This may be a bit racist but if I ever write a good cubesmp fanfic then the girl main character will not be white, she will not wear high waisted shorts all the time, and she will not be self conscious or have depression or self harm because that seems to be the reoccurring thing here in basic cube fanfics that get all the reads. Like I’m just saying I’ve never heard of a person of any color being the person in question in any cube fanfic

BUT! There is something I dont agree with here. The whole “problem” part with the main character thing. I feel most writers try to make things highly relatable, especially with stories like these. Everyone has insecurities in one way or another.

Another thing is that NOT ALL GIRLS ARE SKINNY (ME) Not all girls can pull off high waisted shorts. 

And what is it with the easy going parents in these fanfictions? “Oh, you went off past curfew? Its fine, honey!” NO. PARENTS ARENT LIKE THAT. ESPECIALLY WITH TEENAGE CHARACTERS.

This is hella true dude. Like I wanna see a curvy girl or a girl with some thighs. Or a girl who has some fat on them and nobody gives any f’s. Or a girl who doesn’t wear bikinis all the time because maybe she is a little insecure about her body because she is not skinny. But my problem is that the girls are always perfect bodied individuals who are still insecure about wearing a bikini like if you’ve got it flaunt it. And they always have to have some sad sap backstory that makes everyone feel bad for them. And I bet you if the main character was black she would not be doing stupid stuff and her parents wouldn’t let her do this dumbass stuff. And maybe if the main character wasn’t so skinny all the time they could take the time to write where they enjoy a nice hamburger and fries without worrying about getting fat instead of sticking with a basic kale salad. Just saying the same basic non coloured main character is the same exact person with the same exact depression/anxiety issues or family issues in every single story. Which is why I took it upon myself to write one so maybe I can be happy with at least one cube fanfic

Yes it is still up and yes it is bad. My Wattpad id BenadrylCactusSnatch and the book I’m talking about is When we were young and The story of we. But the old one is called Cubesmp: together. I use 1 name all the time is you notice which I hate but I never have any good names besides Esmeralda and Leilani
