A lot of people think marriage is the solution to there problems; they think that, my wife or my husband will wake me up for fajr, or I’ll start praying, or I’ll grow my beard/wear hijab.

The issue with this is that you’re reliant on another person rather than on Allah. Don’t get me wrong a lot of khair can come from marriage and you may get a spouse that does push you towards khair, but generally speaking you’ll marry a like minded person.

It’s not fair on yourself to think that only a spouse can push you in terms of your deen, we all have the ability to excel without a wife or husband. Start making the changes now before it’s too late.
