But she snuck her way into the bathroom with me and was right at my feet when I read the test. So I obviously picked her up and explained to her that she's going to be a big sister now.

Darren: And I just need to hold you and kiss you all over and obsess over parenting books and baby blogs so I can learn this shit early on. I'm taking this job seriously! It's the biggest and best role of my life! Hey, it's okay. She was there before me so I completely understand, and to be honest, I expected it. I hope she's excited. I have high hopes that they're going to get along.

Lea: I know I've taken the pregnancy test and it's positive. But I have a doctor's appointment set up for Tuesday. Just to 100% make sure and we can see the first ultrasound together and everything.

Darren: This is so exciting. Oh god. I'm going to cry but I need to keep it together. What do I need to bring? What can I do for you? Is there anything that you need right now in this moment? Lea: Even though this year has been a shit show, I'll never ever forget it. Simply because it's the year we finally got together. I've spent the last decade of my life loving you. I'm so happy we're in a position now where nothing is standing in our way. We have the complete freedom of being together and shouting it from the rooftops if we wanted to. Darren: I'm just glad he's out of the picture forever. Best of luck to whoever ends up with him next. But I almost think him just being alone for the rest of his life is better punishment than anything else.

Lea: As terrible as it is to say, I'm kind of glad everything worked out the way it did. We should invite them over for a Thanksgiving feast actually.

Lea: Baths are so relaxing and amazing. I'm going to start drawing up more bubble baths for us. Because I know once you get used to the aesthetics of a nice relaxing bath, you'll want to take them all the time. Plus it's an excuse for you to be around naked Lea, so it's a win-win.

Lea: That sounds like heaven. I'm sure we could find a nice, cozy cabin that can fit the four of us. Plus I'm sure the boys would also love to get away for a little while too.

Darren: Please. Any excuse to get close to you in any capacity is good enough for me, especially if it's happening in a nice and relaxing bath tub. I'll be sure to keep us stocked with the best champagne and wine for the bath.

Darren: I'll start looking and see what options we have. And we haven't seen a whole lot of them recently either, it'd be nice to catch up. I miss Tyler, he and I are bros and time and life has just been keeping us apart.

Lea: I'm more than alright with just booking a nice hotel suite somewhere and just staying there for an extended weekend. We can wear nothing but the fuzzy hotel robes and live off of room service.

Lea: Or we can head down to a nearby beach for a weekend. I'm definitely not opposed to that idea either. I'll be happy anywhere we are, as long as you're there.

Darren: And take lots of baths with a lot of champagne. Just because we're fancy like that and we can. I literally never take baths unless I'm in some fancy hotel room but it's become tradition at this point.

Darren: We could rent a cabin up by a lake so we can have the best of both worlds. I say we just stay there from Christmas into the New Year with the boys if they're down.

Lea: I'm never against being locked indoors with you. Especially when we spend a lot of days in bed with one another. But we definitely do deserve a little vacation.

Lea: How about we go somewhere really romantic and off the grid? Maybe somewhere warm and on a private beach or resort? Or if you wanted to go somewhere cold, we could head to a ski resort and stay in a cute little cabin together. I'll still ask Connor and Tyler about Vegas, but we can plan that once we get back from our trip alone together.

Darren: At least if we go on a vacation we can spend time together and in bed in a new place, right? That in itself is exciting.

Darren: I'm definitely down for something warm, we have all winter to sit around and freeze and we can always plan to speak the holiday's up in a cabin or something. Were you thinking about going all out? Or somewhere somewhat local still? I'm down for whatever so long as we're together.

Darren: I'm down for Vegas. I'm also down for going somewhere just you and I and heading to Vegas with them if you'd like. That way we can have our own little getaway before meeting up with them.
