So like,,, I'm thinking of making a Satan x Reader series based on the Spy x Family premise. Like imagine the brothers are like spies under Dia or smth and then given the most important mission because Lucifer can't and the rest can't be trusted but somehow he grew to like his fake family who got more and more involved in his family's secret business ?? And ofc, a cat instead of a dog bc how helpful will that be ??? Or even both lolol. But tbh I don't know what to name the child or have it a boy or girl. Sighhh

Just wanna say that it is as off-putting when I'm reading a fic that is said to be for POC (which is smth I'm excited for since I'm South East Asian) and only realise that it's meant for black people because of the hair types y'all use. Like specify it please and not just say POC bc it's so diverse.

Like I get the concept of creating more fics for POC bc there's so many catered to white ppl but how about we just forego the description for anything and focus more on the relationship between characters and the plot, especially if it's a self insert.

There is no need to even put [your eye colour] or [hair colour] like we get it, it's just eyes and hair, people's own imagination will fill it in automatically whether be it of your own or some random colour you like.

But if you don't like what I'm saying, piss off: my post, my blog, my rules. It's not like I intrude on your space and send you hate just cause of your fics.

Anyone knows what this fic name now is or who it belongs to? It was previously named Espresso by Libiraki on AO3 but I think the account is no longer there, wondering if they migrated or renamed entirely.

I think the premise is a yandere Hawks x Reader with a sprinkle of Dabi (?), can't really remember and nth much can be learnt from the comments between the the creator and myself.

just imagining having a child with Diluc and you needing to go somewhere quite far. Thank Barbatos that your child doesn't cry as badly anymore as you're leaving but a day later, that same child is knocking on uncle Kaeya's office asking when you'll be back.

Kaeya going soft - thinking how even as they've grown, they're still their little baby - yet teasing them asking if they miss you.

Nodding, "Yeah, I miss Mommy but Daddy misses her more."

OH Kaeya has basically been served some gold blackmail material. So he goaded them asking how they know.

With big doe eyes staring into a sapphire one, they gave out a loud sigh, shoulders slumping dramatically for emphasis. "Daddy does that a lot more when he misses Mommy." Then they furrowed their eyebrows and squnting - more like scrunching their eyes close, "and this too."

It wasn't Kaeya's intention to burst out laughing - after all he's a fine gentleman and it's hard to make the ever suave Cavalry Captain to laugh that hard with his tendency to put up appearances, but he had a soft spot for the little one - but it was definitely Kaeya's intention to reenact that same scene at the bar later that night - and almost burnt to death by the tavern owner with bright red hair, brighter flames on his claymore and an oh so bright face as well, matching his red hair and flames - and of course, at the biweekly family dinner - hosted by you despite the annoyance of your husband and amusement of your brother in law - after you return.

Diluc doesn't know how Kaeya had turn his own child against him when they both act out all his grumpiness (only gone when said child is napping in his arms) in all its glory for your entertainment.

If dabi truly cared for his family he wouldn't do this.

He wouldn't reveal his identity trying to cancel endeavor.

He knows this will hurt rei and his siblings,he knows that this is gonna follow all of them for the rest of their lifes.By staying away from his family endeavor wanted them to start a new life but dabi just ruined every chance of that happening for his own selfish gains.

so can we stop viewing him as some secret soft boy? He's a selfish prick who doesn't care about anyone but himself and honestly that's the best route horikoshi can go with his character

Honestly, pls learn how to distinguish between canon and fanon. Just because a lot of the fandom perceive him that way, doesn't mean he is written that way.

Dabi is a complex character. He did say he went crazy thinking abt his family after the fight with Snatch (the sand hero). So to say that he didn't think of ways to reveal the abuser in a way that it won't negatively impact his family is just downright wrong. You're selectively picking evidence against him.

He tolerated the physical abuse from Endeavor, despite him knowing that Dabi/Touya can't wield his Quirk without proper equipment. He didn't give two shits if his son is suffering just for the sake of his delusional dream. He neglected a child's needs to go to a doctor or giving him equipment (like Aoyama). What did he do instead? Have more children until the right one comes along.

The idea of this is basically playing with genetics and bordering on rape. It's no brainer that Rei mentally broke down after all those years. So as the eldest, witnessing and understanding all the abuse, it'll of course break him as well. To know that Shouto is going through what he did but possibly 10× worse, Rei seen as a lunatic just because of Endeavor's pr cover and his abuser being hailed as a great hero saving million when he's an actual villain in the family. If he doesn't care about his family, he would've just left. Never engage with them anymore and playing dead, starring a new life somewhere.

What did he do instead? He became a villain to shed light onto the abuse and bring him down from the pedestal people put him on.

There are better ways he could have done it but what he's doing isn't just getting revenge. If revenge is really what he was after, he could've burnt Endeavor to a crisp, edging him on the verge of death, but never killing him and only telling Endeavor that he is the son who everyone thought was dead. Then, there's the emotional and physical pain.

What did he do instead? He's trying to change the perspective of the people on heroes like Endeavor. And to do so, you can't just be going to social services or do things a non-lethal way. Endeavor is a massive power and the commission would not allow heroes' image to be tainted. To create a rippled effect which will not be forgotten and actually sway your audience's view, you have to do something big. Sure, you can argue that it'll create a more devastating impact on Endeavor because his fame and people's faith in him would plummet hence he's still seeking revenge. BUT he's basically telling Endeavor to die with him.

So why would Dabi go through all the trouble to reveal to the world what really happened when the man in question is dead if he's really out for revenge?

He does care for his family in his own way but from the way I see it, his own desire to find absolute justice (in an extremist way) outweighs that due to the many years of neglect and abuse he has suffered.

PS. Just saying that with the way he revealed the truth, he's gonna be shedding light to people's abuse from heroes in general. It's really similar to how people in real life comes out about their stories of abuse and with one person coming out then comes many others.

PSS. I find it really similar to All Might?? Like All Might believes that he's the only one who's capable of standing as the Symbol of Peace and to take down AFO hence he disregarded Nighteye's concern. He even went as far as to not talking to him and ignoring his existence. Does that mean he doesn't care about Nighteye? No, he does. It's just his belief in that he's the only one who can do what he's supposed to do outweighs that. Similarly, Dabi believes he's the only one (I mean who else was abused by Endeavor and and has the power to take him down?? No one, I can think of.) who can bring Endeavor down and alongside that, the belief that heroes are all good with no flaws making people worship them.

PSSS. As a literature student, I believe it's really good story-telling once people can debate about both characters and plots and symbolism, etc so I'm just frothing at the mouth with Horikoshi's writing 🤤🤤🤤
