Join me for a burger and fries. // Bobby & Johnny
Food was all that was on Johnny’s mind right now. The lad had spent the day training and lord did he need it, but after a couple of hours of literally burning energy and fat, he needed food. Something fast and something fatty before he died. That was probably an exaggeration but it didn’t feel like one.
Johnny entered the diner, the bells above the door jingling away to alert the staff of a new customer. He liked the diner, it was one of the few places he could go where he wouldn’t be hounded by crazed fans or paparazzi; not that he didn’t love the attention —really, he did— but he’d learnt in recent years that sometimes it was better to stay out of the limelight.
He headed over to the counter, ordered copious amounts of food, and turned to find himself a table to sit at. Did he mention he liked the diner? There always seemed to be a familiar face settled down in one of these booths… And Johnny found it; Bobby Drake.
He made his way over to Bobby’s table and dropped into the chair opposite, sliding in and smirking mischievously at the friend he hadn’t seen in so long. “What’s up, Iceface? Long time no see.”
Bobby looked up from his meal into the face of none other than the one and only Johnny Storm. He grinned and shoved one last french fry into his mouth. "Hey there, hot-head. Miss me?" Johnny was one of the last people he'd expected to see out at the diner. He'd never run into him before.. but then again, it had definitely been a while since he'd been back. It was probably his fault they'd even fallen out of touch.
"What have you been up to, lately, man? I feel like it's been way too long!" They'd been out of touch since before the accident and the kidnapping and the disappearance. They really did have a shit ton to catch up on. It was nice to be around him again though.. to see a familiar face who didn't know everything. Bobby picked a piece of bacon from his burger and shoved it into his mouth. "Tell me about your life!"
