ashwini women and being a masc lesbian: more likely than you think
It's funny how the two actually handsome leading men of Esnyr's highschool series have Uttara Ashadha moon, Jayson David and Anthony Constantino. They had generated more attention about their handsomeness than let's say Jeremiah Lisbo and Shan Vesagas. Brent Manalo is a different story. He has Dhanishtha moon which is already evident by his "rich" character and status. That elevates him.
They are all handsome in their own way, but it's just funny how the sun nakshatras, and especially Uttara Ashadha, are very prominent among male celebrities in the Philippines applauded for their handsomeness.
Jyeshtha can amass armies of incorrigible fans istg They have great fame, but their fans??? Absolute SHIT
Taylor Swift (Jyeshtha Sun) - Swifties
RM, especially since he's the backbone of BTS (Jyeshtha Moon and Asc) - ARMYs
Nicki Minaj (Jyeshtha Sun) - Barbz
Jennie (Jyeshtha ASC) - Blinks
Jyeshthas suns are the biggest offenders because they are more prone to paranoia about being replaced than any other naks, so they seek to bring down people to stay relevant. Jyeshtha moons are often the receiver of jealousy, but when left unchecked, they get this ego about like "oh everyone's obsessed with me, it must because i'm so great blah blah blah" and proceeds to get an inflated ego.
That is not to say that Jyeshthas aren't talented. They are. They wouldn't be famous otherwise. It is simply when fame and material success get to their head that they just lose morality or something. They want to stay at the top even after death if possible that they fail to evolve.
This is why Mula comes after Jyeshtha. It is the destruction and dissolution of materialism which then starts the path to spiritual transcendence.
But on a more positive note, evolved Jyeshthas are simply too powerful. They are the epitome of "see it, like it, want it, got it". They are so nice and kind and genuinely want to lift the community up. They are great at their craft, and create opportunities for everyone. As the last nakshatra for the "community and society" nakshatras, and being termed as the "eldest", it is quite prophetic that Jyeshthas are the uplifters of their community in the material world. No one can stop the martian drive of Scorpio, I guess.
Jaemin and His Most Common Characters in AO3
It says something about the astrological energies at play on his chart. (Uses Vedic Astrology)
1. The Cryptid/Eldritch Horror (Ashlesha Sun)
- Ashlesha can be described as quite cautious. Its yoni is the cat after all and the cat chooses when to trust you. Ashlesha is also ruled by the celestial serpent kingdom, which includes the Nagas, and we can often see how that plays in his more cryptid aspect as he often has a more serpentine look to him. Or if not serpentine, then mysterious. Ashlesha is a mysterious nakshatra after all.
2. The Supposed to Be Assassinated Prince (Ashlesha Sun)
- It's just funny how Jaemin is often relegated into royalty roles only to be assassinated by the king or any other royalty member. It echoes how the Hydra (a multi-headed serpent), represented by Ashlesha, is destroyed by Hercules (who gains honor by killing it) which represents Magha, and Magha also represent royalty. It is also esoteric in the sense that one has to defeat Ashlesha (debauchery) in order to gain Magha (honor and authority).
3. Cat Hybrid (Ashlesha Sun)
- Ashlesha's yoni is the cat.
4. Snake Hybrid (Ashlesha Sun)
- Ashlesha's deity is the serpentine kingdom.
5. The Popular Sex God/Play Boy (Uttara Ashadha Moon)
- Uttara Phalguni is more attuned to the playboy archetype, but Uttara Ashadha is also a strong contender. This is because they are both ruled by the Sun, and the Sun does not discriminate and shines its light onto everything. While Uttara Ashadha certainly has more discernment, 3/4 of it being in Capricorn which is ruled by Saturn, it's definitely still a playboy. (Although, not all Uttara Ashadha natives are playboys. The women especially aren't.)
6. Manic Pixie Dream Girl (Uttara Ashadha Moon)
- He also plays this archetype in his drama with Jeno, Wind Up! In the most basic sense, the Sun lights everything up and in Uttara Ashadha (and Uttara Phalguni), the natives are the embodiment of the sun themselves who always try to light up everyone's days.
To end:
These aren't all the characters he plays, but they are one of my favorite ones. Also funnily enough, the debate on whether Jaemin is an omega or an alpha is a dichotomy of his placements itself. Ashlesha and Uttara Ashadha are enemies, literally opposite of each other in the astrological wheel. What Ashlesha is, Uttara Ashadha isn't. What Uttara Ashadha is, Ashlesha isn't. To argue that Jaemin is an omega or an alpha lacks to comprehend that he can be, is, and should be both.
Ashlesha is an omega. Uttara Ashadha is an alpha.
To add:
NaHyuck is such a fun ship because they are destined to be rivals/enemies/annoyances to lovers. Haechan is a Pushya Moon and Jaemin is an Uttara Ashadha Moon. Saturn and Sun. Cancer and Capricorn. Literal OPPOSITES. Opposites attract at their best.
JaemJen shouldn't work, but it does. Their moon signs are incompatible a bit, but their sun signs are! Their dynamic is the one who shines and the one shone upon. Saver and Saved. This is interchangeable as Ashwini saves Ashlesha and Uttara Ashadha saves Mula.
NCT Jisung: Virgo Rising?
Let's use the Mahadasha Periods to check.
I have always been curious as to what Jisung's rising sign would be, as one always usually does. And I have always felt that he's a Virgo rising. I struggled between Hasta and Uttara Phalguni, but I ultimately landed on Hasta. Don't mind the chart, I just made sure it landed in Virgo.
In this chart, he's an Anuradha moon. For most of the day, the moon is in Vishakha, but no house placement ever felt as right as with a Virgo lagna, for me at least. I think any one in the idol world should have at least a planet in the 10H, 11H and 5H.
Taeyong, Mark, Haechan, Kun all have it.
Let's start!
Jisung first became a trainee on June 19, 2013 (at least according to his memory). This during his Mars antardasha period during his Saturn mahadasha period (2 months after the start of it).
Mars is in a relatively good sign. It is in Pisces and its ruler is Jupiter which it is friends with. Jupiter is 4th from Mars making them friendly towards each other. Saturn is making an 11H aspect to it so there is some Saturnian influence, but since its is 3rd from Mars, their neutrality becomes a friendship.
So, since Mars is in the 7H of contracts, one can immediately deduce that this antardasha is all about creating contracts. He entered SM during this time and became a trainee through a contract. The first 6 months would be about a change in pattern to life as Mars rules Aries first (His 8H), then the next 6 months are about enhancing his skills in fine arts and communication which is the 3H in Scorpio.
The 7H is a kendra house, but it is also a maraka house. However, since Mars is in a relatively good condition, I would not doubt that this antardasha was beneficial.
He debuted on August 24. It is during his Rahu antardasha during Saturn mahadasha (15 months after the start of it).
His Rahu is in the 10H, along with Jupiter. Jupiter is in Gemini which is his detriment. It's ruler is Mercury which is his enemy. Since Mercury is 8th from Jupiter, there is more hatred. Therefore, Jupiter isn't as beneficial. Mars applies a 4H aspect to it, however, since it is in the 7H (Kendra), it is more neutral than harmful.
Rahu being in the 10H as well (Kendra House) is beneficial so over all, this period is quite beneficial. His rahu antardasha was filled with him being in different variety shows too.
