Texting and Walking: Silliness at it's Finest
So I usually talk about music in my posts, but today is different. Consider this a bit of a PSA. So today I was walking down the street. I am very aware when I am walking, keeping my head up and dodging the normal amount of people. I was about to cross the street when I heard a giant screech and a horn that followed. The big ordeal was because a pedestrian just started walking without looking both ways. I don't know about you but that is one of the first things I learned how to do. The most incredible thing was that the reason they did not look was because they were texting. I had never thought about it until that point, but that is just as dangerous as driving and texting. I can't count how many times someone has ran into me while I was walking because they were more focused on their phone than the outside world. So listeners, I urge you to be more aware, because this is a real problem and I wouldn't want anybody to get hurt because of this. A conversation is a lot less important than a life.Â
Taco Princess Out! <3
METAL RAGING TODAY ON OH HELLO RADIO. TUNE IN!
OMG COACHELLA NOSTALGIA
So if you have Instagram then you know that the gathering of the hipster nation of California we call Coachella has come to an abrupt end. Although you may not have showered for five days, thrown up breakfast beer in the morning, and forgot sunscreen entirely, this was the most beautiful experience your little heart has ever felt. Don’t worry kittens, they’ll just charge you an arm and a leg next year as well. Hipster nation lives on.
Also happening this weekend was the hippie hill extravaganza, 4\20. However, this girl was stuck inside work on Haight street…. Watching everyone else. This years event has brought in more of a crowd than I have ever seen before. Thousands of people with the reddest eyes took over Haight street on Sunday and soaked up each others chill energy. So entertaining to watch.
If you were at either event and have an awesome story to tell about it, give us a call. (415)338-1532. Catch the lovely taco princess and I at 4PM tomorrow at ksfsmedia.net/radio for a metal party. I’m wearing black, obviously.

HOLLA FO A DOLLA
If you have never been on the street by yourself and rolled around to your favorite song by yourself, you are doing something wrong. Just hear me out, I know that it may seem silly and sort of unpleasant, but if you put that aside, it is the most fulfilling things in the world. You will feel like a little furry creature without a care in the world. The other night I was feeling the stress of a regular college student: work, people, school. I was just so worn out from being a human and felt the need to sink into my skin. I decided to listen to my music. I flipped my iPod to The Dodos song "Trades and Tariff" and instantly felt the pressures of being a person lifted from the muscles in my back. I began to sing a bit then decided to just go all for it. I was dancing around and signing and having a good time. Yeah I probably looked freaking insane but I did not mind. The normal lifeless stares of the pedestrians waiting with me for the same bus weren't killing my vibe. I kept on prancing. This instance is when I really appreciate the power of music. ALL HAIL THE POWER OF MUSIC. If you are in a poor mood music can lift you from the undying need to implode. Music has helped me escape this feeling of uncertainty and anxiety so many times. Let it do the same for you. Stay in School kittens.

Hello my loves!Â
This week I have so much to talk about! First of all I hope all of you had a FANTASTIC spring break! I definitely had a crazy experience. For all you rave goers, you are well aware that the first weekend of the Ultra Music Festival went down in Miami this weekend! Although the festival did not sell out this year it was still a poppin' party for sure! Last year with two weekends there were a reported 330,000 people! Talk about bathroom lines.... However I spent my weekend in the always exciting Las Vegas for the first time ever. Although I ran into my fair share of creepy men and rude women, I had the time of my life! I really do feel bad for guys in Vegas though. As a girl I don't think i spent more than $200 the whole weekend however I went to clubs were men were paying $125 just to get in! (That is without drinks!) The companies in Vegas know how to target an audience to make the most profit but I would NEVER go to Vegas if I was male. Definitely not worth it. The other thing I found really helpful while there was an app that would show me all the events for the night and I could put myself and my girlfriends on a guest list and get in for free! Most of the time they gave you free drink tickets too! Needless to say it was a very fast-paced but fun weekend and I cannot wait to go back for the ELECTRIC DAISY CARNIVAL IN JUNE!!!Â
Let me know what music festivals you are all excited for!Â
Don't forget to tune in this Tuesday also to hear my lovely voice!

Oh, Hello Radio
Hello BB angels!
This is DJ Taco Princess on your feed. What I would like to talk about tonight is the electronic indie rock genre. As you may know, I am super down for this type of music. I love synthy dreamy beats along with intense and catchy lyrics. I think that electronic music is a big thing right now because of how versatile and fun it is. It can be upbeat and dance oriented, or it can be sad and melodic. It has so much versatility and expression. SO I encourage you to listen to our show tomorrow from 4-5PM on ksfsmedia.net/radio and give me your opinions! Call in at anytime and give me suggestions. I am always looking for new music. Alright lovlies, have a sweet night and make sure to tune in tomorrow!

ANNNNDDD we are back! This is Mother Earth here coming at you guys yet again. This week I have found myself reflecting on many things in life that I am thankful for. This first thing I’d like to personally say I am grateful for is my hearing. For without it, I couldn’t be doing what I am every Tuesday or any day of the week! I know it sounds so cliché, but music really sets my soul free. There is something so liberating about a melody that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up and I LIVE for that kind of feeling. Without a doubt music has really brought me out of some of the harder struggles in my life and I really don’t know how else I could have done it. It amazes me that some of the artists I listen to seemed to know exactly what lyrics to write that were completely relevant to me. Although everyone experiences music differently, we all gain some sort relaxing pleasure from our favorite tune in our heads. This week’s genre is that of Ms. Taco Princesses choice that I cannot even really describe.(LOL). However, next week we are going to be showcasing a genre that speaks near and dear to my irie heart, reggae. Get your ears ready kittens, this one is going to be a doozy. Feel free to give us a call at any time! We want to hear from you! (415)338-1532

Hey Homies!
This is DJ Taco Princess at your service. As you noticed Mother Earth and I do a venue review every week on our show. We both love, LOVE, L O V E, going to live music events so it is just fitting that we talk about the venues we see our favorite artists at. Some of you may know that I work for the schools venue as a planner, promoter, booker, and event assistant manager. I think it is important to maintain live music as well as the recorded music we play on our show. Music is a tie that people are infused with whether it be your best friend showing you a song or your ex, an emotion is tied to the memory and that specific song has meaning to you as an individual. That is why I love music, it has a passion that no one can take away from you. That is why I will continue to work with music whether it me putting on a show or playing music over the radio for all you lovely listeners. I hope you have a nice night!
Make sure to tune in tomorrow from 4-5PM with Mother Earth and I. Follow us on Instagram too! @OhhelloradioÂ
