for the record, you CAN improve this a lot by committing to proper posture and lifting form even when you are doing normal things.
most people only bother to engage their thighs and ass when they’re at the gym (if at all!) and not when they bend over or pick up small items dozens of times a day. If you treat every one of those moments as deliberately as if you were squatting 150lbs, you will avoid SO much pain!
picking up laundry? squat, don’t bend. sweeping the floor? keep your back straight. washing dishes? tighten your abs and mind your posture. it adds up. it helps. I promise.
hey come here a second . ignore the noise just come here

I can't believe home depot literally produced a wildly successful science fiction musical and we all just pretend it didn't happen. on one hand yes it had a boring white guy main character but like.... home depot just... Made it? And it had shit ton of box office sales? and no one even talks about this. this is like avatar (2009) all over again
OK so. After a lot of frantic googling I realized this was all a dream. home depot did not in fact produce a wildly successful science fiction musical. I was on allergy meds and took a nap and my brain simply prophesized this. slightly disappointed because I wanted to watch it.

marius is so “oh no! anyway” about eponine confessing her love and then immediately dying that 1862 girlies could have started using “and by the way, monsieur marius, i believe that i was a little bit in love with you” as a preface to announce major geopolitical events

Was talking about saw x with a girl in class today and she's Hispanic so we were both kinda laughing/complaining about the yellow filter they always put over Mexico and south asian/middle east countries and then that one asshole dude cut in and started explaining how color grading was a very intentional choice made by the directors and how important it is to cinema (like ok. Shut up and maybe think about how hollywoods biases might affect their portrayal of certain regions because THATS what we were talking about. Not the concept of color grading) and then he got really mad at me because I was like "omg you're so right" and started waxing poetic about how the blue filter on twilight was the best example of color grading I'd ever seen in film because it perfectly encapsulates the misery of the pacific northwest
