when I started to become more openly black online instead of a generic furry trans artist, I noticed I have been facing a lot of racism from it

my characters and myself being more fetishized by reactionaries-

people questioning if I'm truly black, saying they'll just "pretend I'm a white person" (weird)

my vents about my grudges with white people being anti black to me is twisted into being too "mean to white people and that I'm on white devil speech and I need to be nicer to them"

it's just crazy how I'm treated no differently for being black online than I am IRL, and this is mostly done WITHIN leftist spaces. it's exhausting.

it really does suck being treated like subhuman by people who are supposed to be my allies, especially when I criticize white fragility along with how antiblackness is too prevalent among our spaces specifically.

they see me as a crazy hotep for embracing black positivity and critical thinking towards non black individuals who benefit from white supremacy by being antiblack. and I hate that I'm not safe from this even in fandom spaces (which are exceptionally racist in its own ways) just blugh

what fucking sucks the most is that vents on antiblackness gets mostly ignored, especially when Its a black person's own experiences but when non black people essentially repeat our voice they get thousands of notes of people going "yeah racism bad"

white people genuinely only care when other white people tell them stuff. it's so frustrating and I want people to deprogram this mindset.
