eyes settled on the Steamer next to you. On your Steamer. He was talking about one of the constellations, tough you've stopped listening to the specifics a while ago. Not because you don't want to, but rather because it's hard to focus with how sweet he looks when exited. He eventually halts his talking, when he finally notices you staring at him, as a light blush appears on his cheeks, followed by a nervous smile - but before he can question you're gaze, you're lips are on his, and he freezes. He's tought about what your first kiss would be like quite a few times now, planned his reaction even, and yet it's as if he's forgotten every though he ever had. He smiles as he eases into the kiss, sure it might not be perfect, but it's better than everything he#s ever dreamed off.
Dinah
-Another one where it could be either of you
-if she's the one to initiate, she probably wouldn't wait all that long, but would want to do it during a particularly sweet moment
-I can imagine you two baking or cooking together (or her baking/cooking while you occasionally help, if you don't like baking/cooking) and it ends in a small flour fight, and that somehow ends in you two kissing (I think in this one you'd be the one initiating)
-Or, referencing a previous post of mine, you doing well in a race and while celebrating together (or rather her tackling you immediately after), with everything just feeling perfect, when one of you finally makes the move (In this one it would probably be her initiating)
-I do think that she has some experience, not a crazy lot, but a bit, she knows what she's doing
-The kiss is as energetic as her, with as much love as a train can give! It's still sweet sweet, not the most gentle, but definitely sweet
-she'd be giggling after, with her forehead against you, all the stereotypical sweet stuff, and if it's in a more private setting, she'd steal a second kiss a few seconds after, if you let her :)
With a local festival coming up, Dinah had volunteered to bake cupcakes, and as her loving partner, she invited you over to help! You had the shed to yourself, the other coaches all being busy with preparations themselves. It started out as any other time, laying out the ingredients, the occasional laugh, pre-heating the oven, before ending in the unavoidable flour fight. And now here you are, covered on flour, giggling, while simply enjoying each others presence. Though you can't help but just admire her for a second, the way the white flour looks almost like highlights in her hair, the wide smile on her face, as her laugh echos around the room. As you move to ruffle some flour out of her hair, your eyes wander to her lips, and after one quick look to wordlessly ask for consent, your lips are on hers, the cupcakes completely forgotten

Could I get headcanons about the Bochum Components (separately) ( or if you don't want to do all of that, then please, at least Joule and Wrench) Dating a steam engine reader? How do Electra and the others think about this? what is racing with them like? How on earth did they get together? That type of thing.
(Electra obviously sees how happy said component is with reader and how respectful they are to their partner that Electra begrudgingly is like "fine, whatever. Date them if you want" lol 😆)
So I wasn’t sure if you also wanted Krupp and Purse, but if you do then just send in another ask for those two :] I’m obsessed with the components so you’re getting all of them.

Wrench
Although Wrench has more something with Electrics first and Diesels second. I feel like she would still be fascinated by how steam engines work and how they look on the inside (Kind of morbid, but she’s a repair truck what did you expect?)
That’s to say the way I think you two would meet is her actually finally getting permission to properly work on a steam engine from Electra. Who kind of waved her off after she insisted, but hey a win is a win
She manages to meet you not long after and asks you if you would be willing for her to tinker around on and because she’s rather known for being an amazing repair truck (also extremely pretty) you agree!
From then on the two of you get closer and closer until you decide to ask her out. Because of the obvious stance Electra has on steam engines, she would not make the first move, but when you ask her and look so cute, who is she to say no?
At first she might be a bit skittish? But eventually gets really comfortable in the relationship. So much so that she’s not afraid of the repercussions she might face with Electra
When they find out about the relationship between you and Wrench at first they think that you’re trying to take her for your own benefit. Which causes some tension to say the least
After he’s sure that won’t happen and Wrench explains to him that she’s dating you, but won’t just give up her job with him he’ll ‘allow’ it.