His Jupiter antardasha was generally good?. Jupiter is in a bad sign, but a good house. It is in a good relationship with Saturn (mahadasha lord) as Saturn is 12th from it. It has a 4H aspect from Mars, but Mars is in a good house, and is 10th from it. It is approaching its exaltation so it's good towards the end. It's still about fulfilling one's career. The first 15 months which occurred from May 2017 to August 2018 was generally beneficial for the career (NCT 2018 happened here). House matters are good. The next 15 months are worse somehow but also greater. Mark left NCT Dream here (again Mars in 7H of long-term relationships and contracts), but they also released Boom during this time and DNYL. I think Up to You as well. Generally good for the career. (this period was also kind of bad, but i havent checked his D9 to confirm it yet)
Saturn Mahadasha was all about learning how to fulfill one's dream (as Saturn is in the 9H) and now Mercury Mahadasha is all about expressing creativity (Mercury in 5H).
Jisung injured his knee on November 2020 (during the first half of the Mercury antardasha which is in Gemini). The knees are ruled by the 10H and Capricorn and Mercury rules the 10H (Gemini) and is in Capricorn.
Something to note is that Mercury is neutral to Saturn, however since Saturn is 5th from it, they become enemies. Therefore, Mercury is in a bad position. Mostly some bad results.
He became a host of a radio during May 2025. This is during his Venus antardasha (on the latter half) which is in Libra. Libra is in the 2H. 2H rules speech and in a radio you are speaking.
On to the condition of Venus. Venus is in a good house (5H) so it is generally beneficial. It is friends with Saturn (the lord of 5H), but since Saturn is 5th from it, they are instead neutral. We can add the fact that venus and mercury are friends, but are in the same sign so they are neutral. His Venus antardasha is generally more forgiving and beneficial.
It's pretty funny but during this mercury mahadasha, his Sun and Venus will indicate a lot of foreign travel. It is both because of their relationship with Saturn as the lord of the 5H (where Sun and Venus are placed), and Saturn is in the 9H of foreign travels while the 5H is for recreation and creativity.
He was announced to start acting January 14, 2026 during his Sun antardasha during Mercury mahadasha. The Sun is in the 5H which is a good house so generally beneficial period for pursuing creative pursuits and it is the natural ruler of the 5H HOWEVER
Saturn (the ruler of 5H) is an enemy of the Sun, and the fact that Saturn is 5th from it means that they are in VERY BAD TERMS so there will be problems, most especially with creativity and self-confidence.
The sun which is neutral to mercury is also in the same sign so the neutrality is turned into enemy.
The venus antardasha was great, i think this is when he auditioned for Crash 2, and still reaps the effects of it. The sun antardasha is when Mark left and we can see him reeling in the effects of that departure.
He was seen travelling to distant and foreign lands (Portugal and Egypt) which are indicative of the 12H.
I feel like this year will be filled with a lot of uncertainty for him especially as he grapples with the fact that the group is one member short and that one member is like the pillar of the group. I think he doesn't know how to proceed creatively with the group's music without Mark.
His moon antardasha (PREDICTION) will be based around the 3H (moon's placement) and the 11H (where Cancer is). Mars rules the 3H (Scorpio) and Moon is neutral to Mars however, Mars is 5H away so generally not good as mars becomes an enemy. Moon is friends with Mercury and Mercury is 3H away from it so they're better friends. However, Moon is in 3H so its beneficence is neutralized. It is opposite of Saturn so generally bad.
Problems with creative pursuits or short term travels or lack of communication. ambition is not achieved (3H and 11H). it will be a difficult time for Jisung until then. i think a few of nct dream will suffer in 2027. i havent predicted all of them but i do know mark will have health problems by 2027
of course this might not be true if jisung is not a virgo rising because who really knows their birth time anyway?
if you're wondering how to choose whether someone's moon is in one nakshatra or another, just interpret their chart and life patterns using mahadasha periods
Chenle: Shravana or Dhanishtha?
It has been boggling my mind lowkey how I would approach Chenle's Moon sign because I lowkenuinely have been switching between Shravana and Dhanishtha. However, I decided that it's time to finally face my fears and accept that Chenle is not the Shravana girlie I so wanted him to be. He's a Dhanishtha girlie through and through, and I GENUINELY THINK, it's the 3rd pada of Dhanishtha.
Why? You may ask. Well...
I just read something about how the Eight Vasus, Dhanishtha's Deities, all preside in the constellation of Delphinus, which is related to dolphins. Chenle is a dolphin. Also, I associated him with a Magha rising first because of his kingly and lion-like features and vibe, but Dhanishtha is the opposite of Magha and is just as kingly and lion-like (which is Dhanishtha's yoni). He's a Punarvasu rising in my own humble opinion now (4TH PADA MIND YOUUU)
Aside from that, I have also written reasons why he would be Dhanishtha in my ChenJi chemistry post which I would not reiterate, BUT I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT HE IS A DHANISHTHA GIRLIE.
Also lowkey, Shravana Moon people have darker skin, but Shravana Suns have lighter skin. Especially in East Asian/Southeast Asian genetics. Trust me, I have like tons of Shravana Moon and Sun friends. All of them are gays and lesbians.
Meanwhile, the Dhanishtha Moon people I know have like the lightest skin possible. All of them Bright Springs, but I digress.
NOTES ON KETUVIAN
*applied if you have Ashwini, Magha, Mula on your big 6 and Ketu 1h, 2h, 4h, 6h, 7h & 10h as well as prominent aspects to inner planets.
✰ Ketuvian natives might be born right after the family managed to battle a very difficult time in their life. Since we know that nodal is a karmic placement, all that is left is the family members dealing with internal issues while the natives watch them pick themselves up from zero. I believe that the natives’ existence is a reflection of the family’s karma as well and it urges them to look at their surroundings to work through it.
✰ Might be more shallow but I notice that Ketuvian natives are often the better looking siblings.
Jisung and Chenle: Understanding Each Other
This account uses Vedic Astrology. To avoid confusion, Jisung is a Shravana (Capricorn) Sun and can have either Vishakha (Libra-Scorpio) or Anuradha (Scorpio) Moon. Chenle has an Anuradha (Scorpio) Sun and can either have Shravana (Capricorn) Moon or Dhanishtha (Capricorn-Aquarius) Moon. I will interpret their relationship based on the combinations of both possible moon signs of each person.
Let's start!
To start off, the compatibility of their sun signs is already great. Anuradha, ruled by Saturn, is steadfast and loyal, while Shravana, ruled by the Moon, is emotional and thoughtful. Sun and Moon are entirety different things, and so in their sun signs, Jisung, as a Shravana Sun, is quite shy, but is an active listener. He doesn't talk as much especially with other people, but he is fairly amiable and friendly. He is quite sensitive, as Shravana's symbolism is the ear, so he might hate loud sounds or other disruptive noises. As Shravana is ruled by the moon, Jisung is effortlessly loved by the people around him, and may be always babied. Shravana, as it is in Capricorn which is ruled by Saturn, is quite persevering and determined. Jisung will always get the job done, and he does not half-ass his works. For him, it is always about discipline and doing things to the best of his abilities.
Shravana being ruled by the Moon can make a native quite emotional. Althought the Moon sign is a bigger influence, Jisung's Sun would make him quite emotion-driven in his decisions. Shravana's caste as an outcast (Mleccha) can make him quite lonely. This is different from Uttara Ashadha lonely which is due to its incompatibility brought about by its yoni. Shravana's loneliness stems from its natural affinity to being coveted by the people around them.
This is where Chenle comes in. Anuradha is a nakshatra of extreme friendliness as it is presided by Mitra which is the God of friendship and camaraderie. The person who will befriend anyone? That's Anuradha (and Uttara Phalguni). Chenle's extrovertedness allows him to have a lot of friends. He will approach anyone and everyone. He's a man of extreme kindness and loyalty.
