Can we see some non-conventional doors? Like doors that go under the stairs and stuff?
Of course! Your wish is my command.

Can we see some non-conventional doors? Like doors that go under the stairs and stuff?
Of course! Your wish is my command.
This is a $1253.89 door from Home Depot (Home Depot just seems to have the doors I need lately!). An Anonymous ask wanted me to review some medieval doors, so here you go! The reason I picked this one was that it reminds me of an ancient torture chamber. There is literally no seeing through this door. However it has this modern twist on it, with how the wood looks. It doesn’t look old, but it doesn’t look new. Whenever I look at it I feel almost entranced, like i’m a woman whose husband has just gone to jail and i’m visiting him for the first time in months. I’m wondering if I will ever get to see him outside of jail again.
Rating - 7/10, you get all of these wonderful memories for an okay price. Score!
Can you do some medieval-looking doors? BTW love your blog's aesthetic.
Of course, medieval doors coming right up. Thank you so much!!
This is a $3785 door from Home Depot. As much as the description for the door wants you to think it has this high class society type feel, I can assure you it really doesn't. It’s kinda like the brand Gucci, as the weird emblem they have reminds me of the design on the door. They charge like $50 for a t-shirt that has the same quality as a rag from walmart that's been there for longer than some of the employees. Yes, I AM salty.
Rating - 5/10, I have too many wasted purchases to give it a good rating. Too many bad memories.
This is a $3645 from Home Depot. This door is very elegant and sleek, with its iron door panels. It reminds me of tentacles, but if you just forget about that then you should be fine. Think about it as some type of corn plant or possibly a fern.
Rating - 8/10, If you get over the tentacle part, you can have this beautiful door. The price is pretty steep, but worth it
This is a $827.11 door from Lowe’s. It is this beautiful burgundy red color, which Lowe’s has labeled as “Roma Red”. Once again, it does not come with a doorknob or lock, which does allow for more customization of the door but not much saving potential. It is extremely similar to the green door I had previously reviewed, with the only exception being the glass. What drew me to the door is the glass, which is this frosted glass that’d you’d probably only see at your grandma’s house or an old ladies house that owns 5 cats and never leaves. Marvelous.
Rating - 7.5/10, The price is down from the last, but it’s quite similar to the green one. Still an overall good door though.
This is a $559.35 door from Home Depot. The wood reminds me of an old barn home in texas that hasn’t been renovated since the 70′s and has seen some stuff. For this exact reason, I don’t particularly like it. I’m not exactly sure how i’m supposed to open it, is it a slide door or is it a normal opening one? The world may never know. It’s unfinished, as the website says.
Rating - 3/10, it just doesn’t do much for me. Too plain, and it reminds me of bad times.
What's your personal favorite door? Do you have any particular critters that had to be met?
I have yet to come across my favorite door, but I must say I have come close. I particularly enjoy very decorated doors, and doors that come with all the necessary components to install right away.
Hi it's your favorite Doorsexual again, coming at you live with a door question. Do any of the doors featured on your blog ever feel uncomfortable being reviewed liked this?
We make sure to get the approval of every door before rating and posting, thank you for your concern.
This is a $2,162.90 door from Lowes. It is an exterior door, meant to go on the outside of a house. The beautiful elder pine color would spice up any house, and the mixture of the textures is gorgeous. However if you’re not into the eldergreen color, they offer other colors as well. You really get what you pay for. The only downfalls that I see is that it doesn’t come with a lock or a doorknob, which is essential to any door.
Rating - 8.5/10, even though it has an outrageous price, it's still very pretty and all the upsides outweigh the downsides.
hi is loving a door legal yet????? I think my new sexuality is calling.
I believe it is!! go my friend!! Love doors!!
This is a $390.37 dollar door from Home Depot. It is styled like a barn door, employing a rustic style. The frosted glass allows for privacy but natural lighting to slither in. The sliding gives a true barn feeling. If you’re looking for a rustic door with some modern aspects, this is the door for you.
Rating - 6.5/10, the door seems a little too overpriced for what your getting, and the rustic style is hard to pair with anything. However if you have a little money to spend on a door and love rustic things, this might be for you.
This is a door from IKEA for $30.00. It’s a door with a simplistic design. The knob looks like a small round type, nothing much going on there. All in all, nothing much
Rating - 4/10, a little too simple
