How about we remember George Michael as the gay man he fought all his life to be, and Carrie Fisher as the bipolar woman who has been outspoken about her mental illness. How about we remember them as they were. George Michael a proud Gay man, an icon, Carrie Fisher a proud bipolar woman, an icon. Both of whom struggled with addiction. Both of whom were human and treated unfairly under a spotlight that should have treasured them. Both of them, inspired millions, inspired generations and generations to come. How about we remember that.
