I miss my old boss who went braless at a staff meeting and had an outspoken love for Harry Styles which made me feel safe in a way I cannot fully articulate, and I miss my current boss whose last day will be next week and she's the most organized and competent person alive and bonded with me over nerdy stuff. And the man who was there in between can step on a Lego, he was an awful boss.

Childcare worker saga 2, electric boogaloo:
Came home with 5 bodily fluids on me that were not my own to discover my period made her ✨appearance✨. (Got hugged by a sweaty kid, got sneezed on, got spit on, cleaned up blood, and cleaned up urine.) 6 is NOT a good ratio of bodily fluids you should have on you at any given time let alone 5/6 being from other people. 😭
(I showered SO thoroughly. I think my being would qualify as sterile material now if I walked into a medical environment.)

Came home with apple juice down the front of my jeans and discovered a new humiliation ritual. I also have blue ink pen tattoos on my arm, courtesy of a bored kid.
11 AM on a Monday and it's already been a week, man.
