okay i would love to see the crew behind the murder of sonic tackle the anime high school romance genre

first impressions on the murder of sonic...i like it so far!, i was worried (giving this is a april fools gag) the game would be similar to the meta era in terms of tone and be filled with unfunny jokes.

i'm SO happy the cast (so far) actually feels in character, i was worried knuckles would go back to being an idiot giving this is a April fools game, but I'm glad they kept the portrayal Sega has been doing recently.

anyway i would love to see them tackle the anime high school romance genre, the crew (from what i played so far) managed to capture the casts personality well and the story despite being a joke was very interesting enough for me wanting to keep playing.

giving the fact we only have Amy (sadly), rouge and blaze to work with, it be great if they added Elise merlina and Sharah to throw in a few more options, they could even parody tropes we see in both japanese anime and American school movies, imagine a breakfast club style chapter as the prologue

i would love for these April fools games to become there own spin off series, imagine the possible!

should sonic get another anime? (discussion)

i know sonic prime is currently airing, buuuuut who's to say we can't have a anime and a cartoon at the same time ? with the multiverse thing being established i feel like a brand new sonic anime is possible.

with tailstube hinting at a multiverse, this could allow sonic team and ian to experiment, no tie ins with a game and not having to worry about connecting said anime with the main games

and just because there's a human cast doesn't mean it has to be boring, the first sonic movie shows it technically is possible to have a decent human protagonist

for this new anime i'd say try doing a female one , a character more like Helen or tom and less like Chris

make her...idk a secret agent?

maybe working for g.u.n?

a cop?

a normal girl?

and hey why not have earth look futuristic instead of the same old settings

i'm thinking something with a cyberpunk look, something vibrant and colorful, new and different but feels like a location from unleashed

plus they can adapt or expand on games that don't get a lot of attention ...o6 or rush maybe?

the art style can also pop, instead of something generic why not something unique like kill la kill?

or star wars visions

cyberpunk edgerunners

there's a million of ways they can do this, it doesn't have to be sonic going to a generic city or copying dragon ball

but that's about it, and here is where i would like to ask, should sonic get another anime, this time with a human cast done right?

base idea:

in a desperate attempt to destroy the freedom fighters, dr robotnik awakens a secret project his grandfather worked on 50 years ago "project shadow"

a modified enhanced creature made from mobian and black arms DNA

the doc uses a mind control chip planted in shadows brain to obey his commands, a classic good guys fighting each other encounter happens until eventually bunnie and sally break the chip freeing shadow, the hedgehog awakens not knowing who he exactly is or what his purpose was

one event leads to another which leads to shadow saving the gang and him joining the team with the promise of finding out more about his past

aaaand...that's about it, a pretty basic and dumb plot i quickly thought of, let me know what you guys think

the first 18 pages of a fan made paramount sonic reboot, the script is based on early ideas and concepts paramount and sony had, such as rava and his army of lizard warriors, more of mobius, other sonic cast members, a pg-13 rating, a darker tone etc

i also added in some of my own ideas like new and original characters, expending o0n certain ones like making longclaw a important characters figure in sonic's life

making sonic brown as a nod to the uk comics, making robotnik more like a mixture of his satam and game counterpart, changing the location to station square and more surprises

the tone and inspirations for my version i took from is mainly the planet of the apes reboot film series (will be explained if i write more) James Cameron's avatar and of course the dark knight trilogy

i went with the blue blur instead of "sonic the hedgehog....something" to give my version it's own identity and as a nod to other titles like "man of steel" or "the dark knight"

this is my first time writing a script, so i may be a bit rusty

I have a feeling sonic Rouge and knuckles are going to be my favorite trio, this Clip in the trailer makes me HOPE it's a solo action scene with them

IMAGINE a 2 minute section of the first episode (which is 45 minutes long) was recreating the Satam intro!👀

Come on we have everything for a great set up, humanoid robots, A robotic city for crying out loud, freedom fighters basically complete with a half robot mobian

You know what I find interesting about rouge being added to the team? The fact this is probably the first time where her and sonic might share more screentime

I always found this pair interesting, we've seen sonic interact with shadow and I think omega, but I noticed he and rouge never really share more then just one or two cutscenes together

Very curios on what they're dynamic will be like

Satam vibes were going HARD in this trailer, I wouldn't lie and say I tears up when I saw Amy's half robotic limbs, because I just pray it's inspired by...*ahem* a certain character😔

So we got cyborg Amy as bunnie

Tails who I'm assuming is the rotor

Cant really say knuckles is the antoine (unless you mean the Archie version)

And if rouge is the leader, then I say she's the Sally

I'm surprised I wasn't the only one who thought of this, in fact I saw someone making a mod a few years back, and today I'm here to ask...what if sonic and the sakura wars series did a crossover? I mean the reboot of course as that goes into more of a hack and slash brawler with rpg elements, sonic frontiers now that I think about it also leans in into the combat focused gameplay with rpg like elements too

The game also has sonic talking to various npc and returning characters in the open world, so him interacting with the characters wouldn't be out of the ordinary

Still how would and should Sega handle this crossover?

What would the story be about?

Would this have to take place in a alternate universe or would the characters just travel to each others worlds?

What about the gameplay now that I think about it, should it be like sonic adventure where it's multiple gameplay?

Possibilities are endless!!

I would love to hear everyone thoughts on what they think about this possible crossover idea

Many have speculated the mysterious purple hair lady from tails tube might be the ai/ghost.

I had a hard time believing this as the tga voice didn't fit with the design, but today we got more gameplay and a sneak peek at one of her lines.

o i decided to do a little test...what do you guys think?