He's the one that coaxes Jisung out of his loneliness. He's the one that understands Jisung's specific sensitivities. If Jisung is allergic to one thing, Chenle would know. If Jisung hates this one thing, Chenle would know. If Jisung doesn't know how to do this one thing, Chenle would do it for him.
Chenle understands service to others and loyalty. He's empathetic, understanding, and a true lover, and it takes a true lover (platonic or romantic cuz we all know Chenle straight as hell probs) to understand the specificities and sensitivities of a needy and emotional nakshatra like Shravana.
Based on their sun alone, they'd tough it out with each other.
Now for moon sign compatibility. As we have no confirmed birth time, their moon signs can range to two nakshatras. I'm going to start with what I think is their moon signs are to the moon signs I think they are least likely to be, which isn't a big gap and we can't exactly know their moon signs unless we have a birth time, but still.
Jisung: Anuradha Moon; Chenle: Shravana Moon
Moon placement is different from Sun placement. I like to believe this is their moon placements the most because:
1) Anuradha Moons have this elevated cheekbone structure to their face, and are most often main dancers (RIIZE Shotaro, BtoB Minhyuk)
2) Chenle's lookalikes are Leonardo DiCaprio (Hasta Moon, another moon-ruled nakshatra), Jaejoong (Shravana Sun), and Daehwi (Shravana Sun)
3) Soulmates Vibes. Imagine your best friend's sun sign is the same as your moon sign and vice versa😍😍😍
4) Is this:
Anuradha's sexual animal, or yoni, is the deer. This can be seen in the fact that deer's are pretty shy, but are very graceful. They learn to have great control of their bodies, so it can be said Anuradha people are quite lean muscled and are good at controlling their bodies for dance. In Vedic astrology, the moon is given a bigger importance than the sun, so it can be said that the moon has a grater influence on our physiognomy and personality than our rising or sun. The deer's shyness can then be translated into Jisung's shy disposition and sheepish interactions. However, like deers, once they trust you, they are charming, kind and loyal.
Unlike Anuradha sun, Anuradha moon people are more reserved. They embody Anuradha more than the sun does. They are friendly, but shy. They are humble peacemakers and are always stopping fights. They support other people and desires rarely to incite conflict. They are disciplined and hard working, and they would always start working at a young age (Jisung at 7 was already at a dance troupe while Chenle was singing concerts at 9).
Chenle being a Shravana moon, is more playful. The yoni of the nakshatra is a monkey, and monkeys are known to play pranks on people or even be curious enough to go into places or touch things they aren't supposed to. This is more in line with Purva Ashadha, the other monkey nakshatra, but Shravana is, nonetheless, quite playful.
Chenle is extremely playful and touchy. He likes to make jokes and play pranks. He enjoys teasing as much as he enjoys basketball. He's quite active in sports. Just like how Jisung is sensitive, Chenle is even more so. He's quite emotional. He gets into his head a lot more than Jisung does, and he overthinks some actions he may have done in the past.
Due to the moon's receptiveness and feminine nature, as the ruler of Shravana, Chenle has this receptiveness and femininity to him that you would not really find in Jisung. He's quite "babygirl" if we think about it. It's only exemplified by the fact that it's his moon placement. While he's fairly independent and largly self-competent (Anuradha's influence), his inner desire and emotional landscape tends towards a desire for dependency and "princess treatment". This is why Chenle prefers Jaemin as a gym partner rather than Jeno because Jaemin is receptive to Chenle's emotions (Jaemin has an Uttara Ashadha Moon, which is ruled by the sun and the sun will always shine on the moon), while Jeno isn't (Jeno has a Mula Moon, which is ruled by ketu, and ketu rarely cares about other people's feelings).
In this case, Jisung's Anuradha moon provides a steadfast and loyal attendance to Chenle's Shravana moon needs and wants. It's a bit like servant and master or more aptly, worshipper and god. But Jisung doesn't mind it, because of Saturn's rulership, he is used to hardwork and servitude. In fact, he probably craves the idea of servitude. Chenle likes that Jisung is pliant to his needs and wants. Since he likes it, he's playful and childish because ragebait is his love language.
If this is their sun and moon sign combination, they'd both be the type to do things for each other and get surprised when they get THE EXACT SAME THING for each other. Jisung is more devoted to Chenle than Chenle is to Jisung, but Chenle wouldn't leave Jisung behind. They'd hold each other through their darkest days, and they would know exactly what each one likes.
Jisung: Anuradha Moon; Chenle: Dhanishtha Moon
This combination is far more different from the last pair. All the same things apply to Jisung, except this time Chenle is far less receptive of Jisung's loyalty. Dhanishtha is the nakshatra of the rising star. It's the nakshatra of many famous people (Marilyn Monroe, Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, Jung Jaehyun). It's the nakshatra that cares more about
Chenle could have this moon sign, and I think generally that he could have this moon sign. Sometimes, I struggle between choosing Shravana or Dhanishtha for his moon sign. This is because Dhanishtha is one of the most musically-inclined nakshatras. It is active and likes sports. It also ties into Chenle's name which means "Music Star" and Dhanishtha is the nakshatra of the star and is adept at music.
Dhanishtha also achieves many things at a young age. This is the same as Anuradha, but unlike Anuradha, Dhanishtha achieves fame and/or success at very young ages.
Dhanishtha is very sweet. They are genuinely nice to other people and are rarely a starter of conflicts unlike its predecessor mars-ruled nakshatra, Chitra. They are sensual and dominant and holds grudges.
Dhanishtha's yoni is the lion. One can immediately understand many of Chenle's personalities and symbolism in this one. Dhanishtha, as the lion, is quite proud. While it is friendly, it doesn't bow down to anyone. It's not a big rule follower because it is its own king. The lion doesn't concern itself. It's very protective of its kin.
Anuradha and Dhanishtha would not mesh well with each other, romantically at least. The lion preys on the deer (hypothetically, of course). There is a difference in power, and Chenle overpowers Jisung to the point that Jisung might lose himself.
Anuradha would desire to be with Dhanishtha, and while Dhanishtha might find it cute, he's not interested. He'd prefler someone who can match his freak, if you know what I mean. Chenle would prefer someone who isn't pliant. Someone who challenges him. He'd prefer a person who wouldn't trap him. He's a free spirit. He's a celebrity. He does what he wants.
Jisung isn't all that. Chenle is borderline self-serving. Jisung would ruin himself. Jisung is jealous and possessive and Chenle couldn't care less. Unlike Shravana who would enjoy the endless attention and obsession of Anuradha, Dhanishtha would hate it.
Dhanishtha is also very public about its relationship in a flexing way. You bought Chenle a gift? He'd post it? You brought him out on a date? He'd talk about it. He's a gossip (a trait shared with Shravana), and the gossip will always be about flexing his life. Anuradha is a far more subdued nakshatra. It's in the little things for it. It's private. It's cherished. We don't know about it because Jisung won't talk about it.
The combination of moon signs might make a relationship that is quite common among many ChenJi fanfics which is yearning for your best friend, but unlike the fanfics, Chenle wouldn't reciprocate the feelings. He might find it cute, but he'd rather not. It only ends in heartbreak. They would still remain friends, but Jisung would remain yearning and Chenle would pretend that it's all platonic.
If they become a couple though, there is heavy compromising for both. Jisung would do more compromising than Chenle, but sun sign synastry would make them quite understanding of each other. They'd tough it out, and again, Jisung more than Chenle.