The rest of the components are just happy that Wrench finally has someone that might be able to drag her away from work whenever she seems to be overworking. (She swears up and down she’s not an overworker buuuuut we all know she is)
On the bright side she does figure out how to properly repair steam engines, so you gain a repair truck that could repair you with her eyes closed. Sadly this does mean that whenever you do something stupid you have to go to your girlfriend :,]
Killerwatt
You met Killerwatt on his surprising day off. You see he doesn’t have a bunch of those as he usually had to make sure Electra was safe about 24/7, but since Electra was in a completely safe place he found himself with a lot of free time he didn’t know what to do with
So he managed to find a quiet place for himself to watch engines, coaches, carriages and more do their normal thing. It was one of the things he knew he enjoyed, something about everyone doing their own thing while he watched and thought about why they would do it was peaceful.
That was when he found himself meeting a steam engine who saw him sitting by himself and asked if he wanted some company. He ended up accepting and from then on the two of you slowly got closer
This man is actually horrible with feelings, so he didn’t exactly know how to deal with it. So once again you’re the one who had to go to him to confess. He told you he had to figure out his feelings and that it wasn’t a rejection, he’s just really bad at knowing what he felt
After a while he came to you and accepted your feelings, giving you a heads up that his boss might not be too happy about it, but that didn’t matter to you. You had him as your partner now
When Electra found out she was shocked, what do you mean her security truck of all people decided to go towards the enemy?! After finding out you’re not getting close to Killerwatt to get close to her, she seemed more at ease around you. As well as didn’t care Killerwatt was dating you, you treat him right so he has no problems or complaints about it
The components are rather shocked that you managed to get together with Killerwatt, he might be often used as the messenger, but he barely goes to anyone out of his own. They’re happy for you, but also very much like :o he talks to people besides us?! Crazy
Please get this man to chill sometimes though. His back must be so fucking locked up, holy shit-
Volta
Honestly I feel like you’d meet her while she’s out testing out one of her new whips and you’re… whipped. I’m so funny sometimes- Anyways!
She eventually notices that you’re staring at her and is at first a bit… hesitant to come up to you, but she decides why not? Her boss could be unhappy with it, but if it came to it she would just explain that she wanted to make sure you went on with your day instead of standing there to chat
When she properly met you though… Now that kind of turned her plan upside down as you were just absolutely lovely. From then on out she kind of felt the need to keep talking to you more?
After talking for a long time and you helping her with her troubles that she isn’t able to vent out due to her being so close with Electra, she asks you out. She’s like one of the components that is least ‘fearful’ of what Electra would do
Her way with words is moving to say the least and how can you say no to her, when you’re also incredibly into her? So after that the two of you start dating
When Electra found out about the two of you they felt kind of betrayed by Volta especially with the zero regard of their feelings. Volta rather quickly sets them straight though as she reminds him that it’s her life and not Electra’s and that she can either deal with it or suffer. Yeah that shut him up real fast
The components are just happy to have you around, they’re not super thrilled about it, but they’re not disliking you for dating Volta. They have to warm up to you a little, but you’ll be in their little family in no time
Goodluck with someone with that kind of aura, you’re gonna need it-
Joule
The way you met Joule was because of her deciding that she wanted to cause chaos that day. At first she wanted to just cause some mayhem, but after seeing your sweet steam engine ass she knew exactly what she was going to do
Joule was going to cause the most chaos she can: Befriend a steamer :] because she knows that it will just send the yard in some kind of confusion when people see her hang out with a steam engine
Plus you’re hot so she’s coming for that ass
At first that’s kind of a joke, but after getting to know you she actually really enjoys hanging out with you? Not to mention that you can keep up with her rather feisty and fiery personality
After realizing all of that she is so quick to ask you out. She makes a show out of it and everything, because she wants you to know just how special you are to her. It’s kind of hard to say no to, but trust me that she’ll do this with an audience only if you’re okay with it. If you don’t like big crowds or big gestures she’ll just do something super Joule like on a smaller scale
Either way is super happy when you say yes to her offer and will absolutely constantly litter you with affection, until you say you’re uncomfortable or that you need some space or something
When Electra finds out he’s not even surprised or mad or anything. Maybe a little disappointed, but they knew that Joule of all the components is the one that listens to them the least. Or at least finds a way to bend his rules to the point where he just gave up. So at least you won’t get the electric engine on your ass
