Celebrate #Juneteenth with an art exhibition! Presented in partnership with the Romare Bearden Foundation, “Creating Community. Cinque Gallery Artists,” is the first introductory survey to focus on the innovative non-profit artists’ space dedicated to promoting the achievements of Black artists from its founding in 1969, until its closure in 2004. The exhibition features paintings, works on paper, photographs, sculptures, and archival documents drawn from loans and The Art Students League's permanent collection, and celebrates a diverse selection of late twentieth century and contemporary artists who participated in this pioneering collaborative enterprise.
Among the many prolific artists featured are five artists whose #MTAArts projects are embedded into the fabric of New York City. Romare Bearden, Robert Blackburn, Robin Holder, Al Loving and Sam Gilliam have each left a visual imprint in the NYC subway for all New Yorkers to encounter and absorb along their journey. On view through July 4. https://theartstudentsleague.org/exhibition/cinque_2020/

AO3 is out of beta and they made a 'I was here for beta' badge!
Following this event I felt like we need not only a 'I was here for beta' but also a 'I was here for omega' badge, so I made it:
Feel free to use it! If you want to add the badge to your AO3 bio, here's the code: <img src="https://images2.imgbox.com/d2/88/06XUyY9m_o.png" alt="Circular badge with the words 'I was here for omega' with an AO3 logo">