Jisung: Vishakha Moon; Chenle: Shravana Moon
Vishakha is a far more different nakshatra than Anuradha. First of all, it is ruled by Jupiter, Saturn's antithesis. It is partially in Libra, and it is presided over not by Mitra, the god of friendship, but by Indra and Agni. Indra is the chief among the demi-gods, and is very fixated, goal-oriented and offensive. Agni is the fire god and represents Vishakha's unending energy.
Vishakha is a party animal. Jupiter is all about indulgences and jubilation. This can be seen in that the nakshatras with heavy Jupiterian influence like Rohini, Purva Bhadrapada, and Vishakha are indulgent beings. They like to party and they like alcohol. They smoke, and maybe do drugs, and enjoy all the things that is there to enjoy in life.
Vishakha is a very goal-driven nakshatra. It is determined and persevering. Jisung would be very determined to achieve his goals, and sometimes, he would not stop until he attains it.
Unlike the reservation of Saturn, Vishakha's Jupiterian influence is uncontrolled. Jisung is friendly and loyal. He is quite obsessive which is a trait of all the Scorpio nakshatras (Vishakha, Anuradha, and Jyeshtha). He's quite a lot to take in. Very charming, but very dangerous.
Vishakha's yoni is the tiger, and the tiger is the king of the jungle. It swims harsh rivers. It chases prey even when the trees are in the way. It will climb trees to eat those on the top. If it has set its mind on a goal, it will not stop until it has attained it.
Libra's influence gives this nakshatra a very libran side. It is just and fair. It strives for the justice of all people. It is kind and loving. It is fairly outspoken.
This is a very liberal nakshatra.
Shravana would hate this nakshatra. Chenle's too emotional and needy for someone like Vishakha. Vishakha doesn't care about the small details or the fact that you didn't call. It doesn't care that it forgot to call you 'baby' last night. The relationship wouldn't crumble over something that doesn't even chip the wall. That is Vishakha's motto.
Jisung will care about Chenle, but he's not going to pretend that Chenle is too much in its head. He would see Chenle's clinginess and think, "ugh".
He would obviously not cheat on Chenle, since he could be obsessed with him, but he wouldn't pretend that Chenle is a bit high maintenance for him. Vishakha isn't about discipline or order. It is about getting what he wants. He might want Chenle but after getting him, now what?
Vishakha is a demonic nakshatra. Shravana is a godly nakshatra. The only thing that's going to happen is a fight for who wins. Vishakha would win, and it would subdue Shravana, slowly corrupting it. Shravana would hate it.
This combination of moon signs is giving Chenle wanting attention and Jisung too busy with his own independent life to give a fuck. In the end, Chenle would feel unsatisfied because he isn't getting what he wants and Jisung would think he's overdramatic. Chenle would cheat because his emotional needs aren't met and Jisung probably would too because the sex just isn't good.
The sun signs might make them more understanding of each other. They would tough it out and make compromises. Chenle more than Jisung. Jisung is nice, but he's not that nice.
Jisung: Vishakha Moon; Chenle: Dhanishtha Moon
No introduction needed for their natures. This is a great combination. Dhanishtha likes someone who wouldn't mind its materialism, and Vishakha is a very materialistic person. They'd be the couple you see on Instagram who always seems to be on trips or in fancy restaurants.
They'd match each other's freak. Jisung is a tiger and Chenle is a lion. Those two carnivores respect each other. They recognize each other's own prowess and find a mutual understanding in their hunger and desire. The sex is good because they fight each other for who is more dominant (Chenle would win most of the time, and when Jisung wins, it's because Chenle allowed him to.) They like the fight.
Jisung doesn't care about the little things most of the time, but Chenle doesn't as well. They'd forget anniversaries or monthsaries, and they wouldn't care. As long as they're having fun with each other, they would be good.
Jisung is obsessed with Chenle and Chenle thinks it's funny and indulges him. Unlike Anuradha's timidness, Chenle likes how open Jisung is about being into him. Jisung is confident and makes it known that he wants Chenle to be his. Chenle laughs and wraps a hand around Jisung's waist. He wouldn't mind Jisung being his.
Chenle would enjoy being with Jisung because Jisung indulges him in anything he wants. Jisung would enjoy being with Chenle because Chenle is very generous to him.
They support each other, not in the uwu warm soft and cuddly type of way, but in the way that is fun, generous, sensual and indulgent. Fun is the key word here.
The combination of their sun signs with this moon sign pair would make them equally devoted to each other. They're both masculine and feminine in their own ways. Chenle stands by Jisung and nurtures him. Jisung takes care of Chenle and protects him. Things would slot into place and they would enjoy each other's company.
Soulmate energy is as high on this pair as the first pair of moon signs.
BONUS !!!!!
I've been thinking about their rising signs while writing this post, and I have a few guesses.
Chenle: Magha, Uttara Phalguni or Punarvasu. Magha because of his Tim Burton look and nonchalant attitude. Uttara Phalguni (Virgo) because of his nonchalant attitude and 5H stellium and 3H sun and Shravana Moon. Punarvasu because he's a great cook and Dhanishtha moon. The reasons are far less superficial, of course, but I had to simplify.
Jisung: Uttara Phalguni or Hasta. Uttara Phalguni is more superficial and is more vibes, but Hasta is based on looks, personality and overall demeanor. Also, 3H sun and 5H stellium for both signs lol.
Single Parenthood in NCT Fanfiction
Venus Nakshatras are one of the most common placements I've seen for people in the Single Parent trope in NCT fanfiction. Let's talk about it.
Let's start with the placement of the Venus nakshatras. These nakshatras all lie in the middle of every fire sign: Bharani (13'20°-26'40° Aries), Purva Phalguni (13'20°-26'40° Leo), and Purva Ashadha (13'20°-26'40° Sagittarius). Coincidentally, the two most common placements I've seen for single parenthood come from Bharani and Purva Phalguni, the nakshatras whose rashis are influenced by the Sun, Aries (Exaltation) and Leo (Domicile).
The Sun, in its cosmic sense, is the force with the highest gravity in our solar system, hence the name. As such, with its high gravity, it can often pull many asteroids and planets to revolve around, essentially adopting these celestial objects that usually have roamed freely for years upon years. Yet, despite its nature, it stands alone. The sun doesn't have another star in it's orbit—that would be catastrophic.
Most NCT fanfictions that start their premise around a single father usually begin with the single father being entirely independent from anyone and entirely dependent on themselves. This is the influence of the sun.
While Sun nakshatras (Jaemin - Uttara Ashadha Moon) have been used for the single father trope, I find that the Venus nakshatras are more prominent. This is because Venus deals a lot more with the production of the child.
Within the Solar Rashis are the Venus-ruled Nakshatras, Bharani (in Aries) and Purva Phalguni (in Leo). The Sun naturally rules the 5th house of children along with bed pleasures. Intrinsically, the two are connected through the action of procreation.
The reality of being a single solo parent and its struggles are more evident in these two nakshatras than in the Sun-ruled nakshatras. This because the function of Venus as the natural ruler of the 7th house of partnerships means that these nakshatras cannot carry the burden alone because unlike the independent Sun Nakshatras, the Venus Nakshatras crave partnerships and love.
So, while Sun nakshatras would be fine on their own as a single parent due to their carefree nature, Venus nakshatras struggle with the idea of being a perfect parent. Venus being the planet of vanity and beauty can be a lot. A diamond does not form under the bask of the sun; it forms under pressure deep beneath the earth. Beauty is pain, and to be perfect is to suffer for it.
