hi! my name is dolly, i’m nineteen, and ever since 2021/2022, i have had a very unhealthy (/hj) obsession with c!goodtimeswithscar and hermitcraft in general, so i decided to make a ocxcanon/yumeship account specifically for it! most if not all of my content will be about my hermitsona/oc, and they will be tagged as such! if you want to learn a little more about me, you can click on my carrd in my bio :)

i feel like i haven’t posted in a second…here’s a niche dolly headcanon: her middle name is ann :) so her full name is dolly ann darling! she has not been full named since she was at least thirteen, and gets mortified when scar somehow finds her middle name and starts going “GASP! dolly ANN darling!!!!”

my favoritest thing in hermitcraft fanfiction is when it takes place in a pseudo-minecraft fantasy realm but the hermits are still sometimes described with their nationalities. like okay this is a world where magic exists and you can respawn after you die and the entirety of reality sometimes gets new features added and new worlds can be created out of thin air, each with their own accompanying otherworldly pocket dimensions, and some people have special admin powers that allow them to alter the fabric of reality, and gods/cosmic horror monsters/a weird cult called the Watchers may or may not inhabit the spaces in between existence. also Canada exists. Canada exists here and we are not going to address it

writing is a fantastic hobby but the kicker is it's a lot harder to show your friends as it's progressing. with a sketch i can show someone and they'll be like oh that's an apple. you can't do that with words until you get a lot of them down. so i'll just be like damn fuckin. uhh. check this out

a lot of c!dolly’s first three seasons consisted of scar dragging her around (against her will) and forcing her to interact with fellow hermits

c!dolly’s backstory is basically like when you’re an alt kid living in a small town and nearly every single person judges you for being out of the norm/not doing what people expect of you and even when someone ISNT judging you, you feel like they secretly are because you’re just so used to being ostracized or sneered at and stared at to the point where you mask your true personality and feel like there’s no one on earth who will ever really accept you or love you for who you really are and. yeah

and then!!! and then imagine you go to a small, tight knit server. and everyone is…friendly, sure, but are they really friendly? they’re telling you they’re happy you’re joining them, and they say if you need anything, you can just come over and ask, but do they really mean that? and everyone already seems to have their little groups already, so you feel weird about intruding, and you’re worried that you’ll forget to mask and weird someone out, so you end up going off by yourself anyways

and then, you realize, pathetically, you cannot compare to them. everyone is good at something—a few people are even good at everything, like they don’t even have to think about it. everyone is naturally funny, or witty, or charismatic, and they know how to build, and do redstone, and have FUN, actual fun. you aren’t any of those things—you can’t do any of these things—you just feel so inferior. so all you can do is stay holed up in your little house that you think is so small and ugly and out of place compared to everyone else’s and try to keep your head down, because it’s what you’ve taught yourself to do

one of the best parts of making up increasingly wild and specific aus with a friend is sending them posts like "this is sooo blorbo in torture chamber au number 15" and they reply back like "YESSS btw have i told you about my latest idea for how to torture them even more" and you get to enjoy a little snack and kick your feet with glee