As for the components… congrats you’re now Joule’s leash, whenever she doesn’t listen to any of the other components they’re going to you to try and coax her out of whatever stupid thing she’s doing now
She’s a handful, but she’s your handful :]
Bonus Null (post-2018 Volta)
Lastly we have Null who you meet by accidentally just smacking in against him. This was in front of Electra and the entire rest of the components so you’re kind of in hot water at first
Null is kind of salty that your heavy engine ass like smacked against him completely, but after being so kind and genuinely apologetic he decides to give you a chance. A very reluctant one mind you
Well you turn his entire view upside down when he properly gets to meet you and he finally lets his rather harsh mean boy walls fall down eventually. That way you won’t get a snide remark every five minutes or so
You have to be the one to confess to him though, because even though he can and kind of wants to. He is a romantic at heart and is just waiting for you to do it so he can brag about it to the rest of the components
If you give him the confession in true romance novel style and go out of your way to make it perfect for him? He’s in love with you forever and ever and ever. Good luck getting rid of him now, you’re going to keep his ass now
When Electra finds out she grills you a little bit for having that bump in with Volta as she’s very protective over her components especially when they’re not someone like Killerwatt or Wrench, but eventually is fine with you. This one isn’t even that badly about the steam engine thing
The components are a bit wary of you, but quickly warm up to you and are just happy that Null has someone he can brag about and talk about. Although it gets annoying after a while
IDK, if I did the second ask right, so I'm gonna do it again. For the components dating a steam engine reader, YES ABSOLUTELY, WHY IS THIS EVEN A QUESTION!! I would indeed like Purse and Krupp, they deserve love too❣️❣️

Krupp
You met Krupp through Electra actually. Although they don’t particularly like steam engines, you were alright and Krupp needed someone else to talk to besides the components. It was just a natural progression
At first you were the only one really talking as he was incredibly quiet, just listening to you yap on about whatever you had going on that day. If you didn’t feel like talking the two of you just often sat in silence with each other
And quite frankly Krupp loved it. He loved that someone understood him besides the rest of the components and Electra. It was nice having a friend outside of everything and before he knew it, he fell hard for you
I feel with Krupp the two of you dance around each other for a while. Krupp is horrible at outing emotions so to confess to you is incredibly hard for him and for you it’s hard to even read if he’s happy or angry or sad, so how in the world are you supposed to figure out
Eventually Krupp finally finds the words to properly confess and of course you accept his feelings. Although it feels a bit more like a business transaction than a heartfelt confession, but honestly it’s not what you were expecting with Krupp anyways
Electra seemed actually ecstatic about the fact that you and Krupp got together. It almost felt like they were matchmaking you two and although you want to be a bit salty about it, can you really complain?
The components are super happy for the two of you, since you are Electra’s friend, you’re everyone’s friend. Now you’re with Krupp they’re even happier that the armaments truck found someone to confide in besides them
Do be ready to be like 24/7 around the others as well as Krupp barely leaves their side-
Purse
The way you met Purse was during a time when Purse needed to get somewhere, but Electra was at that point busy with a check up and every other engine usually helping Purse out was busy
So you were assigned to help him out and although he was hesitant to even touch your couplings in the end after a bit of complaining and mumbling how disgusting steamers were he actually did it
And then he had to sit through the fact that even though you were ‘a nasty steamer’ you were actually amazing to hang out with. You were funny and not a doormat to his mean girl routine
In other words this man fell head over heels for you and he got just slightly salty about the fact that he was so in love with you. So much so that he decided to somehow be petty towards… himself? And just stubbornly refused to confess to you
This left you kind of tumbling around in limbo for a long time, because at one point he looked at you like you hung the stars in the sky yourself and at other times he hated your guts?
Eventually Purse gets the stick out of his ass and gets over himself to finally confess to you. Of course you happily accept and the two of you get together. I hope you’re ready because this man is such high maintenance-
Electra is actually shocked when she finds out about you two dating, because never in a million years would she have guessed that Purse would date a steam engine. You shock that man so badly that he doesn’t really say anything about it and just let yall do your thing?
The rest of the components are not that shocked, but they are happy for the two of you. You do get some good lucks from people like Krupp and Wrench as they know that Purse can sometimes be a lot