Thus, the single parent trope of these nakshatras often carry the scenes of being the perfect parent or being enough. The feelings of inadequacy, of not being as perfect as a diamond is echoed.
The most popular single father in NCT fanfiction is Jung Jaehyun (Bharani Moon). Most of his fanfictions in this trope relate to the debilitating factor of being a single parent, and the story proceeds with him meeting people who help him turn this debilitation into something more positive.
Bharani is the birth of Venus. It is the first of the Venus Nakshatras. Its symbol is the "yoni" or vagina. It represents the birth of a person. It represents femininity, nurture.
However, the presiding deity of Bharani is Yama or the Lord of Death. Thus, Bharani also represents death. It is the extremes that this nakshatra functions. Therefore, in many of Jaehyun's fics, he essentially loses himself (death) as soon as the child is birthed (birth).
The fact that the nakshatra is in Aries brings a lot of the martian activeness in the prologues of the fanfics. Jaehyun used to be wilder, but due to his wildness, it now resulted in him having a child. Essentially, that teenage part of him died along with the birth of his adulthood.
Jaehyun's stories are then centered around balancing or accepting the idea of death and birth in his life. He has a child now, and he's not some wild teenager who can live freely and hedonistically. His childhood is dead. He's an adult now.
I will note that JohnJae are the two most common single fathers in the single father trope where being a single father is a big part of the plot. Doyoung, Taeyong, and other members in the single father trope are more or less about the romance, a different plot point altogether.
Purva Phalguni is the second Venus Nakshatra, and it sits in the sign of Leo. Like, Bharani, the rulership of Venus makes it quite passionate and hedonistic—a result of Venus' rajasic nature. However, unlike the accidental single parenthood that Jaehyun is often burdened with due to teenage recklessness, Johnny's single parenthood is more divorced/widowed.
Purva Phalguni's ruling deity is Bhaga, and while Bhaga is said to mean "pleasure", he is also said to rule over wealth and marriage. The phalgunis are both related to contracts due to their ruling deities, making them one of the most loyal lovers (if Uttara Phalguni EVER chooses to settle down that is).
Johnny has his ascendant in Purva Phalguni. The sign of Leo emphasizes the loneliness of single parenthood as the sun is now in its home sign instead of exaltation. Johnny's fanfics mirror the same experiences as Jaehyun's. However, there are differences.
Bharani's nature is of balancing two extremes, thus the main idea for Jaehyun is getting into terms with the responsibilities of adulthood and the death of his childhood along with the birth of his child.
Purva Phalguni's rejects puritanism. It does not desire the lack of sex, in fact, it encourages it. Parenthood, most often, due to the responsibilities of child rearing, makes one person celibate, much more a single parent who has to juggle the responsibilities of a village.
Thus, Johnny's stories center around finding a life partner because not only does it appease the Venusian nature in him that craves love and partnership, it also appeases Purva Phalguni's nature of seeking pleasure and sex.
Kun is also a common single father, but there are barely any fics with Kun as the main character. I can't explore Purva Ashadha as well.
Now, there are other members that are labelled as single fathers, but the Sun Nakshatras and Ashwini (Sun's exaltation) don't have being a single father as the main plot point, and the Rahu nakshatras (Taeyong, Ten, Renjun, Doyoung and possibly Jaemin) are more single mother/mpreg i-got-pregnant-and-vanished trope.
Jaemin's Compatibility with Jeno (Moon and Sun)
This account uses Vedic Astrology. To avoid confusion, Jaemin has an Ashlesha (Cancer) Sun and an Uttara Ashadha (Sagittarius-Capricorn) Moon; Jeno has an Ashwini (Aries) Sun, and a Mula (Sagittarius) Moon.
Jaemin, as an Uttara Ashadha native, is either very compatible with all of Dream or very compatible with only one of them.
Most of Dream have Saturn-ruled nakshatras ruling their sun and moon. Saturn and the Sun are both the second coldest and hottest planets respectively. This equalness in temperature ensures the co-independency that the Sun requires and desires and that Saturn can provide.
The Sun, as observed in the sky, is the only one visible in the morning and is responsible for the whole solar system due to its gravity. That being said, Sun-ruled nakshatras are the most masculine of nakshatras. It is never the receiver, only the giver. Masculine energy doesn't drain, but fills up. It provides sustenance and never dims anyone's light.
Saturn, before the discovery of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, was the edge of the solar system. It was the limit of where the Sun's energy would be put out. Thus, Saturn rules limitations. Saturn, as well, is a masculine planet. It projects outwards; it adds limits; it is not the one limited. It controls and is not the one controlled.
The Sun's energy might even require control, if not, it projects its energy indiscriminately and while it won't be drained of it as it is the source of it, it would lead to fruitless pursuits. Saturn's energy leads the Sun to where it needs to be and controls its projection to a fruitful pursuit.
Therefore, the Sun-nakshatras (Krittika, Uttara Phalguni, Uttara Ashadha) are immensely compatible with the Saturn-nakshatras (Pushya, Anuradha, Uttara Bhadrapada). The fact that they are earth signs and water signs respectively are another thing to note.
How the Sun would affect Saturn is a different topic, a similar sense of harmonic synergy, but a different perspective altogether.
If Jaemin has his moon in the Capricorn side of Uttara Ashadha 0°00 - 10°00, then his most compatible Dream members (moon-wise) are:
1. Renjun (Swati Moon and Uttara Bhadrapada Sun)
2. Haechan (Pushya Moon)
3. Chenle (Shravana Moon and Anuradha Sun)
4. Jisung (Anuradha Moon)
5. Mark (Revati Moon and Pushya Sun)
BIG WALL
6. Jeno (Mula Moon)
However, if Jaemin has his moon on the Sagittarius side of Uttara Ashadha 26°40 - 30°00, then his most compatible dream members (moon-wise) are:
1. Jeno (Mula Moon)
2. Jisung (Anuradha Moon)
3. Mark (Revati Moon and Pushya Sun)
4. Haechan (Pushya Moon)
WALL
5. Renjun (Swati Moon and Uttara Bhadrapada Sun)
6. Chenle (Shravana Moon and Anuradha Sun)
I have a good inkling that Jaemin is in the Capricorn side of Uttara Ashadha.
Jeno is the only one in NCT Dream to have Ketu in their Sun or Moon. This can be characterized by the fact that Jeno has few friends outside of NCT and is quite introverted.
Ketu as well has an inert and discriminitive quality to it. Ketu rules the past, thus tradition, and rules genetic purity. It is therefore common among its natives to be very discriminative of which people it shares its energy. This can manifest as a form of racism, misogyny or prejudice. Ketu individuals therefore have this sense of pompousness to them which is a stark contrast to the Sun. While the Sun is non-discriminative, sharing its energy to anyone, Ketu is discriminative, only really sharing its energy towards its in-group.
Ketu being choosy isn't a bad thing. The deal with Sun's lack of standards for itself means that it will attract even people with negative energy. Ketu, like Saturn, can help in the discrimination of those bad energies. The problem with Ketu is that it can be the negative energy.
Ketu is either the bad or the good. It is not both nor is it the middle. Ketu is extreme. It is the the arrow piercing the body and the body being pierced. In its positive function, Ketu is the loyal guard that protects the prince, but in its negative function, it is the enemy who kills the prince.
Jeno has his moon in Mula, this nakshatra is ruled by Ketu in the sign of Sagittarius which is ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter in itself is a benefic, a good planet. Thus, Mula is in a higher functioning than Ashwini or Magha.
Mula is a tamasic nakshatra, meaning it's imovable or inert. This manifests in Jeno being introverted.
Jeno's introversion would do well with Jaemin. Jaemin is introverted himself, but both have different reasons for it. Jaemin is introverted because of his ability to enjoy his own time. The Sun will still burn bright even without planets orbiting it. Jeno is introverted because he has few desires to seek other people. Ketu is far too busy introspecting and seeking deeper meanings within itself to socialize.
Still, Jaemin is a far different introvert from Jeno. Jaemin is able to make friends outside of his own circle. He is quite amiable and is willing to enjoy other people and strangers. Jeno rarely enjoys other people he is not close with. The only reason he isn't a total recluse is his Ashwini Sun, which I will discuss later.
Jeno and Jaemin suffer from the dependency of Jeno on Jaemin. Jaemin, as we have discussed earlier, is ruled by the Sun, which is quite independent on its own. While the Sun is kind, it does not revolve around a planet. This results in a personality that will cook for you, but will not launder your clothes. This is the same as the Sun providing the Earth with light, but will not push the Earth to revolve around it. If the Earth does not move, then the Sun will not cause it to move. Jaemin provides for Jeno's needs, but his wants are a 50:50. Jaemin believes that Jeno should take initiative for himself, but Jeno, due to Mula's functioning, rarely does.
At first, Jaemin might enjoy pampering Jeno, but when it comes to a point of Jeno needing Jaemin to do something to the point of depending on him, there will be friction.
Dependency also leads to obsession. Jeno might even be obsessed with Jaemin's independency and how he's able to provide for himself and for other people. He might seek Jaemin's energy the most.
Sun-nakshatras value freedom. Jaemin will dislike the obsession.
Other NCT Dream members aren't like this. The other members often are quite independent on their own. There is an interplay of co-independency that allows for freedom within the relationship.
I would say that Jaemin is compatible with Mark the most, but that is a post for another time.
Jaemin's Ashlesha Sun in Cancer is most compatible with the dream members:
1. Mark (Pushya Sun)
2. Jeno (Ashwini Sun)
3. Renjun (Uttara Bhadrapada Sun)
4. Chenle (Anuradha Sun)
WALL OF CHINA
5. Jisung (Shravana Sun)
6. Haechan (Rohini Sun)
Ashlesha's functioning in real life can be understood by its rulers: Mercury and the Moon. Ashlesha as ruled by Mercury is cunning, and sharp-witted. It is able to manipulate people with its charm, and is able to communicate effectively to get his desired goal—the fact that Ashlesha natives tend to be quite charming and often revel in acting cute is something to be noted. Ashlesha as being in Moon-ruled Cancer is fiercely protective and caring. They tend to be in positions of power, not as the leader figure, but as the mother. Jaemin is often considered the "mother" in Dream, being the one heavily relied on by the members when it comes to nurture and comfort. This is something he shares with Taeyong, another Ashlesha native.
Thus, Ashlesha is heavily protective of the people they love.
Ashwini is the first nakshatra of the 27 nakshatras, and it is ruled by Ketu and Mars through its rashi (Aries).
We've discussed before how Ketu is quite inert and tamasic. Mars is also tamasic. It is fixed energy. But in Aries, the Sun is exalted and the Sun is a sattwic planet meaning it is good.
Ashwini's position as the first nakshatra signifies its innocence. Ashwini natives are like children, and are quite immature themselves. The good thing about this being Jeno's sun is that like a child, he is quite curious and initiative, a trait exemplified by his Mula moon. However, it also battles with his tamasic Mula moon. When his Ashwini Sun is in control, he is friendly and adventurous, but when his Mula moon is in control, he is a recluse. I find that the synergy of his Ketuvian placements makes him quite smart and inquisitive.
Ketu-ruled nakshatra placements, especially in Moon or Mercury tend to make their natives quite smart due to the discriminative tendencies of Ketu allowing for proper digestion and categorization of information from bullshit to actual facts.
Jaemin, as an Ashlesha sun, recognizes Jeno's motives easily. This partly because Ashwini is an honest and straightforward nakshatra, and Ashlesha is a cunning nakshatra. Jeno is kind and Jaemin recognizes that, that's why they get along. Jaemin rarely trusts people even though he can get along with a lot of people, and Jeno can be trusted because he is an open book. Jeno tells exactly what he needs and wants. It's all up to Jaemin to do the same.
Jeno might find Jaemin's lack of honesty quite annoying though. Jeno hates secrets, and Jaemin can be secretive.
Jeno's childish selfishness might be a friction, but Jaemin's nativity in Ashlesha makes him dote on Jeno endlessly.
I would find that Jaemin's doting Ashlesha sun merges well with Jeno's dependent Mula moon. It is the same with Jeno's adventurous Ashwini sun merging well with Jaemin's independent Uttara Ashadha moon.
I still have a lot of thoughts about their romantic synastry, especially in the most common tropes in their NCT fanfiction tag, but that might be for another time.
Ashlesha Observations in NCT Fanfiction
Ashlesha and Punarvasu are the two cat yonis of the zodiac.
The "yoni" is the sexual nature of the nakshatras. In this case, Ashlesha and Punarvasu share the same yoni, the cat. It can be said that the yoni influences how the nakshatras move and function.
This can be further explained by the presence of a few particular people in NCT, Taeyong, Jaemin and Haechan.
Jaemin, as an Ashlesha Sun, is quite common in many fanfics that tell a story of seduction and mischief.
The cat is fickle. It runs away at any sense of danger. It runs its fur against you . It scratches you. It meows at you to get your attention. The cat is unpredictable.
Jaemin in many fanfics is like a cat. He stares at you from across the room, and when the time is right, he approaches you and entices you with his sweet words. Cats are intelligent mercurial beings and they are carnivores by nature. If they see prey, they will stalk and hunt it.
This can be further emphasized by how Jaemin is characterized in fics. In many sexual fanfics, he is this sexually attractive man who is like a predator hunting its prey. He is dominant, commanding, and when he wants you, he will get you.
Ashlesha, as a nakshatra, is dangerous. People with Ashlesha deceive to get what they want. In can be noted that Jaemin is often in positions of chameleon like characterizations. He is a spy, a secret agent, an assassin. He is the criminal mastermind that presents as innocent. He is a con-artist. This functioning of Ashlesha can be understood by its shakti, visasleshana shakti or the power to inflict poison. Poison, in historic times, has always been used as a means to kill people in power in secret.
Poisoning someone is similar to injecting venom which is often done by snakes. One of Ashlesha's symbols is the Naga, a half-snake deity. It can be seen in many hybrid fanfictions that Jaemin, other than being a cat hybrid as represented by the cat yoni of Ashlesha, is more often than not a snake or reptillian hybrid.
While not all snakes inject venom, many snakes use constriction as a way to kill their prey. They wrap their bodies around their prey and slowly tighten their hold until the prey dies from suffocation. This can be seen in the way almost the top 3 ships in the NCT tag when searching bondage is dominated by Ashlesha natives (Haechan - Ashlesha Rising, Jaemin - Ashlesha Sun, Taeyong - Ashlesha Moon in a ship with Johnny - Ashlesha Mars).
Taeyong and Haechan relate more to the cat yoni of Ashlesha than the snake symbolism of the nakshatra like Jaemin. These cats are fickle and teasing.
Taeyong is often characterized by his submission in fanfics. He's always written as the bottom and rarely as the top. This is because of the cat's nature. If a cat senses that someone is not worthy, it scratches and snarls in anger. This can be understood that Taeyong is often written as this untouchable being that is hard to get. He teases you and then he runs away. He entices you and then disappears. It's only when someone who is physically and mentally strong (mostly Johnny and Jaehyun, ironically both having Mars and Venus nakshatras in their big three) are able to catch the cat and place it on their lap does the cat start to find its comfort and lie down.
The same can be said for Haechan. In the context of MarkHyuck/MaHae, Haechan is not paired with a strong and masculine man that will force him into submission. He is paired with a strong-willed man who resists his advances (Mark). Mark has a strong Saturnian influence (Pushya Sun and Mercury, Mars in Libra (Swati), and Saturn as AmK) and has the Buffalo yoni as part of his sexuality (Ascendant in Hasta and Swati Mars).
Saturn has a lot to deal with restriction and limitation. Often, the nakshatras that deal with his influence have a learning curve of learning about the danger of Hedonism. Saturn nakshatras are preceded by Jupiter nakshatras, and these Nakshatras enjoy the gift of abundance. Saturn nakshatras are the learning curve of the over-abundance and how limitation and strictness is key. Mark may therefore decide that indulging in Haechan can be disastrous.
Mark also has the buffalo yoni in his sexual aspect. The buffallo is a large and heavy animal. It is slow-moving yet strong. Mark having his Mars here will make him quite hard to have. Sexuality isn't as much to him as intimacy, and therefore, he's not easily enticed by Haechan's advances.
Hasta, another buffalo yoni nakshatra, as his Ascendant means that he's quite covered up in his outfit or at least does not show off his body as much as the other nakshatras. While Revati as his moon will allow him some skin, his most comfortable is not showing any. This can seem as a barrier of some sort from the sexualization that Ashlesha can use for manipulation.
In many MaHae fics, rarely is it that Mark and Haechan are one-night stands or strangers before performing anything sexual. There has to be some sort of connection first. It can be explained that Swati, as a rarely sexual nakshatra, can be considered asexual or in the spectrum of asexuality, in conjunction with Hasta. I find that most ace-spectrum characters in the NCT fanfics tend to have those nakshatras in their moon and rising (Renjun - Swati Moon, Jaemin who I suspect has Swati ascendant for entirely different reasons, and Mark - Hasta Ascendant).
For many MaHae long fics, rarely is the sexual encounter immediate, and if there are, Mark immediately disagrees to the thought of it.
That's all thank youuuuuuuuuu
Color Analysis of The Boyz Members: Part 1
I am back again with another color analysis post. This will be halved into two parts because unfortunately, I cannot fit all 11 members in the post.
Just a disclaimer, I am not a professional nor do I have professional education, I just happen to watch too many Tiktoks and I happen to notice the differences with a keener eye than your usual person. Feel free to disagree, but I wil literally cry.
By the way, I am surprised by the amount of warm-toned people here, and even the cool-toned members are warm-toned adjacent (neutral-cool toned) except Kevin LMAOOOO
Also, another thing, I strongly align myself with Carol Brailey's rules when it comes to color analysis, therefore there are NO light seasons.
The order is not by age. I will be posting whichever member I was able to finish searching for pictures. I am sorry, but all these men ever wear is black and I am fucking TIRED.
Eric Sohn: Deep Winter
(The first pic is actually lethal. It's the reason i was inspired to do this.)
- The only Deep Winter in TBZ. He has a neutral-cool undertone and looks best with the pinks and purples of the palette. His next best palette is True Winter.
- You can just tell he's a winter palette. I already typed him as a winter and Deep Winter was my best bet. I was right.
Lee Juyeon: Deep Autumn
(I just knew he was warm-toned when the 4th pic dropped. Siargao Boy Juyeon, you're the only one I allow to gentrify that island.)
- He is a great example of a Deep Autumn that can rock Deep Winter colors. Having a neutral-warm undertone, he looks best with the violets and reds of the palette.
- This one is a no-brainer. Juyeon is easily what one would think of as a Deep Autumn. Actually, him and Sunwoo are your typical Deep Autumns. I always typed him as Deep Autumn so I am very happy that he is one.
Choi Chanhee: Bright Spring
(You would think that since Chanhee wears so much colors, I would have an easier time but NO. It took an hour.)
- An example of a Bright Spring that can pull off True Spring colors better than Bright Winter colors. With his neutral-cool undertone, he best fits the blues and the pinks of the palette.
- I originally typed him as a Bright Winter, but then I was like...he looks spring though, so I processed him again and LO AND BEHOLD, the Bright Spring palette revealed itself. He just couldn't handle the harshness of winter seasons. I was so sure about that.
Jacob Bae: Deep Autumn
(I actually gave up in looking for warm colors in this man's whole celebrity life that I just edited the pictures. Men truly will be men and they LACK fashion🙏)
- Having a neutral-warm undertone, Jacob is better suited for the darker colors of the autumn season. He can absolutely wear colors from the True Autumn palette with better results than Deep Winter. He looks best with the browns and greens of the palette.
- I thought he was Soft Autumn because he looks so nice, so I am genuinely surprised that he's a Deep Autumn, because he doesn't give me the vibes that he is one, but seeing him in Deep Autumn colors, I just know it suits him.
Kevin Moon: True Winter
(The only time I am happy that a man is wearing black or white. Do you see how it suits him? Exactly. He has it easy.)
- With his fully cool undertone, he looks best with the True Winter palette followed by the Bright Winter palette. He looks the best with the purples and blues.
- I almost typed him as a Bright Winter, because he has that brightness in him, but his cool undertone revealed itself when I gave him lime green LMAO. The season fits him though. He does look good in black.
Kim Younghoon: Bright Spring
(Leo men and the Bright Spring palette is forever my favorite thing. By the way, I hate that he always wears black or gray. Invest in a good dark brown ISTG. Also, by the way, the stylists know what's up.)
- Having a neutral-warm undertone, Younghoon looks best with the bright warm colors of the Bright Spring palette. He looks especially the best in the pinks and blues. He can pull of Bright Winter colors better than True Spring colors.
- I genuinely thought he was a summer LMAO, but there's an ongoing theme of Bright seasons looking like they belong in a Muted season, but he looks genuinely good in warmer, brighter colors.
Other members are in part two, whenever that will be released💀
Color Analysis of NCT Members: WayV
This is part 3 of my NCT color analysis post.
I am going to preface this by saying that I am not a professional color analyst, but I have been learning quite a bit about how to look for a color that looks the best. This is all for entertainment, but if you disagree, I will literally cry.
- I use the 12-Season system, but I do wish I can use the 16 seasons. I just don't have any resources on them. How I choose a season is pretty similar with Carol Brailey on Tiktok/Youtube, and as such, no NCT member is a light season. Shockingly, there are no soft seasons here as well.
There are certain members (Ten, Yangyang, Jisung, and Chenle who have undergone color analysis themselves, and I will write if I agree or disagree.)
I haven't done NCT Wish yet as I am not familiar with them. In time, I might, but they are quite young and I am not comfortable getting to know them yet.
The next group is WayV:
Qian Kun: Bright Spring
(He really loves his orange which I agree!!! He does look good in orange.)
- A characteristic of many Bright Springs is their sophistication and loud presence. Kun looks best with the greens and pinks of the palette. Unlike Jaemin though, he can pull off Bright Winter reds, but looks significantly worse with black than Jaemin.
Lee Ten: Deep Winter
(I love the fact that he's a winter because I swear I would have a hard time finding color otherwise.)
- Professionally typed, and I agree. He looks best with the purples and reds. He can pull off True Winter colors better than Deep Autumn ones.
Dong Sicheng: Bright Winter
(The fashion designers KNOW he looks good in bright colors. Love that for him.)
- Despite his shyer demeanor, Winwin pulls off the brightness of Bright Winter exceptionally well. Many Bright Winters have this air of unapproachability to them with the reasons varying. He looks best with the greens and blues of the palette and can significantly borrow from the Bright Spring palette aside from the oranges.
Xiao Dejun: Deep Winter
(The black clothes are TOO common istg.)
- While Xiaojun is a Deep Winter, he can better borrow colors from the Deep Autumn palette rather than the True Winter palette. He looks the best with the greens and purples of the palette, and can wear darker brown better than Hendery or Ten.
Wong Kunhang: Deep Winter
(The first pic cracks me up. That doesn't erase the fact that he wears too much black.)
- A funny man with a prince-like appearance, Hendery wears the pinks and the blues of the palette the best. He can borrow from True Winter better than Deep Autumn, a stark contrast from Xiaojun.
Liu Yangyang: True Spring
(The only man of COLOR, no but his earlier posts were more colorful. Yangyang please wear more color I am BEGGING.)
- The severe lack of autumn in this household. Professionally typed as Light Spring which I wholeheartedly disagree. With his cheerful and bright personality, Liu Yangyang suits best the True Spring palette, especially the oranges and greens. He can borrow some colors from True Autumn, but only the lighter shades.
Here's a summary of all the seasons:
Deep Winter: Taeyong, Ten, Xiaojun, Hendery, Jeno
True Summer: Johnny, Mark, Chenle, Jisung
True Winter: Doyoung, Renjun
Bright Winter: Yuta, Winwin
Bright Spring: Kun, Jaemin
True Spring: Jungwoo, Yangyang
True Autumn: Jaehyun
Deep Autumn: Haechan
Overall, the statistic is accurate with many of East Asian features. Some seasonal palettes are more common within an ethnic group than others. Aside from that, the group statistic represents how the image of NCT as a whole is more winter-y than any other season, which could explain how there are a significant number of winters than any other season.
Color Analysis of NCT Members: NCT Dream
This is part 2 of my NCT color analysis post.
Unto NCT Dream, I will not add Mark or Haechan as I have already discussed them in 127, but I do believe they are as part of this group as they are on the other one:
Huang Renjun: True Winter
(He knows his best colors iktr)
- A surprising palette for a cheerful man, Renjun is a True Winter that is able to pull of True Summer colors with only a few flaws. He looks best with the yellows and reds of the palette which is fitting for his cheerful personality.
Lee Jeno: Deep Winter
- Aside from True Summer, NCT is abundant in Deep Winters which is to be expected. They're Asian. Looking his best with the reds and violets of the palette, Jeno can also pull off many True Winter colors.
Na Jaemin: Bright Spring
(Can we talk about how Hello Future, Hot Sauce and Beatbox are the only times Jaemin wears any sort of Bright Spring colors like??? That man wears three colors, Black, White, and Pink, and not the right shade of pink too🙄🙄🙄)
- A fitting palette for a sophisticated yet fashionably loud man, Jaemin pulls off the pinks and cyans of the palette with little flaw. He can borrow some colors of Bright Winter, but not the reds.
Zhong Chenle: True Summer
(That one tweet about NCT Dream being a bunch of men without Renjun is right. There's not a damn color in this household, and if there is, it's a photoshoot or stage outfit.)
- He was professionally typed as True Summer which I agree. Despite being pale and having a higher contrast with his black hair, his skin lacks the shine that most True Winters/Bright Winters have. Instead, his skin has a matte look. Looking his best with the blues and purples of the palette, he can pull off some lighter True Winter colors than the rest.
Park Jisung: True Summer
(Unless it is Renjun, Jeno, or Mark, I don't want to look for the dreamies in any other color. These men are monochromatic af. I struggled, went to hell and back, literally cried. I don't want to do this anymore. NONE OF YOU LOOK GOOD IN BLACK, STOP WEARING THEM)
- Professionally typed as True Summer, which I agree, he looks best with the pinks and the greens of the palette. Many True Summers have this yellower tint to their skin which can often be thought of as being warm-toned, but no. He is fully cool-toned and he doesn't suit any sort of warm colors to his skin at all.
COLOR ANALYSIS OF NCT MEMBERS
Let's start with NCT 127:
Suh Johnny: True Summer
(You see, this is what I like about Johnny; he knows the colors he looks good in. Aside from the occasional black and white, it's all summer colors)
- Johnny, despite having tanned skin, is fully cool-toned. His best colors are the pinks and the greens. He doesn't suit Light Summer, but he can borrow the more saturated colors of Soft Summer. True Winter colors are overwhelming. Since he's cool-toned, warm colors do not suit him well.
Lee Taeyong: Deep Winter
(You would think I would have loads of pictures of Taeyong in Deep Winter clothing but no. He's always wearing Bright Winter clothing. I had to edit the first two💀)
- I have seen him get categorized as a Soft Autumn, and have seen him push his brand in Bright Winter, but ultimately, he looks the best in the dark colors of the Deep Winter palette. His best colors are the greens and the violets. He can borrow from the True Winter palette, but he will not look good with borrowing Deep Autumn colors.
Nakamoto Yuta: Bright Winter
(Yuta totally knows that he looks best with bright colors. I literally just have to scroll down his Instagram feed for this.)
- NCT is mostly cool-toned. The NCT brand itself is a cool-toned based brand made from bright reds and neon greens. Yuta is one of two Bright Winters in NCT. He looks best with the reds and cyans. He can pull of many True Winter colors, but he ultimately looks best with the brightness of Bright Winter.
Kim Doyoung: True Winter
(Doyoung has truly mastered the art of "I look good in black, so I wear only black" which I love because he does look good in black.)
- The only True Winter in 127. Doyoung looks best in the blues and greens of the palette. He can successfully pull off Bright Winter colors as well, but he blends best with the less saturated colors of True Winter.
Jung Jaehyun: True Autumn
(Jaehyun wears a lot of muted browns—many of which are quite warm in their undertone. I think Jaehyun knows he looks good in brown. Also, perfume is the only stage where he truly shines in his stage outfits lmao.)
- Controversially, he is a warm-toned man forced to wear True Winter clothes. He looks best with the browns and greens. He does not look good with any other subseason of autumn but he is able to pull of multiple colors of True Spring.
Kim Jungwoo: True Spring
(The only time Jungwoo wears his flattering colors is during photoshoots istg. His Instagram feed is monochromatic af😭)
- A fitting palette for an entertaining man, Jungwoo looks best in the oranges and greens. He is not able to pull off any subseason of spring eloquently, nor is he able to wear any autumn colors with great luck.
Lee Mark: True Summer
(This man loves navy blue which is good for him because he looks good in it.)
- This man often wears True/Bright Winter blues which is not totally off. He is truly cool-toned. He looks best with the blues and greens of the summer palette though. Due to his high contrast features, he is able to pull off a few of the True Winter colors, but not black. He does not look good with any of the other subseasons of summer.
Lee Donghyuck: Deep Autumn
(He needs to stop with the black clothes. Haechan please invest in some good quality camo green I am BEGGING😭🙏)
- A Deep Autumn that can pull of Deep Winter colors better than True Autumn colors, Haechan is a warm-toned man that looks best with the purples and greens of the palette. Thankfully, he sports many muted browns in his wardrobe, all of which, suit him quite well. He does not look his best with black, but it's not truly off.
of all people, why was it you that i agreed to be in a relationship with?
